I ate lunch at this hotel today with my friends and it was lovely. The woman working there was so kind to us and allowed us to hang our wet jackets to dry. The atmosphere was so cozy especially on such a wet cold day. My burger was also delicious. Thanks for a wonderful lunch!

The food here is amazing. Rooms clean and comfy, and lots of character. Staff super helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay again next time we visit Skye. Followed road round back for stunning sunset views.

Awesome room. The bed, pillows and duvet were excellent and very comfy; I slept so well that it was hard to get up the next morning. If me and my husband are ever in the area again we will definitely book another night there.

My wife and I have just had dinner in the restaurant at the Broadford Hotel. 5:00pm on a wet Tuesday in November isn't going to be the busiest time but was great for us as we were literally treated to a personalised dining service. It was nice to be able to have a conversation with staff, who had the time to chat about Skye, some history and anything/everything. A lovely individual and an asset to the hotel. The food was excellent. Well presented, fresh and delicious, so no complaints there. Overall an excellent experience all round and would love to return in future.

Surrounded by amazing scenery the hotel is in an ideal spot whether you are touring the Isle or on business.|All staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. |Breakfast and dinner were of a very high standard. Plenty of choice and cooked perfectly. |As it was a very cold November, I was looking forward to sitting by roaring fires but alas they were not lit. |It felt Slightly chilly in the restaurant during our meals but other areas and rooms were warm.|Our bedroom was at the front of the hotel and was very quiet and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities and a beautiful bathroom. Plenty of drawers and hanging space. |There was no room safe or fridge.|Adjacent to the hotel is a pub which also serves food. Again a friendly place where we enjoyed a few drinks and a chat with locals.|Some areas of the hotel look a little tired and the stair carpet needs replacing but that would not stop us returning.|Overall a great place and we look forward to our next visit.

Had a two night stay while road tripping through the area. Had originally booked a double room but upon arrival inquired if a twin room might be available. I did not get names, but the young man assisting us was very accommodating and advised that although a twin room was not available, he would move us to a room with a sofa bed free of charge. All in all, we ended up in a very spacious, wonderful room. Confusion came when another staff member who had not checked us in made comments to my friend about how much more we would be charged AFTER we had already been in the room for a few hours. This was cleared up at check out, but did make us a bit anxious during our stay. I am still giving 5stars for service as the employee who initially assisted us went above and beyond and was incredibly sweet. The room was great with a very large tub, location was wonderful next to shops and good food options.

A small hotel originally built in the early 17th century and the home of Drambuie. The rooms were fine, but small. Steep stairs were required to get to our room, but the staff helped us out. Loved the location right next to the harbor of Broadford. The food was good and well prepared.

Yelp
We had a lovely stay at the Broadford. Be aware it does not have an elevator so be prepared. The room was tidy and the staff was amazing! So friendly and helpful. We also had breakfast and dinner there. The food was delicious and high quality. The bartender was very knowledgeable. The breakfast/morning staff member (I wish I gotten her name) was so nice and though she was the only staff on duty she was friendly. Definitely a great place to stay and eat when in Skye. The Co-Op is walking distance as was a pizza place for a quick bite.

Yelp
This review is for the restaurant only. After wandering around town looking for an open restaurant in the off season we saw lights on! We turned in and asked the waitress if they take walk ins. After checking with the chef she sat us in the small dining room. At first, we felt a little out of place, it appeared only those staying in the hotel were dining that night. Our drinks were good, local gin and whisky. I was pleasantly surprised by the fish and chips. It was probably one of better ones I've had. Husband got the pork fillet and he enjoyed it. Nice waitstaff came to check on us frequently and didn't treat us like we didn't belong.

Yelp
This hotel is the original home of Drambuie, where the recipe was refined. If you enjoy a wee dram, this place is worth a stop for the history alone. We had a 3 course dinner for 3 people which cost around £100 including 3 glasses of wine and 1 shot of Drambuie. So it's neither fine dining nor your local pub but a nice place in between. The Cullen skink smoked haddock soup was the highlight of the meal that also included chicken curry as a starter, grilled chicken, grilled salmon and cheesy penne for mains. Dessert was a sticky toffee pudding which was a little dry and the Drambuie cheesecake, which might have missed the actual dram. Overall, this was a very pleasant evening with a decent meal and attentive service.
