Place is a beautiful cute farm. Shop is very well done. Very organized, all the food they sale look top grade. I love that they sell the raw organic milk in glass bottles. The signage is also very cool. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants good milk or meats.

The healthiest food money can buy! Great variety of organic meats, chicken and duck eggs, dairy including a large selection of cheeses, fermented veggies, honey, maple syrup, fresh produce including herbs, bread, and grain products. All the critters are out on pasture. Amazing earth friendly farming practices. This farm is THE prototype of how every farm should be managed!

Christmas with the Cows was a super cute, awesome experience! Pretty small, but not overcrowded and tons of cows and calves to see! They had a cute little pop-up puppet show, which actually taught us some things we never knew! Awesome vendors, and a great experience!

We went for the Sunflowers, it was an expensive dissapointment. It cost $14 per adult to get in and a long walk to get to the fields with less than expected flower heads.

Google
Great working farm with a corn maze and PYO sunflowers, pumpkins, and organic raspberries as of September! The staff were very friendly and attentive, plus their two herding dogs like making friends. They had covered picnic tables out and a sand pile for kids to play (and a bathroom nearby). They have a farm store as well, though it is quite small with mostly coolers of milk/cheese products and meats. Most of the fresh produce available was outside.

Google
Please do whatever is necessary, including raising prices as needed, to fortify the stability, permanency, and volume of your immensely valuable raw milk production. There is not enough local competition for equally high quality unpasteurized milk in the immediate region. Consumers are willing to pay Brookford more for this product. We're concerned about continued availability over future expectations of increased consumer demand and evil regulatory encumbrances.

This farm knows what they’re doing for agricultural practices and high food quality. I have a lot of dietary issues and found this to be top notch for our vacation. It made us realize that our typical expensive grocery food was not good! I wish this place was closer to where we live normally. Buy local ❤️

To be honest I don’t know how their are so many great reviews. We have had a CSA farmshare fron Brookford farms this summer and it has been nothing but disappointing. We did a “full share” supposedly enough veggies for a family. However it ends up not being enough for 2 people even. This past week, mid August: 1/2 pint of cherry tomatoes, 1 unripe tomatoe, few springs of basil, bunch of zucchini, etc. Its basically a half share of other CSAs I have used in the past. Will try and update with a photo of next weeks share but here are the tomatoes

Yelp
We visited this farm for the sunflower soirée, expected to see some sunflowers (which we did) but was happily surprised at the other events happening at the farm. Highly recommend the field tour, everyone was very friendly, and the live music paired with delicious food from the local vendors hit the spot! Definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
Paid for the "Strawberry Jamboree" event here and felt completely scammed. Other, similar events do not have entry fees and that should have been my first red flag. The event was highly advertised and we paid $10pp ($20 total) to drive almost 40 minutes to this event. Go up to scan our tickets and only after the lady happily scans our tickets does she inform us there are no strawberries. Sold out, none to pick, none to buy. Advertised "multiple vendors" and there were 2 vendors under tents. It was a complete ghost town. A band was playing to absolutely no one. The cows we saw were completely COVERED in flies where I couldn't even see some of their faces with the layers of flies, on top of flies covering them...they looked absolutely miserable. What a cash grab. This event should have been canceled and refunded. Being unprepared is one thing...falsely advertising it at a grand event when there was nothing and no one is a different thing all together.

Yelp
Bought tickets online on June 26, 2024 for the "Strawberry Jamboree " on the 29th. Arrived on the 29th and learned that there were no strawberries - the season pretty much ended two weeks ago. There were none of the events that were advertised. We received coupons when we entered for $5 off $10 strawberry shortcake that was worth $5 at most. The entire event should have been canceled and prepaid tickets refunded. Reportedly the strawberry season was early this year, but continued selling of tickets was deception

Yelp
Prices are screaming over the top, it's the lack of competition. They are always out of cream and one of the employees is just miserable. Other than that, enjoy waiting inline with parents who have no choice but to purchase the milk for their kids.

Yelp
RECEIVED OLD FOOD (OVER 2 YEARS OLD) On January 12th I ordered some organ meats and 2 packs of pigs feet from Brookford Farm to make a traditional cultural meal for a family member's birthday. Their birthday is on January 21st. I decided to defrost the pigs feet in the fridge two days before their birthday, but I noticed as it defrosted more that the date on both packages says packed on 2018. The date was hard to read when it was frozen. I was irked by this because the food is way too old and probably low quality due to age. On top of this, 2 packs of pigs feet costs $6, and can be a little more or less than $6 due to weight. I was charged $15, more than double the price, for old food. I contacted the sales email on the 20th and asked for a replacement, but if no replacement is found then a refund is fine. I was told that a replacement will be searched. I dont hear back for five days, so I email again and ask for an update. I'm told that they'll be back on the 27th to find a replacement. I still dont hear anything back on the 29th, so I emailed and asked for a refund. Im told the refund will be processed. Now its February 5th ( a week later), I contact the farm again to ask for an update. Im told the refund should come in today. Now the book keeper contacts me and says it was put as a credit on my account, which I never asked for, and a refund will take 7-10 days. So basically I've had to wait 2 weeks for a refund, then received a credit I never asked for that I dont want to spend because I received old food for my family member's b-day, and now have to wait another 7-10 days for a refund. I said I am very frustrated by the credit and having to wait a total of 3 weeks foe this refund. Finally Im told I'll get a check in the mail. I'm super frustrated by this whole thing, and upset that old food was sold in the first place. I wasnt going to wrote this review if the replacement or refund was issued quickly, but it took so long. Old food shouldnt have been in the freezer in the first place. I wanted to support local farm delivery due to being homebound because of the pandemic. They're the only farm delivery service near me that sells organ meats. For now i'll be getting deliveries from Seven Sons Farm in Indiana for their organs meats from now on.

