Everyone here is so talented! Manuela is incredibly skilled! Mayra and Shirley are also phenomenal. The salon has such a unique atmosphere, great color selection, and feels like you are in a proper Latino Williamsburg establishment, harder and harder to find these days. You can also get your hair done and laser hair removal there!! I stick to gels.

Juliana is amazing, go for her! She has been doing my nails for over a year now and I couldn’t be happier. She’s always meticulous, professional, and super friendly. My nails look perfect every time! Highly recommend her!

Google
Great people, attention to detail, and affordable prices! I got gel nails done and last minute decided to add a simple design. Lemme just say, Zhanina is my girl. This was my first time going here, and I could just FEEL how much she cared and wanted me to like my nails. I've never had a nail technician that was so friendly! I’m writing this review two weeks later and nails are in great condition.

I’ve been getting my nails done at Brooklyn Nails & Spa for 5 years now with Mayra - and she is absolutely incredible. She always takes care of me, and has great ideas for beautiful designs on my nails. I literally will not let anyone else do a manicure for me, because I’m so dedicated to this place!! The shop is really cute as well, and all of the staff are friendly and kind. If you’re looking for a really well done hard gel manicure, this is the place to go in Williamsburg.

My cuticles have been peeling since I came here , this is the first time I’ve ever gone. No matter how much lotion I apply. I’ve never been known to have any allergies so I’m not sure why they would be peeling horribly I posted a photo of the day of i got them MAY 11 its MAY 22 and my cuticles have been peeling everyday worse I paid $120 w a discount included but the original price was suppose to be $150 for hard gel nails I was there from 4:30 til 8:30 pm . The lady was very kind to me very professional but i 1. Didn’t expect the price ( I didn’t complain because I didn’t want to discredit her work ) 2. I didn’t expect my fingers to look this way after 10 days & she only gave me a discount for a review in return. I honestly wouldn’t come again. I wish I had been mentioned the price of “hard gel” or been spoken to about pricing . I work hard for my money so I gave away $120 to have my cuticles like this after a week and a few days. It’s very disappointing. I loved the atmosphere in there but it sadden me to see my nails this way.

I got Gel-X extensions for the first time + nail art with Mayra. I brought her a inspo picture and she figured out how to recreate it, went to great effort to make sure the colors were exactly right. I’m very happy with the outcome since I was anxious about going to a new person for such a complex service The salon in general could be better- I had to wait almost an hour even though I had made an appointment days before. Also pricing seems unpredictable

Google
I love this nail salon. There is no strong smell of acrylic and nail glue. It's always quiet and relaxing. Never a hassle. I loved all of the services that I got done and the staff accommodated me as a late night walk-in. Mayra Is the best and hooked up my French manicure. I am a very happy customer!

Google
I love the staff at Brooklyn nails and spa they are very professional with their work and every time I have an appointment it’s always been the best experience and I’m always satisfied. My nails are always on point and beautiful as well as my feet. I don’t and will not go anywhere else no time soon. I also get laser with them and on the second session I started to see results and I’m on my sixth session out of eight and the results are unbelievable. I Patty would like to thank all of ladies and the one gentleman working. Thank you for your service it’s always an and you guys are amazing. 💜💕💜💕💜💕💜💕💜💕💜💕💜

Google
Wanted try this spot out as a Latina supporting a Latin business and their great reviews. Well I must’ve been a fluke as I had a terrible experience. I came in for a dip powder manicure and after 2hours and 45 min, I left with my cuticles cut up and my nails filed raw. The color opacity is not consistent and glitter was filed out in certain places. I’ve never had my nails this over drilled and filed raw. These are my birthday nails and I just wanted cry. People can definitely get this level of work for cheaper and come out better. *they did offer to fix one of my nails that has scratches in the top coat, but at that point I just wanted to leave.

Yelp
Paula gave me an amazing manicure with luminary gel! She was meticulous with her attention to detail, and my nails came out amazing. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Charged me $30 extra for a service I didn't want and didn't tell me they did the service until I was checking out. 1hr 40 min for a gel manicure.

