We had a nice dinner for four. All did work well, service, delivery of food was fast, tasty food, good winelist. What else do you need. The rest is up to your self I guess😎

I was quite surprised by how much I enjoyed my food! I was a little off put by the menu as there’s a lot of different cuisines in one place, but they seem to do a good job with a lot of them which is impressive. I got the risotto and it was perfectly cooked, and very tasty. Loved the white asparagus. A little pricy but we sat outside which was beautiful, and the vibe inside was very cool too.

The swedish meatballs were absolutely incredible. Was only here for 3 days and came here for two of them. staff were lovely and very helpful, was pretty busy mid day but that cannot be helped. thank you!😊

Food average, service so bad, a lot of free tables but the head waiter decided to place us at a high bar table with another elderly couple. We wanted to sit alone and were placed at another high table but this time at an even worse one with bad chairs. My girlfriend has back problems and we needed chairs that have backrests but only after some arguing did we get one chair thats semi comfortable. While they had a perfectly empty unused table with great chairs for back issues and we were seated right next to the dirty dishes area which was so unpleasant. The head waiter is a smug and arrogant small man and that can be seen even by the first interaction. Meatballs for the people is a much better place. So in conclusion: average food, there are other way better places in sweden, horrible staff and mid atmosphere and its pretty expensive.

The meatballs are so good! The portion is really well sized and keeps you full, even without a starter. We had the Steak Tartar as a starter, which sadly was disappointing. The meat was drowned in a salad dressing and topped with fried onions. You don’t get bread with the steak tartare, which you then have to ask for. The waiter suggested us having fries with it, which was a great idea. But for a restaurant with this calibre, i would expect to be served or at least asked to have some sauce with the fries. It was a really quiet evening indoors with great background music and kind service personnel.

Google
The food here is “Lagom” in Swedish, nothing special. The presentation of the dishes was more beautiful than the flavors. The beef tartar used minced meat and the whole texture was soft and creamy. The extra sauce on the lettuce made the whole dish overpowering creamy though. The other ingredients in the dish were simply there, somehow the whole combination was very plain, lack of layers of flavors. The beef tartar’s portion was pretty good, you could get full from it. However my friend’s egg Benedict was half the size even though with similar pricing.

Cool place next to the Karlaplan, I think meatballs are great, lax sashimi bland, tuna taco not worth it…overall a bit pricey. Good Wibe.

Such an incredible restaurant! The Swedish meatballs were the best I have ever experienced. The atmosphere, service, food, and drinks were fantastic.

Yelp
Fun Bistro with solid portions and great flavor on all 3 items we ordered. Nice friendly staff, tasty drinks - a very enjoyable lunch!! We got the Falafel, Salmon Sashimi and the Rotisserie Grilled Chicken. Will definitely come back and try the Meatballs and would recommend for lunch!

Yelp
Excellent food all round. Steak tartare was perfectly portioned and the meatballs lifted with the lingonberries or cucumber. Worth a stop for a pleasant summers lunch.

Yelp
Loved this place for dinner! They have their own rotisserie and so the rotisserie chicken dish is a must! The "potato salad" on the side is also damn good! It has fried artichokes, feta, red onion, potatoes and some other stuff together in it--I could eat it for days! You can see a little delicatessen in the front of the restaurant--where you can purchase a few items like meat, poultry, sausage, cheese, jam, marmalade, vegetables and juices. It's a little like a tiny "Urban Deli" but is tastefully quieter--without all the branding and bright graphics everywhere. All their menu items can be ordered as a take-away item and It says that you can also buy bread from their "bakery" on the website. Excited to check that out next time! The restaurant itself is a quaint little bistro with a mix of French, Mediterranean and Swedish food. Everything feels chic and cosy at the same time. Very modest european and NYC feel to the interior of the place. It's an excellent restaurant to go on a chill but nice date night with your significant other.

Yelp
We are visiting Sweden, and for our last dinner in Stockholm, I used Yelp to find this restaurant, and it was exactly what I expected and needed. Very nice little restaurant in Östermalm, very quiet area. As soon as we entered the place, we saw that they sell local goods at this small counter, and we immediately knew it was the kind of place we wanted. Further in, there is the actual restaurant, nice little tables, and a bar further in the back. The staff was immediately super friendly, offered great service and, more important to me, genuine smiles. I had the tartare, which I was craving greatly since the start of my trip, and I must say it was a great tartare. The fries were good, a little too salty, but no big deal. My dad had the Swedish meatballs. He usually hates everything related to mushrooms. When I told him that the sauce was made of mushroom (and I confirmed by tasting it that it was a really good mushroom sauce), he continued eating. Which is a big deal. He also mentioned the potato purée was remarkable. I recommend this restaurant for everyone who's getting tired of the pubs in Gamla Stan and want to try something smaller, local and very nice.

