★★★★★ This was our second time visiting Brixs Bistro, and once again, it did not disappoint. Debbie was our server and she was absolutely amazing—on top of everything and so attentive. This place truly feels like a hidden gem. The food is always outstanding. The short rib was to die for, and the steak is consistently amazing. Even with the busyness of Valentine’s Day, the service and quality never suffered. Highly recommend—fantastic food, wonderful service, and a great overall experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Brix is honestly one of our favorite restaurants around and definitely one of our go to places when you want to have a nice dinner out just for a good meal or to celebrate a special occasion. We have been here many times, the food is always delicious. The staff is incredible we went to Brix to celebrate our anniversary last Saturday and we had the pleasure of having Tina as our server. She was so incredibly sweet, attentive and she was so helpful and honest about questions we had pertaining to the menu and what we should get. She was so personable and friendly every encounter we had with her, even first walking in the hostess was so welcoming and sweet. The food is phenomenal, incredible definitely fine dinning, we have not had had one dish tha we did not like. The chef is super talented, definitely gives you a meal worth going out for that you wouldn’t be able to make at home which is what we hope for and like to go out to dinner for. So many good choices for food and wine for a great price. We cannot say enough kind words about Brix, we will definitely be back they never fail us, we highly suggest you give it a try.

My brother brought the whole family to Brix for my mom's birthday. The service was amazing and the food was incredible! I'll definitely be returning. We had an awesome time!

We visited this restaurant for their special New Year’s Eve menu, and it was the perfect way to close out the year. The menu was thoughtfully curated—every course felt festive, seasonal, and a little indulgent in the best way. From the complimentary champagne to the generous entrees, everything was beautifully presented and full of flavor. A huge part of what made the night memorable was our server, Tina. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about the dishes. She checked in at all the right moments, offered great recommendations, and made the whole experience feel personal and celebratory. If you’re looking for a place that knows how to make an occasion feel special, this is it. We’ll definitely be back next year!

I love that we have elevated dining on 54-saves me the drive down to Tampa. I have had both tasting menu and standard menu-all great. It checks all the boxes: -Special occasion/date-check -Grab a steak dinner with friends-check -Spend up for an experience with tasting/wagyu-check -grab a burger-check -cocktail and apps after work -check. They do always have local seafood and thats a plus. Highly recommend

What an incredible experience under the new owners! This was my birthday dinner, and I honestly had the best steak I’ve ever eaten. My family couldn’t even agree on which meal was better because everything was amazing. The chef even came out to chat with us — such a great personal touch. The waitstaff was personable and truly made my night. Highly recommend checking this place out!

We were invited out for a birthday celebration, and I'd never heard of this place. Fine dining in a plaza next to Tractor Supply Plus? I wasn't expecting that! We were greeted at the door and taken right away to our table. It was Wednesday night, so it wasn't very busy. Our waitress was super attentive and offered a lot of advice on the menu. We each had something different to try, and each of us enjoyed our meal immensely. Their cute shell shaped butter was delicious, I guess it was a brown sugar butter, which offered just the right sweet on top of their warm bread. Our table enjoyed Caesar salad and the beet salad, both of which did not disappoint. The salads were offered in a small or large portion. The French onion soup was a relatively small portion, but when paired with the salad, it was a perfect meal. I was told the burger was one of the best they'd ever had, and the Parmesan potatoes were delicious. Both the scallop risotto and filet tips were hits too. We all cleaned our plates. It is listed as fine dining, and their prices definitely cater to that. I would recommend maybe a little brighter lights, but overall it was very cozy inside.

