A Charming Tea Experience at Brooke Bond Taj Mahal Tea Lounge ☕ We stumbled upon this quaint little spot for a casual catch-up with friends, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. The place exudes warmth, making it perfect for long conversations over tea. The menu is surprisingly extensive, offering a contemporary twist on classics—think paneer-stuffed samosas! Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are well represented, along with beautifully curated tea platters that pair perfectly with the food. With such a wide variety of teas to explore, one visit just isn’t enough. Looking forward to coming back to sample more! A must-visit for tea lovers and food enthusiasts alike.

We walked over to the Taj Mahal Tea House (TMTH for short.. rather than BBTMTH - which is quite a mouthful if you ask me 😄) from Mount Mary Church following a leisurely stroll along Band Stand. Since the latter of the two walks had been somewhat brisk, we were in definite need for some refreshment and the delightful experience that greeted us was truly welcome. It wasn't quite a surprise for our friend had recommended the joint with much gusto! We chose to start with (and eventually ended with it too - for what was meant to be a small meal, it definitely was not) an assortment of sweet & savoury tidbits - the Non-veg High Tea Platter - with cups of chai - mine a Kashmiri Saffron and hers a Parsi Mint. Barring one or two of the assortment, all the items were delectable - even the ones that didn't quite fit the bill quite right were still quite palatable, perhaps we were suffering from the theory of diminishing returns from over consumption 😄 or so it seemed at the time. The place is truly one of its kind with a variety of seating options (we, it would turn out later, had managed to occupy the most coveted armchairs in the establishment) and tea rooms in many a pleasant setting without straying too far from the theme of a quiet and elegant heritage. On the whole, we enjoyed a wonderful autumnal evening and found TMTH a sanctuary from the bustle of what is 'maximum city'. lt thoroughly satisfied our nerves.

Superb place.... On the expensive side. But the the tea tasting experience with different types of Darjeeling and assam tea is great and the interiors are lovely porting you to a tea estate ambience. Ideal for a Sunday brunch. Tip : Take the seating inside in case you visit in the daytime.

One of the best high tea places I’ve visited . We ordered for a non veg platter which gives you a complimentary tea of your choice ie milky or organic .. Mine was Kashmiri saffron & my partner opted for a Malabari vanilla coconut tea separately . Every bite was rich & delicious. It’s a good place to go on a date .

One of the most amazing place for a cup of tea and snacks. They have an exhaustive menu and a huge variety of tea's. Super place to chill out and spend quality time with near and dear ones over a cuppa. Highly recommended.

Visited 2 years ago and then the service was great. This time around it was slow and not so great. My tea unfortunately didn't taste very nice either.. The main course pasta dish was nice though. The food menu could be a bit more extensive, it had mostly nibbles and small platters.

Super delicious tea! Wow! And the food that the servers recommended were excellent. Service overall was also excellent. We'll be back! We came back and had another great experience! Rajkumar, the supervisor of the wait staff, again provided excellent service including detailed explanations of the teas and food pairing options.

Nothing short of 5 out 5... My Love for Taj Tea and our forever use of only Taj Mahal tea leaves in our home for over a decade got me enthusiastic about this Tea-house and thats how I ended up planning a visit here... Had a wholesome Breakfast experience with a professional and knowledgeable staff... This was my 1st experience of a Fine-dine Breakfast and Tea Cafe... Went there planning to have a "normal" breakfast... Ended up having anything but... 4 teas, 1 tapioca boba cold-tea and breakfast ofcourse... That was all made perfectly. Kudos to the Chefs, the tea-sommelier/barista and the Capt. /Wait staff... The wait staff on 16th Oct'24 AM hours and Clifford [Very much a Tea expert] the Table-Captain were prompt and helpful, highly obliging and sweet. It was the 1st Tea-House I actually walked around in soaking up all the History it has on display around in the cafe and how the framed pics of Great Indian musicians performing in the Tea house make you feel the importance of such beautiful places in keeping our Cultural music available to us... In two words.. I would wanna say... "Wah...Taj!!!" ... Well done CTC.