Yelp
Came here on a recommendation from our hotel front desk meeting the following criteria: 1. Open New Years Day 2. A place they themselves go to and not a tourist restaurant As a general rule restaurants in Stockholm get busy so it's good to call ahead. There were two other couples seated there already that we learned were also sent by our hotel. This is a splendid little spot with its own deli and specialty grocery (very small) and restaurant. The wait staff is fantastic, though the head waitress is vocally judgmental should you choose to drink red wine with a steamed pork bun ("That's a poor choice but ok"- direct quote ) so on a positive note they speak English. The menu is great, one large page, easy to read and understand. The food is definitely seasonal, honest, simple food executed well - my favorite. It changes constantly so no point in going over great detail what we had but I will post a couple pictures. Everything is very very good. It *could* be great, but instead it falls just a tad short. It really masters the 8, in 8/10. The combination of location, good food and reasonable prices make this a great option. Dinner for two, with 2 appetizers, 2 mains, and 2 glasses of wine came to 990 SEK or about 125 USD. This is considered a great value in this area of Stockholm, and I would return on a future visit.

Yelp
I came here to have brunch as my last meal before leaving Stockholm. I confirmed with the bartender that I should seat myself anywhere, and then sat down and waited. I sat there for at least ten minutes, while the waitress walked past me several times, completely ignoring me. I didn't want to beg to be served, so I just walked out and went to Nybrogatan 38 instead, a short walk away.

Yelp
Horrible service. Amazing food. The staff was unbothered and rude. I had a brunch wich tasted amazing. But the place have to switch out their employees. Laughable service.

Yelp
You can have breakfast, lunch or dinner here and i went all in for their breakfast buffe. You dont have to go the hardcore buffé way, but its highly recommended due to its value. Dont expect a extraordinary variety. Its more or less a very classic Swedish breakfast, with cofee/tea, yoghurt, freshly baked bread, fruits and greens. Bread is truly great and everything else is as it should be...fresh! Atmosphere is very calm during the morning and they have quite a lot of seatings. But as the time pass, more and more ppl are coming in. Perfect spot to grab a breakfast while doing some work related stuff on your computer. They have a wifi so you dont have to hassle with a personal hot spot or something like that. Go here to start off your breakfast in a good mood and leave as a champion!

Yelp
Well, what can I say. This was hands down the best place we had lunch during our 4 day city trip to Stockholm. It is away from the tourist spots and instead packed with only well-heeled locals. The neighborhood compares best to the 17th arrondissement in Paris. Excellent food, great decor.

Yelp
If you are in Stockholm for business or pleasure, go there and try their meat dishes, I had the veal which was superb, it was served with a fantastic mashed potatoes (mixed with goat cheese). We went there without a reservation but were lucky ( to find a place and to be invited by my daughter). The service was impeccable and efficient. Very easy to get to, in a very nice part of town. We loved the atmosphere. It seems expensive at first, but is actually not. Well worth it, Classy or casual, both styles go.

Yelp
Decent food but was greeted by a pretty rude hostess who later served us. I asked (twice) to have no nuts on my entree since I'm severely allergic. The waiter said ok. Then the hostess served the dish and I noticed there was nuts on it. In a very rude and defensive voice she said that's not her fault and it wasn't written on her note. She looked at me like I was a huge bother and went to reluctantly switch out the plate. To get the waiters attention to pay was quite the struggle too. We wanted to have coffee too but the pretentious staff and general elitist vibe made the decision to leave easy.

Yelp
The absolutely best thing with Broms is that they are retailers of the remarkable gingerbread cookies from the legendary Göteborgs Pepparkaksfabrik. In addition, they serve a decent lunch. I had the Salmon Sashimi Salad, which was good but not fantastic.

Yelp
Appeared to enjoy their service on Friday evening in late July (good thing: they do not close in summer, as many restaurants and cafes in Stockholm do) having a family dinner. One thing you would notice immediately if you are planning your visit in advance, the menu on website differs from one on site: they offer seasonal dishes and there is always a room for creativity. I can't say that you have a lot to chose from if you are vegetarian (ash, tough life), but my meat-lovers totally enjoyed the French young chicken. All dishes are nicely served and personnel do pay attention to their guests, especially international ones, making sure that everyone has a good time. I was pleasantly surprised with the level of service and I would love to try out Broms for other types of meals: Sunday brunch sound very appealing from other reviews.

