After seeing our show we came to BL for dinner. I made a reservation which I dont think were necessary. The food was delicious, the drinks were broadway themed (so cool) and the views were good. I wish we had a table closer to the windows as requested, but there was enough room to get up and check them out. I works suggest this restaurant to anyone who is coming to the city for a Broadway show.

Google
The best dining experience we have had visiting New York. The view, the service, the food; 10, 10, 10!! Maria made the night unforgettable, but the whole crew was amazing. Worth every penny! You have to try the tomato soup

We came here for my 21st Birthday celebrations as part of my first ever trip to New York/The States. Our meal here was nothing short of exceptional. The food was delightful and, while on the pricier side, is well worth every penny. However, it was the service that made our whole experience. Ruth, our server, was so lovely and hospitable to us, regularly checking in and giving her insight to help us get the best meal we could, with a playful charisma and banter! She truly made it a wonderful, exceptional experience!! To anyone in NYC: if you are looking for a lovely meal with an amazing view. Swing by the Marriott. You will not regret it!!

What an amazing experience to dine with a view of Times Square! The extra $25 for the seating was absolutely worth it. The atmosphere had a great vibe, and the seating was incredibly comfortable. The service was both friendly and impressively fast—our food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. The drinks were fantastic, and the food was delicious. Plus, the lounge's convenient location on the 8th floor of the hotel made it easy to enjoy this perfect evening.

Wow! Talk about a perfect night out! I came here last night with my best friend for a pre-theater meal to celebrate her birthday. We had a little difficulty finding the restaurant but we soon found out it was on the 8th floor of the Marriott Marquis Hotel. The hostess that sat us was very polite and we were stoked when we saw the view we had from our table! It felt like we were on TRL! We shared the mussels, baked Mac n cheese and short rib. LORDY was everything delicious!! The mussels were in this super creamy curry broth that was so scrumptious that we ordered the focaccia appetizer just so we had something to sop up all that yummy goodness! The baked Mac and cheese was seasoned beautifully with delicious breadcrumbs and the short rib just fell off the bone! We then ordered the special ice cream sundae and once again we were blown away by how amazing everything tasted. This thing had mini crème brulé cheesecakes sitting on top of strawberry shortcake...you would think we didn't have any room left in our stomachs, but we made sure not to waste a bite! Our server James and all the support staff were incredibly kind and helpful. James even gave my friend a special take-home dessert, free of charge, for her birthday. It's that attention to detail I really appreciate in a dining experience. I will 1000% be back and will sing this restaurant's praises to everyone I know!

It’s not for the first time I’m visiting Broadway Lounge, for its amazing views and atmosphere. But this time I was disappointed with the food. The mussels in carry were not done well. The salad was ordinary. The steak was good prepared, but nothing special.

Broadway Lounge: A Flavorful Bite of New York Ventured into Broadway Lounge, right off Times Square, and it’s a spot you’ll want to check out. Getting our order in was quick, though the food took its sweet time arriving. But let me tell you, the flavors made the wait worthwhile. We were short on time, so we opted for bites rather than a full meal. The burger? Absolutely glorious. And the cocktails struck that perfect balance where the alcohol doesn’t hijack the taste. Now, the view – it’s a showstopper. Next time, I’d call ahead for a window seat to truly take in Times Square’s vibrant scenes; their view is unmatched. A quick tip: Parking is pricey, especially if you’re driving something big. We paid a steep $90 for our Escalade! Better to park a bit away and hop on the metro. Save those bucks for some classic ‘I Love NY’ tees.

With the most amazing views of Time Square and an impressive large and tall dining room, this restaurant will take your breath away as you walk in. You can feel completely mesmerized as is hard to take away your sight from this beautiful place. I wish I could say the same about the food and service. We ordered a pizza that was recommended by the waiter, my son just wanted a caesar salad, and I ordered a steak that came with fries. The food arrived at different times and the salad was the last to come. It was very soggy so we had to replace it for their mac and cheese which also took another while. The pizza was actually decent but the steak had no flavor and the quality wasn’t great. I had also ordered a glass if wine that I got about 20-25 min after I requested it. Earlier the same day, we had sat by the outdoor terrace to have a drink and the service was much better and faster. I truly hope this was just a bad day and waiter experience. But the views…

Yelp
My friend and I dined at the Broadway lounge after seeing a show. The food and service was impeccable. However, the host Esmeralda was very rude and unprofessional. She was the first point of contact and she definitely did not represent the rest of the staff. Thanks to our server for being so kind, warm, and attentive which made our dining experience enjoyable.

