Brooklyn Cruise Terminal

Brooklyn Cruise Terminal is organized & operated professionally. It caters to large passengers on daily basis, handle large luggage movements, immigration & all supplies. The pick up areas could have a better organization though.

We left on a cruise from here 2 years ago and the boarding took a LONG time! Of course there was 5,000 people boarding...but it was crazy! This time was a breeze! Drop luggage to boarding in less than 10 minutes!! We walked straight on! It's a clean, large facility and both times the staff were awesome!! They deserve a lot of praise for all they deal with ..all with a smile and grace.

Brooklyn Cruise Terminal was a bit time consuming compared to Cape Liberty, NJ and Manhattan Cruise Terminal-. Considering the number of passengers boarding it could have been worse. Overall, I recommend to my fellow travelers as a last alternative. Princess Hamilton Cruise to Bermuda, absolutely 💯 % awesome!!!

Overall had a good experience for my first time going a cruise! The lines were long for the MSC Meraviglia back in October 2025 but they moved fast so it was a smooth experience overall

One of the best ports to cruise out of. Much more chill than either Ft Lauderdale or Miami. We will be prioritizing all of our future cruises from this port. Terminal is an easy walk to many small bars and coffee shops. Easy 30 minute connection to Penn station via a $40 cab ride. Sailing out of and into this port provides spectacular views. Best cruise port experience we have ever had. We love NY!

We boarded the QM2 here this past Friday (06-13-25). This is a super place. Lots of Porters stationed around the lot. Staff around and inside the terminal were great. My wife and I have probably been through 15 different terminals around the world in the US. The Brooklyn is tops of all of them. That's the biggest of all surprises on this trip. Its the people of NYC. They are super friendly and helpful. We love NYC!!!

Arrived on time, 1:36pm (my check-in between 1:3 and 2pm). There was only few staff. I did reserve parking already, so got place and almost pushed to run to take our luggage and move quickly. Though it was smooth boarding, the crew was telling they almost finished!! Other note, plan to arrive min 30min before your chick-in time as GPS got us to closed gate and I had to go all-round to get into the right entrance.

Great view to see Manhattan buildings. Easy access by taking NYC ferry
