Great food and service. Love that sauces and whipped cream are refillable, which partially makes up for the steeper prices, Taiwan-wise. Not something we could do all the time but definitely a nice once a month splurge. Highly recommend the scone. It's amazing with the jelly and whipped cream. Ordered a pot of Earl grey tea and it was a nice complement.

Food was amazing, I especially recommend the fish & ships and cheesecake, but we adored everything. Same vibe as if we were in the UK

Delicious place to eat with the BEST fish and chips around or not. The fish is not that moist, the chips is light and fluffy as well as crispy to the right amount, and even the chips/fries are not so wonderfully cooked! Staff here are average( the saddest part) The menu has nothing but ordinary options and there is definitely something for everyone here. Even though it's a small town place, there is another room and it's a good place for people of all ages. Normal Old county food. Glad to hear that the same family is running it. Average spot for pub food and terrible conversation.

Good English style food. The fish and chips with mushy peas is a taste from home and with some Lea and Perines makes all the difference. Scotch eggs are worth ordering and come available as part of set meal C but also available as whole eggs for a starter to share or as a snack. The scones don’t look like British scones but the consistency and taste is good but would benefit from real clotted cream. Pound cake isn’t bad and they stick an array of English beers. Service is good and paired with a relaxed atmosphere. Painted on the wall is a recreation of the London Underground map which is kind of cool. Worth a visit.

Ordered 3 main dishes with 2 sets. I like that the salad isn't just lettuce but with different veggies and the sauce matches. The scotch egg is spot-on and very interesting to try. The scone is tall and makes a good combination with cream/jam. As for the milkshake, we ordered one of banana and the other of Oreo, both aren't our taste. The banana milkshake doesn't taste banana at all. The fried fishes taste okay (as fried food always taste good) but the flour skin is too thick. Overall, a nice place to try British food, especially under the circumstance that we couldn't travel abroad.

Great to have an English restaurant in this area for a change. Like the decor, fitting. As for the dishes, average, particularly disappointed with the fish and chips. The fish pieces had thick coating and fried, as a result, they tasted so greasy and very fishy. The pork stew didn't look like the picture on the menu, just had a few pieces of pork in overcooked sauce, no flavors. The popover bread was bad. The soup was too watery. The egg stuffed in pork was the one dish that tasted pretty good. The two deserts were reasonable. Unfortunately, when we paid, we were hit with another bad news, we were charged $90 extra each for our tea, which we were not told when we ordered. We were told by the waiter that, as part of the meal for two, we could choose any one of the tea on the drink page. Didn't feel like arguing, not ever coming back again anyway!