Yelp
Took the teen here after 15 years, and they "kinda" remembered the view. It's on the backside of the 8th floor. We asked the hostess for a window seat, and got it! Thank you! Ruth gave us great service. The Old Fashioned wasn't bad, but had a bit more ice than I like, but good. The Foaccicia bread was outstanding. But the real reason to stay is the view. You just can't get that view of Broadway anywhere else. It's a keeper. Soak those lights & billboards up.

Yelp
Broadway Lounge & Revel & Rye are literally right next to each other. We opted for Broadway since R&R's bar tops were full. My usual go-to drinks are typically Espresso Martini, Cab or Old fashions. I decided to try something new ..since we were in NY for my birthday....& it was the most disgusting thing I've ever tried..lol. Service is quick..however the chairs..boy does it sit pretty low. Better ask for some help when you need to get back up, lol. Make sure you ask for a table by the window. Unfortunately their terrace was closed - it would've been a great place for dinner w/ a sunset view or just the city itself.

Yelp
Food was amazing! I have been to broadway lounge a few times over the past couple of years. The location is so convenient and the staff are super friendly. Had a 7pm reservation but they allowed us to go in at 6pm ( the time I thought our reservation was). Food was great, it was my first time trying their pasta and it definitely did not disappoint. Drinks are always amazing too. What's special about this lounge is you don't need to be super dress to go. NYC is full of restaurants that you have to be dressed to impressed to dine in. I wore jeans and fit in perfectly. If you are in time square or near broadway definitely come here and see the views too. Price point is a plus also mostly under $30 a dish. Hope you enjoy too if you're visiting!

Yelp
If you want to have a great view of Times Square with exemplary service, this is your place. Conveniently located near the Marquis theater. Comfortable seats as well.
google avatar

Brena E.

Yelp
I came here twice as it was very convenient to the theaters. I just sat at the bar and it was good service. The first night I had the grilled cheese ($81 plus tip with cocktail and large wine) which was a little crunchy for my taste. They did let me substitute fries for tomato soup which was nice. The second night I also had the short rib (with cocktail and large wine it was $95 plus tip) which was good. It was a little chilly at part of the bar with the air conditioning blowing right on the seats.

Yelp
Nestled in the heart of Times Square on the 8th floor of the Marriott, Broadway Lounge gives you the NY restaurant trifecta of views, excellent service and ambience, and amazing food. We went there to celebrate my sister's birthday and the entire group of 10 was very pleased with the food and drinks we had, and even my sister who is a strict vegan had multiple options to choose from.
google avatar

Ronald K.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and better views from above, which sure the heck beats the smells, garbage and utter trash which Times Square has become. Don't pass on the Winter Greens Salad! It will warm your stomach and soul. Stay as long as you can before you need to fight your way to a theater (or better yet, see the show at the Marquis so you never need to leave).

Yelp
10 out of 10 I attended the 5pm Bubbles and Bubbly event over broadway. The weather was perfect and the scenery was perfect. You can see all the lights and screens from the area. They have a special menu that consists of cute cocktails and themes. I had the steak and fries and it was delicious. The expresso martini and bubbly with popsicle drinks was cute and fun. If you are attending a broadway show it's a 5 min walk to the theater. The staff is helpful with directions and menu items. We met a great waiter who took our pictures too. They have seating for groups up to 6 which is perfect for girl friends. If you are going to New York you should go have dinner and catch a show

Yelp
The restaurant is conveniently located in the Marriott Marquis hotel in Times Square. We were seeing a show in the Marquis theater so we had dinner here beforehand, which was perfect! The restaurant is beautiful! The room is lined with large windows giving you a nice view of Times Square. The menu itself was very pricey, but no surprises there. This is a touristy area. I had the bolognese and though I wouldn't say it was worth $30, it was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant because it is so convenient to broadway shows inside the hotel.

Yelp
Celebrating my birthday on a Sunday evening after seeing Wicked. We had a reservation which was guaranteed for indoors but the Perch is first come, first serve and that's where I wanted to be was outdoors. Got lucky and a table was clearing just as we walked up. The view is awesome! Our waitress was super nice and upon hearing it was my birthday brought out a dessert with a candle after we finished our meals. Lots of pizza at our table and I had the grill cheese which was super yummy. Restrooms inside were huge too which is always a plus in Manhattan. Expensive but what in NYC isn't?! Would definitely return.

