Broby Gästgivaregård

We chose this hotel as a sleepover stop for our business trip in Sweden. It must be quite busy in holiday season time, but in November in the middle of the week there were not so many guests. Anyway, hotel made an impression of very well kept, rooms were clean and spacious, no thrills but pleasant. Number of old-time furniture adds to charm of the hotel. Hotel is located almost in the city center, so location is another advantage. A recommended option both for bypass travelers and Sunne destination

We stayed here one night. Staff was very friendly. Even though the building, corridor and rooms has a quite plain style, we left with the impression that the hotel is run by people who care about the place. There are little touches here and there that add up to a good quality experience. Our bathroom was spatious (we stayed in a room titled 'Mårbacka' in second floor) and the overall size of our room was nice. We payed 1200 SEK for this which we found to be reasonable (without knowing/checking other prices in this region). Good wifi speed. The best thing here is the breakfast, which is a good treat.

This is a low key and very nice Inn in Sunne Värmland. Clean rooms in a quiet street and nice staff. Good value for money as the breakfast is very recommendable. Sunne is a nice summerplace as the sea Fryken is only 15 min walk away. Good for swimming.

Very nice and superb food with a HUGH breakfast buffet that is hard to top. |The staff extremely friendly. |However the owner is too rigid and not flexible at all, even with 20h advanced info they were not able to change ANYTHING on the menu: the result: same menu EVERY DAY....

Very well maintained cute little establishment, people that work here are very attentive ,smiling and nice to talk to. Buffet dinner and breakfast with not a lot of options, however everything was delicious! Would choose this place over some 4 star hotels (aka Elite Stora Hotellet in Örebro that was horrible). The cake was really great also! Would gladly come back!

We had dinner at Broby gästgivaregård twice while we were staying in Sunne in 2018. They served good food for a very good price. We can recommend this restaurant and its professional staff if you ever go to Sunne.

- Breakfast offerings and consistency needs to be improved - e.g no hot dish or bacon, no real butter, bread missing/no supply, fruit very limited/insufficient, no danish pastry. Also poor display/presentation of the breakfast.||||+ Welcoming check-in and convenient car parking.

WE ended up here after booking another b&b which was not what we were looking for so we drove on to Sunne and found this place. THe room was comfortable, clean and nice BUT there was some scary pictures on the wall of and opera? Strange!!! Walkin distance to some nice resturants but they have their own on site. Brilliant breakfast with lots of choice :-) Good off road parking round the back as well.