Yelp
I love the way my nails come out! And they last me over two weeks which is more than what I've experienced at other salons. The team is very friendly and very detail oriented. The video i added is how my acrylic nails looked after 17 days

Yelp
I bought a Groupon for this place and based on their website and the customer service on the phone I expected it to be a really quality experience but unfortunately my nails turned out really poorly. I was in the chair for two hours for dip polish with tips. That might be standard, but it seems like an awfully long time for this to be the quality of the nails, they are super uneven and the dip color is super splotchy so some parts of it is more transparent, and other parts is thicker and the overall shapes are also really badly done. I am unsure if it was this gals first time, but it seems like a based on the quality and the length of time a took. I still tipped her $20 and I didn't realize the poor quality until I got outside in the sunshine. I just moved right around the corner, and I will definitely not be returning . She did an awful lot of socializing with the other girls in the salon, and I don't know if that was to account for how bad these turned out or what, but definitely a disappointment before vacation.

Yelp
Deceptive and deceitful! I texted to ask if they do acrylic nails and I was told yes and so we made an appointment. I paid a ride service to get there, only to be told when I walked in that they do NOT do acrylic! I didn't have time to look for another place so they cost me time and money and I had to go to my event without nails. How dare they lie in order to get me there on false pretenses -- I would never have gone if I'd known they didn't offer acrylic nails. So deceptive and deceitful!

Yelp
I actually gave them a 5 star review on Classpass because the lady asked me to confirm the Classpass at the end of the manicure (instead of checking on the system) and it popped up with a review and I awkwardly felt pressured. I also tipped well because I felt pressured...with that said, my powder dip manicure took over 2 hours and I was in a rush. I asked how much it was for the manicure without Classpass and she said it was $70, but then another lady corrected her and said $80. So I tipped based on this...also the young lady who did my gel pedicure did an incredible job and this review is only negative because of the manicure. No one spoke English to me more than a sentence and while I did my best to try and understand what the nail tech was telling me to do when she was dipping my nails in powder, I am not fluent in Spanish. Yet I was apologizing? I asked if she wanted to use Google Translate because she seemed increasingly frustrated with me for not understanding what she wanted me to do with my hands. She had to redo the tips a few times because she manually dipped them into the powder at wrong angles. She also cut my cuticles way too much and it resulted in a lot of pain. This was on my birthday and I was planning on going home and cleaning before I had people over. It made it difficult and painful....and not such a relaxing start to the day. But just wait. Although the manicure did look really good the first day, it chipped after a few days, then proceeded to lift and get caught on things. When I tried to take off the powder, since most of my nails have it half chipped on right now, it lifted my actual nail bed and created all sorts of terrible and painful damage. See pictures. I truly do feel bad writing a negative review, but I am spending MORE money today to get this manicure fixed or taken off at another place and finding solutions for my weak and frayed nails. Plus I wasted so much money on this and it was supposed to be a treat but now it's embarrassing when people see my hands.

Yelp
Update, after looking at my nails, they weren't properly painted. Pretty bummed out since this was my first mani pedi in months and I was looking forward to a treat! Missing paint on the sides and the base of my nail beds. :(

Yelp
I thought for the price they did an amazing job of my gel mani! Would recommend, they were super detailed on my cuticles and shape of my nails.

Yelp
The ladies are cool. Good staff... but what I'm disappointed by is the quality of work. I paid close to $100 within service and tips and 2 hours later after I leave my nails look like that this..... My gel is almost half gone on my thumb nail and all my nails are rough with air holes and pockets. They look like they need to be sanded down and repolished. I don't think this stuff is off quality because I paid less for the service and had have a much better outcome. I'm not a nail expert, but this can't be ok for the price. Cut my loses.... Live, love and laugh - Sha

Yelp
Danna did a BEAUTIFUL job on my French color manicure yesterday! This is the Gel-X Nail Set and the result is so natural and professional. If you're looking for nail art, Danna is incredible and precise!! I feel ready for Spring now :)

Helene S.