Yelp
The best view of Times Square. Service was friendly and attentive and the food was surprisingly good. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the drinks were amazing. Met a friendly couple, enjoyed the conversation and ambiance. A must visit at Time Square.
google avatar

Anthony S.

Yelp
Cute spot. A bit pricey. Service wasn't amazing but I was in a rush to make a show. Food was delicious. Really have to be against the window for any kind of view.
google avatar

AJ L.

Yelp
Very lounge vibes, it is in the hotel and the ambiance is nice and so is the view. Food was delicious, service was a little slow despite there not being that many people there. But all and all would probably come here again.
google avatar

Mercedes L.

Yelp
Dined at the Broadway Lounge last night; to me the it was more of enjoying the view. Service was excellent, our server was very nice and accommodating since we had tickets for a show. The food was nothing special, their theme is a tribute to NYC: hamburgers, sandwiches, etc. I had the Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup, it was delish, my husband had the Mac & Cheese , our friends had a burger and a panini. For dessert we had Tiramisu and chocolate cake. Beverages: regular/diet soda, coffee and nonalcoholic "Amaretti" drink The window table will cost you $25, worthy
google avatar

Navatnie E.

Yelp
The ambiance was the only good thing about this place. The views were amazing but not the cost of terrible food. We arrived at 8:45 and even though it wasn't busy we still waited 20 minutes before anyone came over to take even our drink orders. Then we immediately ordered a pizza. The pizza only came out after waiting another 40 minutes, and flagging down the waiter. Meanwhile other guests who arrived some time after us had received their pizza already. The pizza then came out cold and hard as a rock. After informing the waiter he told the manager and they brought us a new pizza 20 minutes later. Once again this pizza was bad. Since the manager never checked in with us I then went up to the manager myself to inform him how bad our experience was and how bad the pizza was for a 2nd time. He seemed to not care and said he would let the staff know while barely paying any attention to me or what I was saying. Paid over a hundred dollars for cold and hard pizza we didn't even eat and couldn't even get an acknowledgment or an apology. Save the trouble and go to a 99cent pizza place for a better experience and service.

Yelp
From the moment we were greeted by Alba, we had a wonderful time in this iconic room. The view up and down Broadway is note worthy. Ony was our server and she ensured we had a memorable time in all the best ways. She was outstanding. The food and cocktails were delicious! We ate the chicken app and could have eaten two of them. Great experience!

Yelp
Brought my mom to this restaurant after we saw The Wiz on Mother's Day. We were so excited to be seated right away. My mom is in a wheelchair and the staff was able to seat us as close to the windows as we could get. Lucky for us we beat the crowd. Our food came out so quickly. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. Your waitress was amazing and patient. They kept our water and Diet Coke refilled without prompting. We left a huge tip for our server who was so good at her job. I highly recommend this restaurant.
google avatar

Jonathan K.

Yelp
Average food, which is disappointing considering the prices & Times Square location. Smallish burger with a too-large bun. The fries were very good but that's not enough to save the meal. Underwhelming, overpriced drinks: for $21 plus tax & tip the margarita should absolutely rock. It didn't. Service overall was attentive & friendly with drinks refilled often, however it took nearly an hour for simple burgers to come out. I felt sorry for our server as the issue seemed to be with the kitchen, not him. Yes the decor & view are great however the underperforming food & drinks are just not acceptable.
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in for dinner before seeing a close by show. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, with great views of Times Square. While prices were a little bit on the higher side, the quality of the food was worth it in my opinion. I ordered the Scallops and Risotto - the scallops had a perfect sear in them, and the flavor in the risotto was very delicious. My husband got the Steak and Fries - the steak was cooked as requested, and the fries were well seasoned. Perhaps my favorite item of the evening was the cheesecake. I've been looking for the best cheesecake during my travels to NYC, and I think so far this is the winner! So creamy and fluffy, with a perfectly baked crust. Will definitely consider coming back in the future!

Nicole A.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting this restaurant since The View has been closed. We were greeted and sat pretty quickly. The host, Alba, sat my party down at a table that was very uncomfortable given the fact that my husband was in a wheelchair. Our server, Ony, immediately noticed the discomfort and moved us to another table. This is what I consider HOSPITALITY! She was attentive, caring and went above and beyond. The table behind us was also impressed by her amazing service. For an extremely busy Sunday night, she took great care of us. She is the only reason we will return in December!!

Audra S.

