Absolutely lovely motel designed for everybody's different needs.. Definitely be coming back .. Beautiful rooms extremely clean . Very kind helpful and friendly staff.. Lovely quiet private for adults.. Family space was amazingly set up for children ..

Second time we stayed here. |Owners are wonderful and extremely helpful|The rooms are so clean, everything is cleaned so thoroughly |Internet WiFi |Free parking|Great location with cafes, bars, and restaurants close by|20 minute drive to Hobbiton|Swimming pool is very clean even in the middle of winter||There isn't a single bad thing I can say about this place. ||I asked the owner about the renovations and the rooms were seemingly newer than our last stay and he says that he is constantly renovating and keeping things up to date. Nice to see money goes back into the business, and it really shows.

I say here at least once a month and it is a home away from home. Lovely owners, gorgeous gardens and always clean and tidy. Recommend!

Broadway Motel was quiet, clean, and comfortable. We were in easy walking distance to restaurants. Staff was kind and efficient.

This was a perfect stay with some amazing little touches that truly made it a great find! Lovely hosts who are so welcoming and can't do enough for you. The room was clean, spacious and the kitchen was well kitted out with everything we needed to prepare something to eat. There was a hot tub, which would have been a great addition to our stay but we sadly ran out of time. Would definitely return and will recommend to any friends/family staying near/near Matamata.

What a great surprise - looks just like an ordinary motel when entering - but when we saw our room, we were thrilled. We had one of the superior units (No. 4) and it was huge. Two queen size beds, very big room that was decorated beautifully. Felt like a real home away from home. We didn't have kids with us, but if my grandson was there, he'd never want to leave. Huge kids playground with lots of little bikes and scooters. Nice looking pool too. Caravan just across the road with very nice thai food -o they even brought it to our room ! Would definitely stay here again. Bit of road noise, and tiny shower, but the plusses outweigh the minuses !

We have a nice if short stay here prior to a Hobbiton tour. The hot tub was nicely kept, the play area was fun for my boys, and the room was nicely appointed. The staff was pleasant and let us leave our luggage for a while during the tour. Great option for the area.

We are on our way to the evening tour plus dinner in Hobbiton. We found this motel to stay the night, since we are going to continue to Rotorua tomorrow. This motel is super clean. The beddings are nice, the beds very comfy. Decors are modern and so nice! Lightings generously brights. All is good here. Worth the money I paid. NZ $140 a night for 2 beds room fit 4 people. Close to eateries and cafes.