Yelp
Stopped by while visiting NH looking for a farm stand. Large selection of cheese and ended up purchasing the cheddar which was good. Bought a watermelon and beans as well. Opened up watermelon and it was rotten. Beans were old and didn't cook properly. It seems like the farm is not employing proper quality control. Especially for the price of everything this was extremely disappointing.

Yelp
Bought some of their produce, meat, and butter at the local farmers market, and my husband and I were very impressed by the quality and flavor. Love that this operation is a sustainably run farm; it's difficult to find farms as dedicated as they are to a philosophy of diversified, organic farming oriented around the health of the soil. It's lovely knowing our produce was particularly high in nutrition, because they care so much about the soil it grows in. We are heavily considering a CSA with them, though we're a little concerned about the size and wasting food.

Yelp
We did the Brookford Farms CSA this year. It has been quite disappointing in terms of the quality and quantity of produce. We recently got an email stating how they are sorry for the decreased quality and yields, but basically it has resulted from poor management. We also had done the dairy share, but I think they essentially do this as means of getting rid of old stock. The cheese curds we had, 1 basically looked like shredded cheese and went moldy days later. Similar with the camembert cheese we got, not a creamy texture, and actually had mold growing on the exterior, salvaged some but had to throw out a bunch. The yoghurt they advertise as a pint, but it was actually less. Overall we have been very disappointed in this CSA and will look elsewhere next year. Poor management isn't an excuse...

Yelp
I had the pleasure of visiting Rollinford, NH earlier this month. I actually came to visit a friend, who's boyfriend is a farmer at Brookford farm, so I was able to say hello to the cows and pigs and also try their delicious products. I became a huge fan of the Dill & garlic Quark that the farm produces- it has a cream cheese like texture, but is slightly more sour. I think it goes great on a cracker or bread. I also must give a special shot out to the yogurt, I usually think plain yogurt is just okay, but this one was more than just okay, I ate it for breakfast everyday in Rollinsford! If anyone is passing through, I would reccomend picking up some Dill & Garlick Quark!

Yelp
Organic and local farm which I get delicious raw milk and summer veggies. They deliver and offer many payment options, making it easy to join thier CSA program. They have active Facebook and Instagram accounts and send a weekly newsletter that make you feel very connected to the farm.

Yelp
For some time, we have purchased Brookford Farms milk from a local market in Concord. Our son loved it. On such milk however had an off taste - it tasted like detergent was still in the bottle or the equipment. We took it back to the market where it was replaced without question. Kudos to the market. The next one, had the same off taste. These were from different dates, and the initial and replacement visits to the store were also a couple days apart. I called Brookford Farm directly and asked for a return call. A week later and I as the phone isn't ringing, I won't be buying any more of their milk.

Yelp
My wife and I bought in to the farm by purchasing a whole diet CSA membership. We receive our dairy, (milk, cheese, quark, yogurt,) vegetables, beef, pork, chicken, eggs. We love the idea of supporting a farm that's local and organic. We also enjoy not having to go to the grocery store nearly as often, and our CSA is delivered to our town! Best decision we've made for our health and our carbon footprint.

Yelp
I got really excited for the dairy and it's really really good. Sweet, creamy whole milk. Cheeses, cream cheese, quark, yogurt, buttermilk.

Yelp
This farm is great. The food and the atmosphere are just perfect. I've been a regular eater here eating from milk-cheese-meat-vegtables. THey have everything.

Yelp
Amazing cheeses, milk, vegetables, meats, eggs, flour, bread. The definition of sustainable agriculture. Know where your food comes from.

Yelp
I'm a member of the Brookford Farm CSA and am consistently pleased with the quality of the produce, meat, and dairy products they deliver. Weekly newsletters keep members informed of happenings on the farm and the support team is very responsive to any questions about orders. Don't miss their Camembert!

Yelp
Consistently reliable good foods. Price seems competitive with other local farms and the selection of cultured and fresh dairy is excellent. Good bacon also with the animals cared for in ways that studies have shown make a difference in the quality of the products.

Johann R.

Yelp
I have been bragging about your Yoghourt which I used to consider "out of this world" until about 6 weeks ago. Lately the layer of cream on the top has been getting thinner and thinner. What happened? Johann Rothwangl, MD

Yelp
I've been a member of the Brookford CSA for many years and we are consistently happy with their high quality, selection, and dedication to sustainable farming. They also deliver to locations around the state making it easy. The farm and staff are open and welcoming and if you haven't checked out their products yet, you should!

Yelp
We have been buying Brookford's milk for over 7 years. Their grass-based-organic milk has blessed my children with good health. In the last two years we have become year-round CSA members. It is rewarding to raise my children with the knowledge of where their food comes from. We can buy pretty much everything we need to eat (meat, veg, fruit eggs, dairy and fermented). Can't say enough good about the quality of the food. Food with a conscience! Incredible farm!

Yelp
I love this farm and I love their products! I liked it better when they were closer to me but I can still get their stuff at farmer's markets! The only issue I have had with the farm was with their CSA. The payment aspect was difficult, the communication wasn't very clear or prompt. It would also be nice if you could customize your vegetable shares a bit more as we tend to end up with a lot of veggies that we don't eat for diet purposes and we never know what to do with them. There should be a way to trade in what your family does not eat for something else that they would enjoy since you are paying for the product. Also, if you elect to have a dairy share, you have to pay for the bottles if you don't return them each week, just a helpful tip that I didn't realize at first. Overall, their product is stellar just some hiccups with the CSA and maybe some possible changes in the future could make it even better.
