Broad Haven South Beach is one of Pembrokeshire’s most breathtaking coastal gems — a sweeping curve of golden sand framed by rugged cliffs, dunes, and the crystal-clear waters of the Bristol Channel. It feels wonderfully untouched, a place where nature takes centre stage and every visit feels like a little escape from the world. We really enjoyed our time.

There are some places that you feel compelled to return to - as often as possible. Broad Haven South Beach is one such place.
The nearby Barafundle, the Stackpole Quay, St.Govans, the military range and OP's - it's a fabulous place to Hike. Pick a route that takes you through the Lilly Ponds. You may even spot an Otter.

This was a beautiful beach, but please be careful swimming here. If you're too close to the edges when the tide is in (past the rocks on the right) there are horrible rip currents and undertows that will pull you under or crash you onto the rocks. Not only did two of my adult friends almost get caught in it, I saw two kids being rescued that same day. It is dangerous because you don't even have to wade that far in to suddenly get into trouble.
Other than that it is a beautiful and sandy and has some nice rocks to explore and the lily ponds nearby

Lovely sandy beach. Cheap car park with snack van. Single line track drive for couple miles but not too bad. One of the top 5 in Pembrokeshire.

So beautiful. As well as the stunning little beach there are gorgeous walks in every direction.
There's ample parking in the nearby National Trust car park. Toilets are available.

We loved this beach. Had planned to go to a different beach but it was full so got redirected to here. Free to park if NT member. Large beach so didn’t feel at all crowded. Great waves for bodyboarding. Nice walk to the nearby lily ponds and there was even a little lagoon where some younger people were having a swim.

Lovely little beach dog friendly you can park near the beach which has toilets but the walk to the carpark is quite steep...or you can park at bosherston lily ponds and walk around there ending up on the beach just over a mile walk well signposted
