Brooke Bond Taj Mahal Tea House

The place is located in a quiet bylane of Bandra (with a valet parking!!) which can be missed if you don’t about them. They have large indoor seating and a small outdoor garden seating area. The ambiance is cosy with warm lights and instrumental music in the background. Their Parsi mint tea and Saffron tea is a must try. We tried the the food platter couple of times, while the food quality and taste is really good, however, the menu hasn’t changed in the past visits (visits across 6-7 months) The bite sized snack can be shared between 3 adults. The staff is nice, warm and hospitable. The food pricing is slightly on the expensive side, but no complaints on the quality and taste.

Beautiful place with a very calm atmosphere. It feels like you’ve stepped into an old heritage bungalow. I loved the classical music playing in the background—it’s so relaxing. It’s the perfect spot to sit with a book and a hot cup of Taj Mahal tea. Highly recommend the Kashmiri Kahwa too!

100000/100000 recommend! Great chai, food and service (shoutout to Cliferd to being super amiable and accomodating :) ) The interiors are warm and cosy and the chai felt so nourishing. I had the paan gulkand tea which literally felt like drinking tea with paan in it! We also ordered the zayka-e-mehfil from the winter menu and it was a treat. Post this we devoured the strawberry mille feuille. I want to go again and try their high tea options now. Would definitely visit again :D

Wah Taj - or I can even call it Wow Taj !! We went for a late evening and tried vada pav, veg sandwich and keema pav with some cold coffee I must say all in there was completely wow starting from ambience, service, food choices, food taste and even the pricing Service was fast thankfully so no long waits, we were helped in our selection and our specific requests in the ordered food were well managed Presentation was good and food tasted wow Definitely my next visit to Mumbai I will be back for more !!! The atmosphere was amazing with soft music playing in the background. Loved the service by Mr. Ravindra. Would highly recommend this place to all the tea lovers :) We had tried the Gulkand Pan tea(exceptional taste) and the Vanilla Coconut tea(fairly good taste). Even the rose falooda was delicious!

Outstanding for different types of chais! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. We tried the saffron chai (sweet), Parsi mint tea (lemongrass and mint — great!), the Jaipur royal (solid masala chai), the kadipatta delight (savory — not everyone’s favorite but I liked it). The soy kheema was delicious!!

A place to visit when you need to experience the calm and charm of a tea house, when you don’t want a Starbucks. The staff were attentive and happy to talk through the extensive selection of teas. Hot snacks are not a big part of the menu and are, for the western taste, a little salty. Price is certainly more than on the street but, you get so much from the atmosphere and is worthwhile.

Very glad I came here on my visit to Mumbai - it has a beautiful, calming atmosphere. The tea menu is extensive, and everything was delicious. The manager was very helpful and knowledgeable on all the teas. They clearly take pride in their products. I hope to come back soon
