My wife and I really enjoyed our 3 nights & so did Nell, our 15.5yr old Patterdale terrier. The staff were fantastic. Friendly, approachable and served well. The hotel is lovely, very relaxing and comfortable. The bar lounge is very comfortable, quite, great place to relax in, have a drink, cup of tea, light meals, read, knit, play cards. We loved sitting here in the evening. Pool etc all nice. If you want they have an Italian restaurant on site. Food was OK, I have had better. Pizzas look nice. You can get a bar meal up until 1800hrs. These meals are lighter, 6oz steak sandwich, chicken salad etc. No chips or burgers. Food organic. Breakfast was fantastic hot and cold foods and all you can eat. Note. There is no restaurants close by, so if planning to eat off site, you will have to travel a fair bit. We both would recommend this venue.

We stayed here for our anniversary. It was perfect from start to finish. We loved the cosy check in, our room, the spa, dinner in the Italian and the breakfast. It was all beautiful. The staff were so helpful and polite. The setting is so peaceful and relaxing. The perfect getaway.

BrookLodge Hotel Review||||I recently stayed at BrookLodge for one night, and while the setting is lovely, the experience didn’t quite meet my expectations. The room and bathroom felt a bit dated and could benefit from some modern upgrades to match the charm of the property. For the price, I expected a higher standard of comfort.||||Breakfast was unfortunately underwhelming. The food lacked flavor, and the process wasn’t explained, which led to some confusion. The service could have been quicker and more attentive to detail. The Staff on breakfast service are lacking in experience and need more training. ||||Dinner at The Strawberry Tree, while pleasant, didn’t fully live up to its reputation. It was nice but not particularly memorable for the cost.||||This hotel has great potential, and with some updates and refinements, it could truly shine. For now, I feel the price doesn’t quite align with the 4-star rating. However, I hope to see improvements in the future because the property has so much to offer.

Stayed here for one night with my husband. As we were parking in the car park, around 7.30pm, the receptionist rang my husband to check if we were still coming which seemed odd. He told her we had just pulled up yet when we went into the reception just a few minutes later, there was no one there and we were left standing there until a member of staff saw us and got the receptionist. We were told out room was in a different building, Brook Hall, which was the other side of the car park. The spa, the restaurant and the bar were in the main building, although the spa was already closed when we arrived. It was extremely wet so make sure you bring a coat in case you are also staying in a different building. The room was big and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was very old fashioned, a chain pull flush on the toilet and a very high sided bath. The WiFi signal was not strong enough to use it and there is very little phone reception. There were also no plugs near the bed. In fact there were only 4 sockets in the entire room, two at the TV with the TV in one and two over near the door. For breakfast, there was a good selection of juices, cereal, pastries. The hot food menu was not very vegetarian friendly but the waitress said I could have the full Irish minus the meat. We were given one slice of toast each and it was difficult to get someone's attention to ask for more. We did not have much interaction with staff but the ones we did were friendly. In the morning, drilling or works of some kind started really early and were very noisy, wakening us both up. We had booked here for what we thought would be a nice, luxurious end to our holiday but it was below the standard I would expect from a 4 star hotel.

Arrived at Brooklodge and the minute we arrived the lights on the trees and the whol atmosphere was just gorgeous. The staff are outstanding and we had a few drinks in the cozy snug area of the bar. Then we headed for dinner in the Italian restaurant. Again the staff were amazing and the food was excellent and very good value for money. Our lovely room was near the pool and had views onto the golf course and river running behind. It was a short walk over to the main building and again lovely lights on the trees made it feel so special. The Breakfast room is gorgeous and again very attentive staff but felt the breakfast was a bit average but great selection. After we went for a gorgeous walk in the gardens and really the whole place is just utterly picturesque. Can't wait to go back it will definitely be on my repeat bucket list in the near future. Well done to all the staff for a truly excellent experience 👏

Attended a wedding at the beautiful Brook Lodge in September. The staff were all so friendly and professional. The spa was an oasis of calm. I dined in the Italian Restaurant, the main bar and the Strawberry Tree. Everywhere the food was outstanding. There was a stream outside of my room and it really added to the ambience of this special location. I will be back and I highly recommended this hotel.

I rave about this place to anyone who’ll hear me, it’s such a wonderful place! The staff - each and every single person we met from guest services to room cleaners to maintenance staff to servers in the restaurant and bar - every single person was just so happy, pleasant, nothing was a problem, had a laugh with us, brought us where we needed to go. The Strawberry Tree restaurant is outrageously good. It has no business being that good. It’s Michelin recommended for a reason! All food is local and in season, dishes are creative and balanced, clean plates all around. Rooms are sumptuous and comfortable with impressive furnishings. See, I’m raving about this place again!
