came to Lund to visit the cathedral, and this bakery popped up on the map. as i was on a quest to try and compare all cardamom rolls this trip, i decided to give them a try and i was not disappointed! very tasty, not too sweet, good dough (well baked!). i also took a cinnamon bun and a cookie - equally delicious, though the cookie was quite greasy. do pay them a visit!

Broder Jakobs is without a doubt the best place in town. The atmosphere is simple and unpretentious, yet the food is outstanding, made with excellent ingredients. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up eating there twice a day during my stay 😀

The best cardamom bun that I’ve had! Extremely fresh and flavorful. The other pastry that i don't know its name was also super nice with a buttery vanilla/custard inside.

I tried the wheat bun with vanilla custard cream filling. The bun itself didn’t have too much flavor so the sugar coating on top was a nice addition. The vanilla custard is also not too sweet and tastes different from what you get in the states. I personally would not order this pastry item again, but would try some of their other pastries which look delicious.

A lovely place in central Lund. Both bakery and cafe for breakfast, lunch or a Swedish Fika. If you come early in the morning you might have to wait in line for awhile, but it’s worth it. There is outdoor seating in the back. It’s pretty small and cosy. Their cinnamom and cardamom rolls are delicious!

I love this place and often invite my guests to have a breakfast here. The sandwiches, and baked everything is delicious here. They bake their own yummy bread. Coffee is also nice. You can sit inside and during summer also outside and in the back yard. Service is good and atmosphere is also nice. You can see mostly students here and often also tourists.

A must-visit spot in Lund! Their cinnamon buns are amazing — soft, rich, and full of flavor. Tons of delicious pastries to choose from, plus great coffee. Cozy place with friendly staff. Don’t miss it!

As a French, bakeries are my domain of expertise and this one is really good :) Fresh bread, tasty, the desserts are also delicious and varied!!! Loved being there 🥰😋

When I asked local students the best place to find cardamom buns, they didn't hesitate--Broder Jakobs was the top of the list. They were right, too. These were so good that I had to take one of the cream and marzipan buns home for later. Don't expect a wide variety of baked goods as there were only three on offer (but stacks and stacks of those). There's a full hot drinks menu as well but a bit pricy for me. The plain cardamom bun was 26 kr and the stuffed on 48 kr. Lots of atmospheric seating, lots of people wanting to sit--be prepared to wait if you want to sit in. Worth it, though!
