Decided it was too hot to cook at home, so back again and not disappointed! Bartender Casey (sp?? Sorry if I'm off) was awesome! Super friendly and talkative. Menu is simple and good. Chicken fingers and fries, both obviously not frozen and handmade. Carolina sauce👍 Broadway sauce FANTASTIC!!

With the advantage of a sneak peek via soft opening I get to be the first to review here. The problem is I can only give 5 stars and the place deserves 6. This is going to be the classy, cozy, charming cousin to Bayside Bowl. The vibe and styling is unique and inviting. Variety of spaces including large outdoor deck area with weather flap winter windows and heat lamps above. This will be incredible year round. The lanes are pristine and ready for real deal bowling. The bar is large. Space flows great. Kitchen is for real - first food out was amazing. So exciting to see Broadway Bowl launch!

My favorite neighborhood spot! What a great addition to SoPo. We come here for bowling, trivia, watching the Celtics, beers with friends… It’s a giant space, but they make really good use of it. I love the staff so much, and their playlist is always on point.

Fun, clean & well managed bowling alley with kind and helpful/fun staff, tasty bar food including wings and chicken fingers with really good sauces. Appears to be relatively new and lacks the grit of the bowling alleys of old. Would return for sure.

A great place for families and groups! Bowling, bar, lounge area, outdoor patio - there’s a spot for everyone! Super friendly and helpful staff, drink menu full of local beers, great food. Plenty of parking & just over the bridge from Portland.

Broadway Bowl is a fun place to go with family and friends. There is table service at the lanes and a full bar. One word of caution the bowling lane is very slippery. Stepping over the baseline could result in a fall.

Yelp
I had not been to Broadway Bowl since they opened (despite living 5 mins away) but it was worth the wait! There is plenty of parking outside and it's located in a super easy spot to find right on Broadway in South Portland. When you walk in, you can head to the counter on the left for bowling or seat yourself in the ample dining space or at the bar! My mom and I went on a Saturday evening around 5pm where there was already a 2 hour wait for bowling. They only have 10 lanes and reservations take priority. We decided to wait and grab some drinks and food while we waited. Although the menu is not super large, there is variety and it is mostly pub food. They had some awesome cocktails. We talked with the bar manager who makes the basil syrup for their green belt drink weekly so it's fresh. I had their citizen cider on tap which was crisp, delicious, and refreshing. We got the nachos and added chicken and guacamole (I mean c'mon you have to). They were excellent. The toppings covered all of the chips which is always nice. We also split the turkey club which came with fries and the golden bbq sauce on the side which was to die for. The sandwich was delicious and the fries were crispy and golden. Our service was incredible. We opened a tab and headed over to bowl once we waited 2 hours for our lane. Bowling is $40/hr and shoes are $5/per person. We paid for bowling and continued drinking on our tab while bowling. We got 4 games in during the hour duration. It was so fun! The shoes, balls, and lanes were all in good condition. I would 100% come back. I will definitely be coming back with friends next time!

Yelp
Before visiting Broadway Bowl, a friend of mine told me - you've been to bowling alleys with a bar in it. This is a bar with a bowling alley in it. After the experience, I totally agree. Where Broadway Bowl shines is with their food and cocktails. The whole bar/restaurant side is lively, warm, and generally all the atmosphere you would need. The bowling side needs a little work. When we came on a Friday evening, there was a quoted 15 - 20 min wait for a lane. Totally reasonable, so we visited the bar in the meantime. Ordered a couple of seasonal cocktails that were dynamite - one of them a smokey Mezcal concoction and the other one a Peppermint Espresso Martini (how could you go wrong?) We also snagged a plate of nachos and some of their house wings. The wings were perfectly serviceable with some fun sauce options on the side. The nachos, though, were out of this world. The make their own tortilla chips and season them perfectly. They come fully loaded with salsa, sour cream, jalapenos, cheese, and diced bell peppers and onions, which is a welcome addition and makes these some of the most flavorful nachos I've had in the area. The bartender was super helpful and friendly, even though they were really busy. Once we got to the lane, though, the service was not great. Our server kept dodging us and it was awkward ordering drinks or settling up our tab. Also, you pay by the hour for a lane here, and if something goes wrong with the lane, they don't stop the clock. So we lost nearly 10 minutes when our lane needed resetting but never got that time or money back. Overall, I would totally come back here for the food and drinks, just maybe not to bowl.

Yelp
New name for the 5th time since I worked in this neighborhood. Best food of all of em! I had the cheeseburger and tots today on National Cheeseburger Day and it was bomb. The tots were so crisp. Imagine crispy tots, then double the crispness. Good vibe--good beers--good bowling, if you're into that that sort of thing.

Yelp
Broadway Bowl is a fantastic mini Bayside Bowl! The lanes offer a perfect balance for both casual fun and serious competition, with well maintained surfaces. We ordered wings, a smash burger with some spicy pickles, and of course the tots, all of which were top notch. Plus, we're excited to return and try out the outdoor seating. See you soon Broadway Bowl!

Yelp
We've ridden our bikes behind this place several times on the Eastern Trail. It used to be a sea dogs place. When we decided to go bowling we had no idea it was the same place. Outside has all been redone and inside was pristine. Lane-side bar and food service was awesome, attentive, great prices on drafts, and created a fun atmosphere. Best bowling experience I've ever had .

Yelp
This place is a LOT better than Eazy Day or Sea Dog. I'm not here to bowl, I live nearby so I drop in occasionally for a couple beers and a quick bite. They have a good draft list and good pub food. The bartenders are cool and can handle when the lanes get busy, something that couldn't be said for Sea Dog, who would basically freak when things got busy.