Yelp
The food was good, but the service was amazing. My family stayed at the Marriott Marquis for 6 nights, and had Kervin each nice for service. He was so attentive, positive and always had a smile on his face. You can tell he loves what he does. Super friendly and great server. He recommended the cheesecake to us with brulee finish, berries and a raspberry sauce. Was easily the best cheesecake we had our entire trip. Overall great restaurant and top tier service thanks to Kervin!
google avatar

Dannielle K.

Yelp
Amazing food, the cocktails were well crafted and consistent. Our server Kervin was the BEST! He was so attentive and friendly, and really made our experience one to remember. The view is absolutely breathtaking , you are centered in the heart of Times Square and I recommend going in the evening to really appreciate the beauty of times square at night. 10/10 from the moment we were greeted by the host who was very welcoming I knew that we would have a great time.
google avatar

Mickey C.

Yelp
So fast I could not believe it! We ordered a chicken sandwich and a burger and it was out in less than 5 minutes. The food was fresh and hot too. The taste was great and you cannot beat the view. The price is a bit high, but worth it for the view.

Ashley H.

Yelp
I would like to say this place was pretty good! The food was honestly not bad! It was pretty good The service was also really good and the servers were really nice to us. The place was really fancy and I really liked the view we got when we sat down. This place is very good and I do recommended going here.
google avatar

Lesly R.

Yelp
The service was amazing, I stop for a quick bite got the margarita pizza and a blue moon. I will definitely be returning here once again.
google avatar

Meredith C.

Yelp
We came here for dessert and it was delicious. How can you go wrong with chocolate ice cream? It was a nice presentation with the tiramisu where the server poured the sauce over the shell (for lack of a better word) and created a sort of molten cake re-enactment. But what really stole the show was the view. Floor to ceiling windows overlooking Times Square was quite a treat. We would recommend this place any time of day/night with that view!
google avatar

Kat V.

Yelp
Decent service and a great view along with a really good redesign. We loved what they did with the design. So much more beautiful than the Broadway Lounge we visited on our last trip. We look forward to many more nights spent there after shows.
google avatar

Maria S.

Yelp
The food is okay! But it's REALLY hard to find. It's technically 3 different restaurants but they use the same dining space. If they had better directions, it would have been a much easier location to find
google avatar

Alip N.

Yelp
It's a superb ambiance with great view of Times Square from 8th floor. It's perfect for taking your family and our son was totally hooked onto it. Food as others reviews say is decent. The servers are really friendly and even offered the little one complimentary drink. We recommend it.

Jaime M.

Yelp
Kicked off the night with incredible service by Violeta. Couldn't have asked for a better table or a better view. The food only improved our time at the Broadway Lounge and we left with an experience we'll never forget!
google avatar

Caleb W.

Yelp
A bit difficult to find, but a nice little place above Times Square. Food was good - not great, but the service was great and the view overlooking Times Square was very nice. I got the steak n frites while my wife got the baked chicken. My food was much better than hers. Nice experience and atmosphere just not the best of food.
google avatar

Cynthia Z.

Yelp
Beautiful lounge. We came here this Saturday evening for a drink before the Broadway show and we got lost. This place is actually located at West 46th Street, between Broadway and 8th Ave. The entrance is inside the Marriott parking lot, towards the Broadway side. Once you enter the hotel, you take the elevator up to 8th floor and this place is labeled as Revel & Rye Bar & Restaurant. Royal Nuyorican - It was good. It came with Bacardi rum, lime juice, simple syrup, and French mint. Big Apple-Tini - If you like sweet drinks, this is the drink to go. It came with Tito's vodka, apple brandy, apple juice, cinnamon syrup, and lemon juice.
google avatar

Alli C.

Yelp
Made reservations to specially try the Beetlejuice cocktail, but they were out of one of the ingredients. Instead had champagne, which was a very liberal pour. Great view with seats overlooking time square. I'd probably not return because there are so many other places with great drinks.

Joshua K.

Yelp
Cool atmosphere, but food is average. In NYC, this restaurant doesn't know how to make a good pizza. Not to mention you'll pay big money just to leave hungry. Skip and grab street food.
google avatar

Sean C.

Yelp
This place has spectacular views of Times Square and is spacious enough to accommodate small and large groups by the windows. They have an excellent drink menu that spans many different tastes along with a full bar to ensure you can have anything you like. We went after seeing a show, so the place was pretty packed, but we were still able to get a window seat overlooking the action without waiting. Also, even with the business, our service was very prompt and he kept checking back to ensure we didn't need refills or additional food. I really enjoyed the homemade chips with the french onion spread. I'm not sure how they make this so tasty and perfect, but it is. I could have taken a to-go box and eaten it for days. If you are stopping by for an after-theatre drink, it is a perfect location to wind down. I can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Kristy R.