Yelp
Honestly- this place is ridiculous and I really hate to leave bad reviews except when I think it's important. I sat there for three hours to get a gel manicure. THREE hours of my life I will never get back. It was absolutely painful. I will never go back. The one instruction I actually gave for the manicure I wanted was not followed at all. They charged me $20 to remove my prior manicure, which is ridiculous. I am a biweekly nailer and I've never paid $20 to remove a prior manicure on top of the cost of a new one. The entire experience was really disappointing.

Yelp
Got hard gel and tips done by Mayra and I'm literally OBSESSED because she has great attention to detail and took her time to make sure my nails were where I wanted them to be! Only giving four stars because I booked an appointment previously here online and I don't think they check their system. Also the first time I came in I had regular gel done and didn't feel that they were up to par.

Yelp
Clean nail salon with ample selection of polishes! I have gotten my nails done here a few times and overall I've really liked the job done. The salon has a Groupon special for a mani pedi that is worth checking out!

Iliana G.

Yelp
Update: still love the place and the employees but the place lacks transparency in pricing and they don't have a price chart. To remove hard gel it's $20 even if you get it there and a 10 minute massage is $15. Even at request of other customers the place refuses to put a price chart and employees ask each other for prices as if they make it up as they go. It is also illegal to not have a visible price chart and my results today were not as good, picture below Previous review: I have lived in the neighborhood since 2014 and have always struggled to find a place where the customer service matches the skills ! So glad I found this place and Mayra! She's not only sweet but talented. And all the ladies make up feel welcomed ! They've gained a customer for life ! So happy! Mayra es el final

Yelp
Came in for a walk in pedicure...Everyone was so kind, even the other guests, and they did a great job. I've never seen so many gel polish options! Affordable too, so I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Save your $$. I went here on a friday and got my gel manicure but it was terrible. Looked cheap and the women put much on. Fortunately was able to go back to the next day to have it fixed and I was traveling for a week for an event so I had to make sure my nails were redone and properly. However in less than a week my nails chipped, the gel chipped (pictures for reference) and when I got back from my holiday, and I called them, they said "sorry can't help you" , if you called earlier we could. Bro I was on a HOLIDAY and I expect gel to stay on for at least a week. That's not a lot to ask? So I basically paid $55 for a horrible gel manicure. In the last 5 years that I have been getting my nails done, this was the MOST AMATEUR place I've been too. Either they need better products or train their employees more and certainly get better at their customer service. There's way better nails salons around so save your time and money peeps.

Yelp
Ive gotten my nails done here like 3 times now.. Myra has always been AMAZING with my nails/gel tips and they even last up to 3 weeks with minimal to no lifting. But im reallllly upset with the pedicure i got this past time i went.. i made an appointment with Myra and someone else did my pedicure and YANKED my cuticles out (painfully) and now im on vacation - 1 day later - and have a bad infection. The woman cut like 3 of my toe nails to the point where i was stinging and bleeding, she had to put something on them (im assuming some sort of ointment to stop them from bleeding).. she said nothing but i was wondering why she was being this rough considering i havent gotten a pedicure in a long time but have never had a pedicurist pull cuticles like this.. i will continue to get my nails done here because i love Myra's work but i will not use anyone other than Myra and i will not be getting another pedicure here. For the price ($30 for just a regular pedi) i should not have gotten an infection like this... its painful and ugly. Im hesitant to post this review because i feel bad but this shouldn't have happened... im genuinely upset. Even more so, because i couldve went somewhere else for the pedicure but trusted the salon because of my good experiences with Myra.

Yelp
UMMMM!!! Karina is a talented angel who will ensure your nails are PERFECT before you leave. I cannot recommend her and this salon enough. I've been coming here for 2+ years and every pedicure or manicure I've gotten has been impeccable. The attention to detail is unmatched.

Yelp
Sadden, this is the second time I have supported this business for pedicure. The first time was wonderful. Second time I was charged an additional 15 dollars for callus removal, which they didn't know how to do. The bottom of my foot still looked completely untouched. I would chalk it up to lack of experience by the nail techs and not having the proper tools to do anything substantial.Definitely not worth 15 dollars. This was really bad. And a waste of money. I would not recommend them for any add on service.

