Broma Not A Bar

After climbing the short four floors to the bar itself I was greeted with a sweeping view of walking street. The bar is decorated tastefully with lights and Christmas decorations and it is fantastic! I was greeted immediately upon entering. They do offer reserved tables and seating with plenty of unreserved seating available as well. It is an open concept if ever there was one with a retractable roof as well as balcony seating (reserved). I stopped by for a refresher so I only ordered the Saigon Rosè beer which reminds me of a sour spirit; very flavorful and bubbly!! The seating is comfortable and spaced well apart from others as to not encroach on space. The menu has many different options for alcohol to include variety slides which is neat. They were kind enough to let me switch my seating to the balcony which offers the best view of any entertainment happening in the plaza. Another nice feature is that the bar has numerous fans both oscillating and stationary to provide adequate cooling no matter your seating situation, and in Vietnam adequate cooling is a massive plus. They have DJ’s each night at 11P. They offer snacks ranging from Olives to Calamari Rings, French Fries and cheesy snacks, I love me a good snack 😋 all in all if you’re perusing walking street, Broma Not A Bar is definitely worth a visit!

We discovered this charming little rooftop bar and absolutely loved it! We popped in during the afternoon, and it felt like our own private oasis. The view transforms beautifully at night, but we really enjoyed the street scene while lounging up top. Oh, and the mojito was fantastic—it was so refreshing and perfect for beating the heat! I just wish I could hang out here a little longer.

Loved the music and vibes! They don’t offer food, the cocktails took 15min to make but definitely were worth to wait! The view is great, toilets are clean and staff is friendly. Recommend for a chill evening!

It’s lively but never overwhelming. Drinks are well-crafted, especially their signature cocktails and local craft beer options. Prices are on the higher side, but worth it for the ambiance and view. The staff is friendly and attentive, and there’s no pressure to rush, making it a great place to unwind.

The atmosphere was alright, we came on a Wednesday so it was quiet empty. There was some live music, which was pretty nice. We were just very disappointed by the drinks, especially mine, the Espresso Martini was just too small and for that, with 210k, very overpriced in my opinion. As a bartender myself I can also say, it didn’t have enough alcohol and the characteristic coffee beans on top were also missing. Besides that it’s not really a ‚rooftop bar’ with the greatest view, so the prices aren’t justified imo. We left right after finishing the drinks.

The location and the bar’s layout is quite good! I can not say the same for the bar’s policies. The bar was almost empty however we couldn’t sit in the front unless we ordered a bottle. They do not accept credit cards so bring cash with you. Alternatively they provide you with a QR code to do bank transfer; weird :/ Staff lacks of very basic English knowledge, but they are kind

A very famous bar on Nguyen Hue Street in downtown Ho Chi Minh City. Attracting tourists from all over and even locals. When my first time to come here, it’s a pretty good experience. There aren’t many people on weekdays, so it’s very chill for me. The second time I visited was on Women's Day on March 8th. I was very shocked. The whole bar was full of people. Everyone really enjoyed the whole atmosphere. Of course, the DJ also played a major role in stirring up everyone's atmosphere. On the day of the festival, you only need to pay the entrance fee of VND 100,000. Generally speaking, the cost of alcohol is not very expensive, and most beers cost between VND 110,000-130,000. Bartending is about VND 210,000-230,000.
