Amazing experience all round. Best steak tartare I've ever had. Souffle was incredible as were the two steaks. Bruce was a great host and Sophie has made a very good and approachable French focused wine list 🤤🍷

I haven’t been for a few years but my wife and I went for lunch yesterday. From the friendly greeting, to the food to the atmosphere, everything was perfect. Bonus shout out for keeping the red wine and serving it at the correct temperature which is getting rare these days. Also, our glasses were always topped up beautifully. Steak tartare was perfection. So was everything else. Highly recommended,especially for a nice Friday lunch away from the usual CBD crowds.

We are a local business and Stew hosted our end of year Christmas Party and it couldn't have been more magical! The food was amazing, the service was quality, and the atmosphere was incredible! Everyone had an amazing time and it wouldn't have been as special as it was without Stew's fabulous vision for the night! We cannot thank you enough!

From the moment we stepped in the staff was courteous and friendly, this was reinforced by the wait staff knowing my friend as a regular diner. Building that relationship goes to show the amount of care for their customers and takes it to a personal level. The presentation of the food and taste was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was great and at no time was it lacking or too over the top. Will definitely recommend this place to dine.

Bronte Road Bistro is a hidden local gem. Housed in a beautiful heritage old home, with a garden courtyard that’s perfect for summer dining. We have come here for years. Staff get to know you, then they get to know your name, then they do everything they can to accommodate your dining preferences, and fitting you in during busy periods. AND then they let me do a bougie takeaway of oysters and anchovies. The service is personal and so accommodating. The menu is consistent and consistently good. My partner loves the steak and cheese soufflé, I bounce between sometimes it’s the spatchcock, sometimes it’s two entrees, sometimes it’s a special - and it’s always enjoyable. The wine list is solid. Sophie is service with a smile and gives French authenticity while the rest of the team and their sense of humour always make us laugh.

Food was amazing. We enjoyed the sauce of every dish. Rich flavours but well balanced. It was so good to just enjoy the sauce with their nice bread too. Friendly and lovely service. Beautiful and cozy atmosphere in the restaurant. Will definitely go back.

We came for a special occasion as a friend had given us a gift voucher. Staff greeted us, were friendly, continual checking of bread, water, wine throughout the meal. The food (we had 3 courses) was magnificent, finished off with great coffee. The best thing about this restaurant (apart from the food) were the wonderful 2 wait staff (1 guy, 1 girl this evening) who knew their menu and were just genuine, friendly and attentive. We are so tired of rude staff and poor service in Sydney. We happily left a tip at Bronte Rd Bistro. We've found a Sydney Gem. We will be back!

Nice place to have lunch or dinner here but it is a challenge to find parking outside. Staffs are friendly and explained the menu clearly.
