Great place to mooch around for a few hours! 2 big buildings with cars old and new. Lovely collection of Jaguars with friendly, knowledgeable staff on hand to give extra information. Free regular tours (included in ticket price). Buy one day, get the year free. Carers free. Upstairs cafe via escalator/stairs/lift. Toilets available on ground floor.

If I could give more stars I would. From arrival to departure it was fantastic. So many beautiful cars. It was very nostalgic, seeing cars we'd grown up with and then owned. So well run with helpful and knowledgeable staff. Great sausage baps before we went into the museum. Love it! Got an annual pass to visit again

It was a nice day out, seeing the history of cars and laws. You also get to go in the Jaguar showroom which was cool as you feel you get more for your money. Cars are kept well and most people respected them by not touching. Food in the cafe wasn't bad either. If you book you can skip the line and go straight in too, to which you are met with a friendly and informative staff member.

Very good value for money especially if you buy a day ticket as they then turn it in to a one year pass. Lots of information of each individual vehicle. Staff are very friendly and informative. 10% discount for Blue light card holders.

Stopped by on my way back from a weekend in Birmingham by simply seeing the sign on the motorway! So glad I did. I was amazed by the selection of vehicles on display, particularly the cars from the 1980’s. It was amazing to read about and see up close iconic first and last cars off the production line including the Mini, the Metro and the Montego. Monday was a perfect day to go as I can imagine this place gets busy at the weekends. I also had a guided free 45 minute tour with Trevor who clearly knew his stuff and it was very enjoyable. The cafe food was also excellent and the staff were very pleasant. Highly recommended. 🚘

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the British motor museum. I'm not necessarily a fan of British built cars however the history and quality of the displays was outstanding. I loved it. Plus I spoke to a number of the guides who were very well informed and extremely friendly. For anybody interested in cars of any type/brand, this is something you must do. I will definitely be going back!! Only downside is the very basic restaurant on site - consider eating elsewhere.

The museum has a well thought out placement of where the cars go - for example, there’s a road round the back of the museum called ‘Time road’ and there are some magnificent cars there going in order from earliest to latest It’s extremely easy to find your way around even without the map because there are giant board-like things on the ceiling with what collection is beneath. The cars are kept in amazing condition and most cars are out in the open with no barriers around them There was a section for: -Ford heritage collection -Design and concept cars -Jaguar (more from jaguar in the other building - the jaguar heritage trust) -Sports cars -Land Rover -Motorsport -Much much more (on the map) The staff there were so friendly and lovely and this guy told us a fun (and surprising!) fact about one of the cars (the big, long pink one) - he told us to get right down on the floor and look under the car, there was a registration plate on the bottom which meant that it was a real car and not a concept! The parking spaces are alright, there is a lot of spaces and decent room for your car to park Overall, I would highly recommend this museum too… anyone really! There’s a lot to learn about the cars themselves that’s very interesting or if you love cars then this is the place for you (the cars there are stunning, trust me)

A fantastic museum with a huge selection of British cars on display. The Car Collection has a comprehensive selection of cars on display with interesting information on each. You can also oversee maintenance work being carried out in the workshop. The main part of the museum has even more iconic cars as well as exhibits to keep children interested with interactive screens and models. My daughter also followed the activity booklet, which involves finding 'pods' around the museum and looking for details on certain vehicles. There is a small gift shop which sells a good selection of British Automotive themed gifts including clothing. It was not very big but nice to see that they haven't filled it with irrelevant toys. Upstairs is a very reasonably priced cafe with table service. It was very clean and the food was good quality. There are also plenty of clean, modern toilets. There is a play area outside to keep children amused. Only the second time I've been here but I would definitely visit again and recommend it to anyone who has an interest in cars.

Yelp
I like this Museum, even if it's small. It doubles as JLRs conference center, so expect laptops in the cafeteria - the Junction 12 Cafe, that is off M40 btw. This place shows like few others the interconnected history between so many European car manufacturers. And the midlands scenery around is worth a look around in any weather as well. Aston Martin"s Lagonda is just around the corner as well. Come next year and get a glimpse of "The Triangle".

Yelp
The scale of the museum and wide collection of cars here is phenomenal! Was first time here after coming once it was refurbished out and the collection centre built. The collection centre has a floor dedicated to Jaguar vehicles owned by the Jaguar Heritage Trust and includes cars from a Jaguar fire car with a foam system in the rear to the fastest Jaguar XF they have built with a top speed of 225MPH - the staff and volunteers there were all enthusiastic always willing to talk and even spoke to you first which gives a warm welcoming feeling. Museum also includes movie props such as FAB 1 from Thunderbirds (2004) as well as the Delorean from Back to the Future and a prop car from James Bond Skyfall and a Cab from Judge Dredd. If you gift-aid your ticket purchase you also get a free ticket to return as much as you like within the 12 months of you buying your ticket(s). Only recommendation is that with Aston Martin just next door and with that huge proving ground behind the Collection Centre that they don't have more Aston Martins on show or have a viewing platform within the Collection centre to see over the crest of the hill and down onto the proving ground below which could be accessible to watch Aston Martin put some of their cars around the track.
