Brøndums Hotel

We had a wonderful lunch at Brøndums. The building is beautiful, historic and full of wonderful paintings but the restaurant doesn’t rely on atmosphere alone. The food is delicious - we had open sandwiches with very generous toppings - and the service is friendly, charming and very professional. The hotel’s own special spicy snaps made a unique and delicious accompaniment to the food

Good Hotel with amazing breakfast. Only bad thing we experienced was that the room was extremely hot and there's no fans at all. We woke up multiple times sweating like crazy and even with the windows open there's almost no airflow.

Charming old world charm. This is definitely a step back in time. Without being nostalgic. Just in keeping with the age of the hotel.|The king comes here.|Nice choice on the breakfast buffet. Just remember to take the coffee thermos to your table otherwise you'll stand out as an obvious tourist. We stayed in the Admiralgården nearby as we wanted our own bathroom. Communal baths in the main house due to planning laws. We hired bikes at the hotel to drive to Blink and the east coast mini lagoons for early morning dip in Kattegat. This was our 2nd visit to this hotel. And if we ever go to Skagen again we will probably stay here again. Many thanks to all the staff

We enjoyed staying in this historic hotel which is quite different from most others I have stayed at in Denmark. The room was fairly basic but quite clean. There was only a sink in the room as the bathrooms were down the hall; they were clean too, and it wasn't a problem especially as we were just staying one night. The breakfast was excellent, and the indoor and outdoor seating areas were both very pleasant. We didn't go to the main restaurant at the front of the hotel; it is very expensive. Free parking was easy to get right in front of the hotel in the street. Service was friendly and professional. I would stay here again.

Spent a few nights here. The overall experience was okay at most. Old water damage on the wallpaper in my room which made the room look a bit unhygienic but the cleaning itself of the room was good. The shared bathrooms was a bit worse though. Toilets seemed clean but the showers hadn't been taken proper care of for a while. Was hesitant to even take a shower at first with all the built up spots of black mold and miscolored shower walls. Doesn't really live up to the expectations in comparison to the rest of the hotel. Overall the style of the rooms and the hotel is very nice and is why we choose to stay here. The breakfast was tasty and nothing to really add there! The cleaning personnel the first morning seemed irritated and barely said hello. The second morning there was another person which was much nicer. Remember they all represent your hotel. There also was a damaged cable with exposed copper(live wire) on 2 spots, which had clearly been run over by something and ignored. Got it replaced. But potentially very dangerous especially for kids. (Had one of our own with us) Didn't try the restaurant because of the luxury price but it looked fancy and good. Would I stay here again? Probably not.

My favorite place in the world. Broendums is quaint, charming, has excellent service, & serves delicious food. Don’t miss tea time by the fire &/or after dinner drinks by the same fire. Lovely! Off & shoulder season things are more quiet in town. If you love nature, art, & comfort far from the madding crowd Broendums in Skagen my recommendation.
