Broadway Army Store

This place is terrible terrible customer service as soon as I walked in the door and older woman Was extremely rude. I had to ask her that I’d wait for someone else to assist me as I placed an online order days before when the other employee brought me my order he sat it down in front of me, which was when I opened the bag to review the items, the woman at the front desk, attempted to take the bag away from me. I told her excuse her given that she didn’t even know why I was there and I had already prearranged appointment to pick up the uniform I left the store and saw the person who had originally placed the order with and expressed my concerns that the older woman inside of the building was extremely rude and distasteful. He then asked me if I still wanted to buy the items rudely. I told him, of course not and that I would take my business elsewhere. I would never recommend this Place to anyone I could see if they were handing uniforms out for free, but you don’t speak like that to paying customers.

Not the largest store but they got a pretty good selection. Definitely one of the good things about the store is their customer service is fantastic. Made my choice a products very easy It wasn't feeling pressured to buy stuff

The employees are very helpful and informative. They have a Great selection/variety of things to choose from. Parking is the only complaint I have but that's not Broadway Army Stores fault!

This place is amazing for all your security guard attire needs as well as Law Enforcement. Very attentive to the kind of material they get to sell to they're customers for that alone 100% legit. This is Victor from the shoreline in Long Beach by the way. You guys are awesome!

I had an excellent experience at Broadway army store. They offer a wide selection of high-quality military gear at amazing prices. The customer service was outstanding, with the staff being incredibly helpful to both me and my mom. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great deals and friendly service!

This is one of those places that you will find in the heart of LA that becomes your instant go-to for any first responder, security, hunting, etc. They have awesome prices as well as the customer service is certified A-1. Very fast and helpful. Definitely recommend!!!

Great place to buy your security guard stuff.

I am a security guard in Dtla and former Marine vet. I been coming to this place for about a year now and I can honestly say this is the best gear store in LA AREA. They have great selection of vest to pouches for my duty belt. The owner helped me pick out the plate and size I needed and kept me up to date on shipment details of my body armor. In all it was a great experience coming to this and I would highly recommend.

Baton won't close all the way and I've only used it about 4 times only . Do not recommend. Even if it's "metal " tends to break to the point the top piece of the baton fell and I'm glad I have my taser and pepper spray. If not I'd be in the hospital cause of this baton not working properly. I've also bought a baton holder and I even made sure with the sales rep but apparently he mention it was universal but do not fit on my duty belt good. Do not RECOMMEND. Best to order from Amazon or different local shop. Oh and the Grip !! It looks like a dog chewed on it when I DONT EVEN HAVE A DOG.

This place is awful terrible customer service. I placed an order over the phone almost $300 worth of clothes. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude. I had to wait for another employee to come to bring my order when I receive my order the older woman at the desk not attempted to snatch the bag from me. I asked her if I could view the clothes first and she told me I was rude. I went outside to inform the other employee that that type of behavior is unacceptable. He did absolutely nothing and said do I still want to buy the clothes of course I don't. I would never recommend this place to anybody. Take your money somewhere else.

Thank to Ruben for helping me out with my Velcro patches and getting them sowed on my shirt today! It was my first time in this store and I'm definitely coming back whenever I need any of my gear replaced, new uniforms or any uniform essentials! Came in here and had a great conversation with staff, but they failed to tell me there is a no refund policy upon check out. The items weren't usable, completely untouched and tagged with original receipts from only a few days before. Took them back and was told they get asked for refunds all day everyday and that the policy is store credit only. No sign or representation to indicate a no refund policy what so ever. So maybe that's why people ask all the time?? Dumb if you ask me. Sticking to Major Surplus in Gardena from now at least they're reasonable people.

They have a ton of stuff but is a bit overpriced. The place is super clean and the staff is great!

Rubin is a godsend! He explained everything throughly and took his time to recommended certain items for a small girl like myself. This is the place to go in a chaotic crisis! Someone give Rubin a raise after this virus dissipates!

This my favorite army shop in DTLA. I have been coming here for years. The employees in the shop are super helpful and knowledgeable. Ask for Ruben. He will help you find what you need. If they don't have what you are looking for he can order your item and mail it to you. Stop by and check out their great selection of bags, shoes, clothes and other tactical gear. You won't be disappointed!

I have been a customer at this store ever since the Rampart area Quartermaster closed. I moved away from the area several years ago. But still conduct business here. Ruben has always been very accommodating to my specific needs and wants. This is a small location. But they are huge on customer service and products. From clothes to gear. Thank u Ruben!!