Yelp
We had breakfast/brunch here and it was good. Not easy to eat healthy here though, I'd wish they have some oat meal or something else for us who watch what we eat. It's crowded and loud. I saw that they were redoing Broms so maybe it will be better now.

Yelp
I went here the other night just for some beer and coffee with a friend. It doesn't look much from the outside, but inside it was full of people and great atmosphere. Nice bartenders and great beer with actually kinda good prices for being in this neighborhood. I would definitely want to go back here and try out the food some day! It looked delicious.

Yelp
A restaurant, a bar and a bakery (3 in 1) on a corner along the Karlavagen boulevard in the upscale Ostermalm neighborhood. It was filled with happy local patrons. We love the Swedish meatballs, sucking pig, and the good old moules & frites. Deserts were good too. Reasonably priced relative to the expensive prices of Stockholm. We were looking for traditional Swedish meatballs and were pleasantly surprised to find other hearty dishes. Would definitely come again!

Yelp
Really cool interior and nice patio for the summer. Everything is very fresh and made with care. Went for breakfast - you can order a la carte or do the buffet which is pretty good value for the neighborhood (especially if you're hungry). Also, the bakery in the front has some really good treats and breads to take on your way out...try the brownies!

Yelp
Unbelievable poor service at this place! The personell carry a chip on their shoulder and have no real regard for its customers, such an arrogance. We needed a table, they had tables, said there was none then sat us down after some time, had no real attention to our table and continued attitude, so sad.
google avatar

Yelp
If you want delicious and traditional Swedish cuisine this is the place to go! When you travel to different countries you want to try their food. So if you're in Stockholm go to Broms! Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time, they are usually packed and it's a smaller restaurant. It's located in a very chic part of the city which is nice. Also they have the best Swedish meat balls in all of Sweden.

Yelp
Very good breakfast if you like start your day with it. Lunches and dinners are the same. Good but a bit overpriced.
google avatar

Yelp
Chic interior. Good food. Above-average lunch prices. If you happen to pass by, drop in at least once.

Aki K.

Yelp
This is probably my most favorite coffee shop in Stockholm. The food is good and pastries are also great. Coffee is big and employees are nice!

Yelp
Great lunch spot with great decor.. And perfect for soaking some sun at the tables outside! There is a 'dish of the day' lunch menu as well as other good stuff such as delicious salmon sashimi and the swedish favorite köttbullar. The service was a bit slow outside. Maybe the waiters had too much sun that day? It didn't ruin the overall experience though ;)

Yelp
I went there last night and the meal was superb. Meals were served with bread and oil which served as a good appetizer. I had the Swedish meatballs with potato purée which was excellent. The sauce that the meatballs were in was very good. Would go there again when I'm back in town!

Yelp
Not happy, the restaurant was totalt cold, when we asked they informed us that this was a problem of the houseowner, we heard different explanation from the staff, still we where freezing. The cod we ordered appeared after one hour. The taste was strange, i would say that the fish was to old, should have ben thrown away IT was serves with a sour, yes very sour califlower, and almost raw salsify. Maybe they had a bad evening but still i had to pay full prize. I wount go back again.

Yelp
We've eaten here about 5 times since it opened and it's become a local favorite. Almost our personal cafeteria One of us tries to order a different dish each time, and we are consistently pleasantly surprised. The roasted chicken, swedish meatballs, lax chirashi, the classic chanterelle toast, roasted chicken salad with hazelnuts, and finally the tuna taco were all great. My boyfriend is swedish and he didn't love the swedish meatballs as much as I did but they are still really tasteful. They also have a nice wine list and you can easily eat at the bar and people watch. It reminds me of restaurants in NYC. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Nice bistro for lunch in an area (Karlaplan) that was pretty much dead on this sunny Sunday. We had the grilled Iberico and Raw Food salad. Both very good. The desserts (rhubarb pie and chocolate mousse) were not quite up to the same standard but decent enough to wrap an otherwise nice meal. Attentive and friendly service. I'll be back.

Carol V.

Yelp
Delicious. Upscale place, great food, not overly expensive for Stockholm. Would return in a heartbeat.
