Has a very welcoming and nice staff, as well as a cool bar and lounge. Personally I liked the location but it's definitely not close to the old town and the castle hill, though walking to the touristic center was not a problem. Bedclothes aren’t made neatly, they get messy after a night’s sleep. And no curtains on bunk which means lack of privacy. The poster in the bathroom was very strange saying “clean up, your mother does not work here.” They don’t say this when asking for the money 🙂 We pay the hostel for cleaning services as well, very strange to mention someone’s mother in a professional establishment.

Great hostel. Clean, friendly staff, lovely lounge area where you can chill out, great bar, comfy beds, they provide complimentary tea and coffee & towls. Kitchens available for you to cook and store own food, cleaners are in all the time! So pleased we chose to stay here, had an amazing 4 days! Close to trams/train/bus to get into the centre in a few minutes.

Brix Hostel, Prague Our stay at Brix Hostel in an 8-person dorm was a memorable experience. The room was tidy, with comfortable beds, and the vibrant common spaces added to the lively atmosphere. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always responsive, making us feel right at home. They host events most nights, including popular activities like karaoke and movie nights, which were a great way to meet fellow travelers. The garden, bar, and cozy living room created perfect spots to unwind, while the free coffee and tea available all day were a nice bonus. Conveniently located, it’s an excellent choice for anyone looking to dive into Prague’s social scene.

My experience was excellent I would highly recommend and Noteworthy mention is the guy SULI who took our luggage for storage, helped us to find kitchen which we did not know is there. He was very helpful and benevolent. The guy needs a raise he saved our outside breakfast money😭😂

everything cute and clean enough! Exception: the floormats in the shower room were molding. I loved cuddeling the neighbour cat, eating instant noodles from the vending machine and chilling in the entrance lounge and drinking tea with almond milk. The bunk beds are very cute and private. Matresses are a lil thin. Staff was very nice and helpful! There is also a really nice 2nd hand store and nice bakeries around the corner :)

Love the place, tuesdays are awesome because of the karaoke but even better are saturdays because there’s delicious food made by Nico and Baja. The spices were on point! I’ve had multiple meals from this cooking duo and every time it was just perfect. 100% recommend!!!

I extended my stay for an extra three nights because I enjoyed my stay so much. Wonderful staff, friendly & supportive. The rooms are spacious, clean and a perfect size. The location is perfect, 2 kilometres from the city is what you want as it makes you appreciate a walk, scooter ride or public transport experience to go sightseeing. Location is filled with convenience for all your needs. They also have a lovely bar, and events like karaoke and live music, something on every night, but close at an appropriate time. I genuinely rate this as five stars and highly recommend coming here!

Yelp
I don't even know where to begin! First of all, this hostel is outside of the city center, its about a good 20-30 minute walk (depending on your walking speed) or a 5 minute tram ride which costs 24kc (less than a $1 USD) each way. The neighborhood MAY seem a little sketchy with lots....I mean LOTS of graffitis and some dark areas during the night but we NEVER felt unsafe! The hostel is super cute! It's got multiple floors (we were on the top floor, 4th) so be ready to do some climbing if you get one of the higher floors. Check in was super easy, they provide LOTS of information, maps and brochures. The common area seems to get used a lot with its comfy sofas and a big flat screen which plays movies constantly. The BAR downstairs was our favorite! My husband and I spent MANY hours down there meeting other travelers and the extremely friendly staff here! I'll come back to the staff in a bit. The drinks here are very affordable especially if you just stick to beer! The bar area is HUGE with lots of seating so there are always people hanging out here. They also have an outdoor patio area which we only used once because it was too cold (for me). Our room was the Hemingway room which has a living room (a sofa that turns into a bed as well) and a bedroom with a double bed and private bath. Since we were on the top floor, we had amazing skylight windows! Each floor seems to have its own kitchen area, which we did on our floor but didn't use it since we ate out more. They offer simple breakfast of toast, coffee and tea for 80 kc which we never took advantage of because we prefer having protein with our meals so we would just walk to a cafe that was open (ask a staff member or Yelp it to see whats open!) Back to the staff....we met soooooo many wonderful people here, both travelers and staff, that made this trip here so much more memorable! Greg, Neil, Alexis (sp?) and so many more! I can't begin to express how WONDERFUL each one of them are! Around the time we arrived, they city had a light festival going on so Neil took us on free walking tour after we spent hours at the bar with Greg. And this was just on the first night we arrived! I would absolutely recommend this to all my other traveler friends and to anyone who wants a true social hostel in an amazing city!

Yelp
Pros: -Very modern and clean. -The downstairs bar was inviting and I was glad they had an affordable breakfast in the morning and happy hour at night. -Thank god for the standing fan in our room. There's no AC but that fan was a lifesaver. Our hostel in Berlin didn't even give us a fan. -Laundry service... they do it for you and they do a good job at a fair price. -Good security -Helpful staff and fun activities Meh: -Location. 30 minutes walk to touristy areas or a five minute walk (up very steep hills) to a metro. The metro is cheap and fast. However, if you want to be in the heart of the action, stay elsewhere. Cons: -Our room, the Virginia Woolf, was near the kitchen and extremely loud at night. The walls are thin. -I didn't expect an elevator but those stairs would be tough on someone with more limited mobility. Suggestions for improvement: -The bathroom in Virginia Woolf would be so much better if you added towel hooks, a toilet paper dispenser, and a little shelf.

Yelp
I found this gem through Trip Advisor and Google. I walked in and they found a place to stay right away. This place was a heaven send. They have a atmosphere of family and love. The staff are knowledgeable and care about making sure that you love Prague the way they do. This city was special to me and Brix was a major reason for my deep love for the connection. I checked in and Lex was very welcoming and accommodating. She was willing to help out with my questions getting around the city, food, and currency exchange. The living quarters were comfortable and exceptionally clean. No matter where I am in Prague, I will be back here just to hangout and spend time with the family here. I love that people always hangout at the bar and others just sit on the couch watching Netflix shows. Highly recommend. The only downside I have is that they just gave me tooooo many recommendations for places to see :) kidding. too dope of a place