If you love military or police stuff.....this is your place. I am a military aficionado and love military style shirts, sweaters, boots and jackets. All are available for sale at this place. For instance, you can buy camouflage pants and police-inspired clothing. Please note, you will not be able to official police clothing unless you have a badge or law enforcement ID. But the knock-off stuff you can buy with no questions asked. I bought a US Army and military inspired clothing for $8 bucks a piece. I also like military style sweaters (I believe the British military wear these). They had those for $40 which is a great price. They sell knives, compasses, backpacks---literally anything you need if you or your loved-ones get a kick out of military stuff. Again the prices in general were very reasonable. I also see official law-enforcement in here a lot which means they know where to shop for their gear. There is only street parking available.

Cheats and scammers . Selling products they are not suppose to sell for more than our average military exchange . Some of the products are fake made in China . Thiefs

Very clean place they have a variety of things to choose from. I came here to get some security shirts and a baton holder for my husband. The polos were $16 and were very good material my husband loved it. When looking for the baton holder the guy that was there helped me choose the correct one even showed me how the baton fit in it so I knew i was purchasing the right thing. Im definitely going to visit this place. Only downside is there is no parking its right in the heart of downtown so you gotta pay one of those parking places or look for a meter.

Wanted to get a shirt customized for my son's birthday but unfortunately I didn't have enough time to get it delivered on time , but thankfully I found this amazing place that was able to go above And beyond to get My son's Shirt made on time and exactly how I wanted it ! Thank you for making my son's birthday special! Definitely will be coming back

If you work security or use their equipment this is the perfect place to come it is a bit of a parking issue tho

I love this store. The employees are always a HUGE help and VERY nice. If they don't have what you're looking for in store at the time, they have no problem ordering it for you. I've been a customer for two years now!!!

Great service and prices!! The employees and owner were helpful and very nice. They helped me look for my size and styles I were interested in. They let me try on all the things I were interested in. The prices are awesome, especially in the used section! Some of the unbranded new items look so-so, but there were some great finds in the used section - high quality jackets actually from the army and/or brand name ones at 1/3 of their regular prices!

I called asked if they had xxl security polo shirt and the had them in stock. They pull the shirts and had the receipt ready when I walked in, Best & Quickest service ever! thanks

We needed new pepper spray for the wife. This place came up in a Yelp search so we wandered over. It is a narrow, but deep store. We easily found what we were looking for. The gentleman working was knowledgable, nice and helpful. We went in with no expectations, but left surprised and happy. Customer service is sub par at best in most places. It was nice to have someone actual take it seriously. Their prices were fair too.

Its ok, the only real saving grace was the staff was super friendly. The selection was there but didn't seem very organized. I was looking for security jackets but they had 2 or 3 different places in the store with security jackets/shirts.

My daughter is a student at a local University enrolled in the ROTC program to join the Army. She had a list of items to get for field training and went to purchase boots (she was gonna use Amazon but I told her to support a local business) The employee there showed her what boots she should get and they TOLD HER THEY WERE IN REGULATIONS for the Army. My daughter took them home and her first mistake was throw away Box. The next day she was informed by her Commander that the Boots look perfect but can't have a Zipper and they are in fact OUT of regulations contrary to the employees word. My daughter called the store and was told "sure bring them in we will return them". When she arrived she was told sorry can't take them back because you wore them we can see a scuff on bottom (I hairline mark on the rubber sole after she tried walking in them) ...So now my daughter is out $120.. So moral of the story 1 She made 2 mistakes...Trusting a 3rd party company to tell her Army Regulations and 2 Assuming that they would actually follow through with returning them. After hours back and forth wasted I told her forget just order them on Amazon. I hate using them over local stores but if the local business is gonna give faulty information on Regulations then not follow through with a return they don't nee our Business. I agree my Daughter made a mistake but she just wanted to exchange for in Regulation shoes. Please inform your employees to not disclose Army regulations. Also I will recommend to the commander that fellow local soldiers do the same and order somewhere else .

No refund. Don't even try anything or wear it. As far as you wear one time. 1 minute. Then. You can NOT exchange it. However the server is really good when you going to purchase. And then you fucked up

"Bad Experience" The sold my elderly father poor quality military looking binoculars. Brand was "Twin Star 30x60 camouflage green" . from my first look at them I could tell they are $25 dollar value china made. My dad paid $65. To top it off I'm not sure if they sold them broken or if they just broke from poor quality. in the first use had a rattle inside "Never Dropped". Tried returning them they said they would get them fixed. When I returned to pick them up they said they had fixed them. Turns out they lied. the collimation was now off (double vision) or they have a very poor repair man. Their remark now was "You can' t return them now because they have been repaired and are no longer new!""You should have paid better attention when you bought them" I just took it as a loss rather than argue. Over the year we had purchased 6 different military shoulder bags from them "they would repair any rips that developed" I thought we were valued customers! Turns out we were not.
