"We’ve been ordering a lot of Brodo, the bone broth, which Evelyn discovered. Brodo is a godsend. I love Brodo."

Great name, wonderful owner (I got lucky, and I talk more than a game show host on a quad ristretto) and a solid concept. I suspect the owner has profit expectations that are not aligned with getting my 5*. The broth is weak (add water, less cost) and the prices are extreme. Two 300ml and one 480ml broth plus 2 slices of toast usd$45. That's a steep light lunch for 2. The flavourings are good; really good. But at best, this is a flavoursome drink. It's true that broth is not consomme. It's not designed to carry the full origin flavour alone. But then the price should reflect that. This is a bone intensive product, and that's why these concepts are as uncommon as licorice shops (except in Norway, where both are plentiful). But it's not for us to solve these issues. We're just the crazies that want more for less. He's selling in wholefoods, who screw their suppliers like coal mining kiddies in 19th century Scotland. So I'm guessing there's room to move on either the price or the intensity....

Stumbled upon this place during vacation in New York. Brodo's bone broth is like an elixer for travellers. Bone broth has so many health benefits and great for the gut. Helped alleviate any digestive issues I had that day. Also great for all kinds of lifestyles including Paleo, Keto, low carb, etc. Overall, service was quick and the broth was flavourful and hit the spot. Highly recommend for everyone, especially travellers.

Brodo's broths make me happy. They are delicious and nourishing. I live this location on Hudson St. As they also serve food. Today I just got a simple small cup of hot chicken broth to sip on.

Their chicken broth doesn't even taste like meat. It's like they boiled whole wheat bread in water and sell it as a meat broth. It doesn't have fat bubbles (which every meat broth should have, especially if it's cooked longer than 24 hours). They say they somehow get rid of it, or maybe it's because it was frozen before I bought it. Anyway I know how real broth influences my body, this one did't feel like one. Attached find last picture - brodo broth (which looks like coffee), second - springbone. First one is how their broth apparently is supposed to look like (like actual broth).

I think the hearth broth I had was really delicious! I made mine a little spicy, so it was the perfect blend of flavors. I would of given this place 4 stars, but then I simply remembered it’s just broth in a cup. Something I probably could do at home. Also, 10 dollars for a cup? That’s just way too steep for broth. I do think you should at least try it once! You might really love it ☺️ 🍲

Not exactly a front runner on the service side, but always great on the brew. Only a couple seats outside on the street. Nearly always has all the basic broths. Hearth w/rosemary oil and coconut milk🧑‍🍳💋

Disappointing as I was hoping for a purer and healthier bone broth. I ordered beef and it tasted heavily of ginger, celery, and carrots, and was actually sweet and sticky because of that. I enjoyed the selection of salts, but was disappointed that the broth was overwhelmed by sweet root flavors. Brodo contacted me about my negative review and was unreceptive to criticism, resolving nothing. They tried to convince me that adding sugary and unhealthy root vegetables to their broth and ruining the meat flavor was somehow good, and that was it.

I really enjoyed my beef bone broth with the B.E.C (bacon, egg yoke and parm cheese). It was so savory and satisfying. It was nice to sample the flavors, and I love the salt bar of 6 different beautiful salts you can add yourself! I recently had a stomach bug and was craving something calming and something to make my stomach happy- Brodie does not disappoint!!! Highly recommend!!