I have been Yelp Elite for many years and lost interest in providing reviews. HOWEVER, Brix 33 earned my praise on every level, and forced me to make a return. It HAS BEEN awhile since I had a meal out that I truly was wow'd by!!!! Most of the time we spend hard earned money and just feel like all we did was prevent hunger. Brix 33 really impressed me with this meal. Our table of 6 experienced all of the following: 1. Charcuterie plate. Delicious and well balanced plate with three cheeses, salami, dried fruit, nuts, jelly, and olives. Highly shareable. 3.5 stars. 2. Hereford Tenderloin Filet. Perfectly prepared. Well worth its weight in flavor! 3. Short Rib and Shrimp with pomme puree. THE SHOW STOPPER. This meal was epic!!!! I loved it. Best meal I've had out in years!!!! Bravo! 4. Mussels. Fantastic broth, very generous portion! 5. Smoked Salmon-perfectly prepared. Great flavor. We had very attentive service and the atmosphere is classically modern which makes it a dress up worthy evening out or business casual. I've been to fancier places, but honestly....this really was the best meal I've had in a long time! Go try that short rib!

Lovely use of dark and light blue for the walls. Black linen table clothes sets a more upscale mood. We didn't have a reservation but the wait wasn't too long and the service was exceptional. Now the food was A M A Z I N G! We ate every bite and used the bread to clean the plates. Don't sleep on this fine establishment!

Without a doubt, the best restaurant experience of my life! Food was unbelievably delicious, staff were incredibly kind, and the restaurant itself greatly exceeded all expectations in the overall vibe. An absolute must see for any of those in the New Port Richey area, but definitely worth the drive from St. Petersburg even! Looking forward to going back ASAP!

Decent price. Prompt service. Well cooked (my wife loves the pork) beef. Great wines. Dessert is great - well I only order the Terrine (it's NOT available in any restaurant I've been to, and it does cause my sugar to spike -weird). High recommend Thursdays.

Ordered the Bucatini Pasta. Came with 3 small shrimps and 3 small bay scallops. On the Keto diet so didn't eat the paste. The cost was $42.00. So for $42.00 I got 3 small shrimp and 3 small scallops.

Everything was fantastic. We started out with a charcuterie board, awesome. My husband had the short ribs and I had the salmon...again fantastic. We ended with a creme brulee. Cannot say enough. Pricy but well worth it

Perfect in every way! Quaint ambiance, great service, and amazing food! This is certainly a local treasure for a special date night or dinner with friends. A local gem! We have been to Brix 33 several times and it just keeps getting better! The bartenders and the servers are excellent. The focaccia bread, the French onion soup appetizer, and the scallop dinner were excellent. We are so lucky to have this special restaurant in our neighborhood! We cannot wait to go back!

We went for the early bird and couldn't be happier! It was a Thursday with $5 martinis. The scallops were excellent as was the French onion soup. Caesar salad was great but did have too much dressing on it . The tenderloin was cooked to perfection with great flavor. We are so glad the quality was there

Celebrating my husband's birthday at this local gem! Perfect for anything from a date night to a special occasion!!! Food is amazing, servers are knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive!! Worth the price for the quality of food they offer. Highly recommend reservations.

excellent food (that on occasion goes a little below par), but my wife and I go there at least monthly. I always get the steak that is listed on the chef's black broad, and my wife loves the pork. Wine is very good and not over priced. The $5 Martini Thursday are best for the odd types, like Espresotini, etc. and not the standard Gin martini. Service is always excellent. The ambiance is "wine cellar" with a lot of New York Black & white jazzy art. It is part of an strip outparcel so there is plenty of parking. It has a full bar in the back where you can eat if you are a single (eat there when wife was out of town, and it was comfortable). Did I say wine is very good? ;-) No pictures since we are too busy eating. Oh and February had a larger crowd then usual - I guess snow birds are here.

A true hidden gem! On the pricer side but the best steak around if you're looking for a nice place to go for a date night! I always make sure to order the French onion soup which is to dieeee for as well as the Hereford tenderloin filet - the most tender, juicy steak around. I always order it with the potato puree (a fancier mashed potatoes) and the baby carrots (also superrrr flavorful and has a hint of sweetness to it) Also if you come on Thursday they have martinis for $5!!