Yelp
This is the perfect rooftop-ish lounge with an amazing view that is so easy to get into! I'm glad I read the Yelp reviews online! We visited the Marriott Marquis 8 floor to enjoy apps and drinks! It took a hot second to figure out the elevators which I'm sure was user error LOL We were lucky enough to pick seats right on the window side of the lounge. There were plenty of open seats to pick from. Drinks are the usual Manhattan cost but I have to tell you the view was at 100% worth our bill! I will definitely come back and I highly recommend. Especially since kids are welcome, our 16-year-old loved it just as much!
google avatar

Robby D.

Yelp
This is on the 8th floor of the Marriott Marquis and views are of Times Square. It's very spacious and the staff is extremely friendly. I got the brisket pizza and highly recommend. It was delicious. 2 people could split it. It's was rather large.
google avatar

Joan L.

Yelp
Super pricey ...but a nice spot for a drink if you are staying here. If the outside patio is open I recommend grabbing a spot above the chaos of Times Square and enjoying a drink. We had $30 food and bev credit so we would stop by nightly during our stay.

Elizabeth H.

Yelp
KAZi His service was impeccable He is Good for the Public a Wonderful person He knows how to Greet the public
google avatar

Dalvin D.

Yelp
The views of times sq are great drinks a bit pricey didn't stay long just went to pick up food
google avatar

Alexandra B.

Yelp
The 8th floor terrace is perfect looking over Times Square! Enjoyed a Broadway Breeze and Flatbread before taking in Tootsie the Musical this evening! Pricing is on par with NYC and service was excellent even outside on the patio! The view is pretty great, still low enough to take in the costumes and transformers on Broadway while enjoying a beverage! Definitely plan to return next time I'm in the city and the weather is nice. Indoor is fine but really love the terrace!

Yelp
Stayed at the Marriot Marquis for work and needed a quick bite so came to the Broadway Lounge. The menu isn't huge and has all the usual suspects of a bar menu. I love sitting at the bar anywhere because the service is always prompt. I will say here it was especially great service. The gentleman behind the bar was attentive and friendly. He made our experience nice. For food we started with the grandma flatbread and wings. The flatbread was thin and light. The meatballs on top were a nice touch. It wasnt a groundbreaking dish but hit the spot. The wings were breaded and man were they spicy. My friend did like them though. The burger was pretty solid as well. The meat was cooked perfectly and the combination of ingredients worked. It gets crowded here fyi so come early for a seat at the bar. It is like grand central station in here. If you like the hustle and bustle of it all come by. If you are looking for a more relaxed environment go somewhere else.
google avatar

Jody T.

Yelp
Great place to relax and have a meal or just a drink. The food was excellent, I ate here upon my arrival and the buffet was surprisingly very good. The salads, of all things, were stellar. Cocktails tasted delicious. Views were stunning.

Claudia P.

Yelp
Food was decent. Server was unethical rude! and ones we were serve with our entrees he never came back to check on us. Disappointed for such a nice hotel in time square.

Mira C.

Yelp
Not sure if this and Revel & Rye is the same thing, both are in Marriott Marquis and seem to occupy the same space. Revel & Rye doesn't show up on here so I'm making the assumption. We are staying at the hotel and have been sitting at the bar for the last few nights. The drinks are wonderful, the food is outstanding. The only reason I'm not going to give it 5 stars is that we watched a lot of the football games here and the TVs at the bar are terrible quality and it's the only bar at the hotel that's opened so this is kind of important if you want to have a drink and watch the game. If you go, sit at the bar and ask for Matt. He's made a lot of great recommendations for us. Edited to add for our last two nights we have had Ross as our bartender who has been just as wonderful at recommendations and making drinks as Matt. We also spoke with Mariah a lot at the hostess stand, she was super helpful!
google avatar

Ron Q.

Yelp
Service was not that great after our server realized we were ordering just drinks and appetizers. Never came back to see if we needed refills or other drinks. Host never smiled the 2 different nights we were there. Asking to sit closer to the window for the view made her upset for some reason. Being a Customer Service trainer myself the number one rule is to Smile!! It's free to do so!!!

F B.

Yelp
Had dinner there twice in one week! Salmon the first time. Presentation, taste and even temperature were perfect. Went to Becco the next night and was so disappointed that the following night went back to Broadway Lounge. That evening, the seared scallops were off the chart! It is unusual for me to eat in the hotel but this was excellent. My compliments to Chef Morgan!
