Brook Lane Hostel

Amazing little place hidden away in the city center. We booked the couple/double room (hotel standard, very roomy) to save some cash. The kitchen was spotless and fully stocked. The owner is running a convenience store (Mini-mart) on the ground floor with fair pricing. She was very helpful and spoke proper English. Overall 5 stars - clean, cheap and lovely staff. Will come again.

This Hostel saved my buttom when I was stranded in Regensburg. I was allowed to have a good sleep before my check in. The employees were super helpfull and friendly. It was maybe a bit noisy but thats what you get living in the City Center :D Biiiig thanks to the lovely people working there <3 Happy to come visit again :)

Incredible noise just outside the window. Impossible to get some sleep especially because the roommate wanted to leave the window opened... There are many clubs around so if you are going there before a bank holiday or a weekend you can expect real noise at night.. . Some hairs in the showers and toilets didn't close perfectly so I would not recommend to go there.

The attitude 'its as cheap as you can get' is imposed upon everything. Wifi exists in half of the rooms, no towels though i payed the extra sheets fee), and half the stuff is extraordinarily rude, with a smirk: 'go if you don't like it'. On the positive side it sure has tea and coffee for free, and pleasant decoration.. And that is where positive stopped for me. I was changed rooms without notice or valid choice, to a room without wifi, smelling even more than the one i stayed and tried to clean and air for days. Well that's what you get with the cheapest choice I guess, especially in Germany: rude inhumanity... UPDT WARNING. Short after i wrote these lines, i returned to the hostel, to be repremanted by the owner for my eveluation. For his defence i had to pay an xtra 1eu for the towel (not informed) and pay a smaller room to have wifi in room (not informed on this too). But he obviously took pride in his rudeness and kicked me out.

Very dirty, hygiene level is very low. Chaotic and loud and no breakfast included. It might be international but in Germany breakfast should be included for this price. Minus five stars would be adequate. Not to be recommended!

Great people and great place well located. I spent one week in this hostel and have only good memories of my stay. Special thanks to the owner, Armin, who has been really friendly and helpful.

Nice stay. The people were very friendly! There were clean sheets and towels in the room. The showers are nice and it was a top location!

Great inexpensive accommodation in Regensburg. Close to everything and Hostel keepers where very helpful and kind.