Tom Terrific here with another honest restaurant review. I went to one of my favorite fine dining bistros Brix 33. They have some great early evening specials. Served from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm Tuesday - Thursday with the last seating at 5:00 pm. Orders must be placed by 5:15 pm to take advantage of the earlier pricing. Early Evening Entrées are served with seasonal potatoes and seasonal vegetable. I got there on Tueday at 4 and Carla seated me at the bar which is where I like to sit and look at the TV news or sports. Vicki was my server/bartender who always takes good care of her customers. I started with a Cool As A Cucumber signature drink for $11. It has Tito's vodka, muddled cucumber & basil, limejuice and simple syrup. It was so good I forced myself to sip it though I wanted to gulp it. Up until then their Grandma's Smoked Apple Pie was my favorite which is a slightly heavier and more robust drink. I asked Vicki for a medium petite filet mignon which was on their early 4 to 5 pm menu for $21. I'm really glad i ordered it. It's hereford beef tenderloin with demi glace. It came with asparagus, mashed potatoes and gravy as pictured. I have to remark on the excellent quality of this filet. It melted in my mouth with an explosion of flavor that made my eyes pop. I'd put that filet up against anything in Tampa. The veggie was warm and crispy and the mashies were great. Vicki had me try their new apple bread with real apples on top drizzled with cinnamon sauce. What a treat! She gave me a dish of olive oil and basil to dip but this bread was fine all by itself and i'll ask for it every time. My bill came to $31 and change so I tipped Vicki $7. I checked out the men's room - Clean. If you haven't been to Brix 33 you should give it a try on your next night out. Plenty of seating and parking. I've never had anything except wonderful meals and tasty drinks here. I recommend them. Click on all my pics!

This is a popular and nice restaurant. We luckily sat in a side area because the noise level in the main room was very high. Our server, Karla was really lovely and professional. The presentation was good but both my onion soup and shrimp scampi were very, very salty as were my husband's choices. Given the prices, I don't think we will return even though we appreciated the atmosphere and service.

Great service, food and wine selection. I love that Wednesdays they offer a fantastic Selection of half off wine by the bottle. Definitely worth the visit if you're in the area.

Had a reservation for six . We got there a bit early and were seated immediately. The surf and turf was amazing ! Also loved the cocktail choices . Our server was very friendly .

Brix 33 probably the best fine dining in the area. Great menu which changes after, great bar with interesting cocktails and specials, and a top notch staff - and Cindy who runs the place is awesome

Definitely NOT fine dining. I had the misfortune of experiencIng dinner at Brix33, which bills itself as an upscale restaurant, but nothing can be further from the truth. The level of service and the attention to detail was on par with Denny's or Cracker Barrel, which are both a far cry from fine dining. Underwhelming food and dining experience coupled with poor service is a more accurate depiction of this mislabeled, self prophesy fine dining disappointment. If you seek fine dining you should definitely look elsewhere so as to avoid the Brix 33 experience, especially if you're a foodie like me. I'm closing, if you're in New Port Richey and you're looking for a very mediocre dining experience, then Brix 33 is it.

Very cozy restaurant and vibe, pleasant staff too. The food was tasty, their white sauce was a little heavy, but nice flavor. We were 5 people and all had very good portions with one exception--my son's chicken Marsala was one tiny breast and not at all worth it for the price, so there's room for improvement there for what is essentially a non-high end meat. Only other negative is that sides cannot be swapped out at all, found this to be a little surprising, but not a deal breaker. All in all, really liked the fine dining, white table cloth service and comfort of this NPR gem. Would return.

The restaurant has wonderful ambiance. The violinist played relaxing pop music, a nice twist from what I expected. Our server was nice and attentive but not overbearing. The chef special was lobster knuckle and was delicious. The Hereford Beef Tenderloin left much to be desired. The demi-glaze tasted like packaged McCormick au jus and the beef was very tough, though it was cooked properly to order. Table bread is by request only and we're very basic store bought rolls. Not what I would expect from the way the restaurant is presented. My rating would be higher if the highest price point meal was not the worst part of the evening. Will be returning, just not ordering a beef meal.

Visited again, this time with my fellow foody friend. Since the first two visits were sensational I was worried that I might be disappointed with this trip. It turned out to be as good and probably better than the first two. This restaurant is tremendous. There is none like it nearby. We each had the French onion soup which was tremendous. We each had the bucatini pasta, which was also fantastic! I had a small sample of the marsala sauce since I am a big marsala fan, and no one does it well. I think this will be my go-to place for chicken marsala. The sauce was dark and rich, with mushrooms and just the right amount of marsala flavor. But I had already selected the pasta dish, and I will tell you about it. Although it is made with the very best parmesan, It is not alfredo. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the sauce was creamy and unlike alfredo, it was very very rich and flavorful. The French onion soup was just as it was before, perfect. I'm already looking forward to returning again soon. If you havn't given this a try, you should! Great menu, great chef, and great service. A very well run establishment. I rate it 5 stars with no hesitation.

The ambiance was amazing featuring low music and dim lighting, the food was to die for at a candlelit table. I had the Hereford tenderloin with Brandied carrots and fingerling potatoes along with a couple of the $5 martinis. Service was attentive and thorough, starting from the hostess Karla to the waitress Anissa, everything was lovely! 10/10 I highly recommend Brix for any special occasion or just to stop by in your free time for a wonderful experience.

OVER PRICED FOR MEDIOCRE FOOD! You can get a better meal at any American steakhouse chain. Save yourself $100 and go eat somewhere else. Food was bland, portions were small, prices were..... HIGH.

Fine dining should include a well trained kitchen staff. I'm sure the Chef is capable because I've been here before and it was excellent. But don't leave your kitchen to a bunch of kids who don't know what Salt and Pepper is. (I did a walk by) Nice presentation (clearly chef driven) Poor performance in flavor and texture. Under-seasoned and over cooked steak, scallops, and shrimp. Caesar salad had zero Caesar flavor... bread dip lacked everything but the cheap oil that was on the plate with some herbs that held no substance. Wait staff were awesome... kids in the kitchen... not so much. Cmon Chef. $$$$ deserves at least some salt and pepper with proper searing. Remedial training perhaps? Expo it!

After dining at Brix33 many times, we took our family there to celebrate our son's birthday and son and daughter in law's anniversary. WOW what a disappointment, they called us on Friday night and wondered if we were still coming, our reservation were for Saturday night, I made reservations saying we were celebrating a birthday and anniversary, . When we arrived on Saturday night, the first thing out of our waitresses mouth was , get your order in as we are busy. No mention of a birthday or anniversary even though I reminded the hostess on our arrival. Our cheesecake was served on a hot plate and we had to ask for another one. I could go on and on not sure if we will ever go back. When you spend over $500 dollars I can recommend many other venues. I reminded a gentleman with glasses at the hostess stand of the birthday and anniversary celebrations, when I asked our waitress why she didn't mention the celebrations, she said she wasn't aware them. We love the waitress Anessa and think her husband, the chef, is very talented. We welcome a fine dining restaurant in our community and offer these constructive criticism to insure the success of your restaurant. Our complaint is with the management and our server tonight.

Everything was as good as a Chicago restaurant. I had tips with mushrooms and their popular Brussels sprouts. Someone else had the salmon and wished they would serve the Brussels sprouts with the salmon. The sauce is a tai chili pepper with a tiny bit of heat. The other two guests had steaks. Desserts were very good also. Zero complaints from the 4 of us. It was my mom's birthday and I thought maybe they could have given her a candle, but whatever. It's a special occasion kind of place. The restaurant was clean and neat. A little warm but it's 90 plus outside.

Had my wife's 60th birthday party there 19 people for dinner in their private dinning room a varied menu served on time & together ( no easy task for a party of 19 )NOT ONE SINGLE Plate sent back! Everything cooked to perfection Cindy Morecraft & her staff provided excellent service our server Debbie took care of every need with a smile , I will definitely recommend Brix 33 to family & friends & look forward to dinning there again...

A friend of ours invited us to Brix 33 restaurant for dinner where he is a regular. When we arrived, the restaurant owner greeted us when we were seated. The restaurant has a casual cozy ambience with roomy seating. Our waitress was quite pleasant and attentive. It was happy hour, so I immediately indulged myself in a couple of cocktails along with an stuffed pasta appetizer which was delicious and we all shared. For dinner, I ordered the Hot smoked Salmon that I also enjoyed very much. It was a delightful dining experience with friends.

This place is a true gem! An excellent restaurant with exquisite service and food. What a great experience. The food was delicious and plenty of choices. 5 star everything! The entire restaurant provides the all around perfect dining experience that I look for. Enjoyed the guitarist. A perfect location. We loved the menu, the one-of-a-kind cocktails and enjoyed the first-class service. Very well stocked wine selections. Definitely worth the visit if you're in the area. Went there with my mom and husband. We have been there previously and food was outstanding. This time we went on a Thursday night. It was not busy and we were 3 of about 20 in the restaurant. The ambiance was good although a little dark and quiet noisy. The service was good. There was a little bit of a wait for our food (35 minutes). While the food was delicious, mine and my mom's was cold. We will be back for sure.

This is our go-to place for a quiet quality meal and expected just that for New Year's Eve...didn't happen. Ambiance was great, bar seating was nice, bartenders and service outstanding. Food was just not as enjoyable. Wife had French onion soup, nice presentation but flavor was bland. Onions not caramelized (white) and very few in soup. She followed with Beef Wellington. Filet tasted boiled no flavor and bacon was used instead of duxelles. She enjoyed the carrots. I ordered the roasted brussel sprouts which had nice flavor with pork belly but sprouts were hard. I followed with lobster risotto which had nice pieces of lobster claw meat but risotto was over cooked and the addition of andouille sausage overtook the flavors...gave the dish a heavy smoked taste. Not a good combo. $165 with 3 cocktails was normal for this type of restaurant but food just not up to expectations. Shame on you. 3 stars for service and ambiance

We were there for a holiday dinner and it was lovely. The atmosphere was cozy and the food was exceptional. It was in an odd area but once we found it all was well. We had the cod and a few cocktails which did not disappoint. We shared a ton of apps as well all were great! If ever in this part of town again we would def f Go back!

This place was better than expected. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but we finally went and we were impressed with the food and the service.

Massive disappointment. I drove a half an hour to go there only for a major disappointment. I ordered the steak tips which I normally love with sauce on the side and I tried the sauce which was pretty good but the meat was gray and there was definitely tendons or something that I had to take out of my mouth because I couldn't chew. Normally the tips are charred and not gray. Ugh! I didn't eat them and told her that I didn't like them and still got billed for it. $20. That's annoying. I had to ask to have it taken off my bill which is terrible customer service. If you don't eat it and say you didn't like it you shouldn't be billed for it. Then, I ordered the smoked salmon which I don't know why places say they smoke things if they don't taste smoked. I grew up with smoked salmon. This wasn't smoked salmon. It's not smoked. Their Chardonnay list was about five different chardonnays and none of which I had heard of and they call themselves a wine bar. Overall a huge disappointment. Maybe I'll go back but I won't go running.

What a great experience. Hard to find fault with anything... The food was delicious and plenty of choices. The Chilean sea bass was perfection. Seafood bucatini was great; the scallops were cooked just right, the sauce wasn't too heavy. My wife and sister loved the mussels appetizer. Even the dinner rolls were impressive: sweet and soft. Very well stocked wine selections. Generous portions. Our server "Little" Debbie (there's only one Debbie anyway) was really great: fun, quick witted, knowledgeable, and just a few seconds away it seemed for any need we had. Anticipated just about anything. Cannot say enough about her. Great teamwork with the other staff who are also friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the guitarist, too. Nice place, pleasant and not too loud so you can have a decent conversation. Very glad we visited.

My favorite restaurant Brix 33. I absolutely love their presentation. When I dine there and I order something new I am in anticipation of how it will be plated. I sometimes regret disturbing the artistic design of the carefully placed comestibles. Not. I dig in with gleeful abandon.