Yelp
Miriam was amazing! Scheduled a last minute appointment and they were more than helpful. Everyone here is welcoming and super attentive to detail. Plus look at these nails!! Thank you so much!

Yelp
I went searching and searching for a place today to get a mani/pedi. Now I am new to NY but I feel it's overpriced here for what you get normally. Back home a spa pedicure for 30-35 gives you the works. Here you basically get your cuticles cut for just that and it costs 55 and up for anything extra. No thanks. So I went searching and looked around til finally I ran into this place. Now I'm hesitant to leave the review because I want to keep this place to myself but holy hell the value for the money, time spent, and what's included is even better than what I get back home. Welllllllllll done. I can't sing my praises enough and the lady was kind and sweet and actually made conversation. She had no problems when i wanted to try some different colors and just so gracious. So glad I held out looking today and found this gem. Literally puts every salon to shame around here

Yelp
Came here after my workout class because I hadn't gotten a mani pedi in a while. I found this place on Yelp so I thought I'd try it out! Overall, I really love how my nails turned out, but the process of getting them done could have been a little better. The women who did my nails was really talented, but she looked like she didn't want to be there and kept taking phone calls during my pedicure. Also they didn't have a drying station (which I thought was a little absurd), they only use small portable fans to dry your nails and toes. Those are all pretty minor complaints though, I think the salon is definitely worth visiting, and honestly it has some pretty unbeatable prices for Williamsburg. $30 for a mani-pedi is hard to find in the area nowadays. Also, most of the ladies that work here are really friendly and hardworking. Glad I discovered this place and I'd probably come back!

Yelp
I had never heard of this place before and found it through a special deal. I am soooo happy and pleased! Zhanina was so wonderful and patient. She really took care of me. I was in shock when she scrubbed my feet. She took layers that I didn't even know existed. She has a special potion that is all natural and what a miracle it was! My toenails are all cleaned and filed perfectly. You won't be disappointed! It's worth trying this place out!

Yelp
When I go to a nail salon one of the most important things is cleanliness. This place is always on point. Iv been here only twice but Iv had great experiences every time. Efficient and thorough, my nails looks great every time. If you have to wait it's worth it, I recommend making an appointment this place can get busy. Every station is cleaned and the pedicure tubs are lined with plastic that's thrown out after every customer, AMEN. A basic pedi is $30 which is def not the cheapest. All of the women who work here seem to be very professional and friendly. I will definitely be returning and if you are looking for a local nail salon I suggest you give these guys a try.

Yelp
I've been to Brooklyn Nails & Spa and have gotten some impeccable work here done on my nails by Julie. She is usually my go to person and takes very good care of me and my other two friends who I always come here with. I really hope she is available sometime this week so I can have my nails fixed by her. Yesterday, I came here with my roommates and sadly, the experience was simply not up to par. Firstly, my first friend who came for a gel fill waited in the chair for almost an hour before someone was able to take her. I have gotten !!!very!!! intricate gel nails here done by Julie and with every finger having a different design, she charges me 65$. This time, my friend got two nails with designs and still got charged the 65$? You're telling me that a regular gel manicure is 35$ and you were able to charge her an additional 15$ per design? That isn't okay. Secondly, while 3 of us were getting pedicures, my roommate's massage chair was not working properly. This is fine, but she wasn't comped for her experience whatsoever, not even 5$. In addition, the lady taking care of her chipped her nail polish and when my roommate called it out the woman simply replied "Yeah, it's broken!" I'm glad she also realized LOL but she didn't even bother fixing it for her. Then, she proceeded to charged her 40$!!!! for a regular pedicure when the prices on the wall are much lower. Thirdly, my other roommate who was getting a gel pedicure had them cut way too short and didn't even bother sitting down for a manicure because she was so upset with the outcome of her pedicure. Thankfully, my pedicure went okay, but my gel manicure was done by someone who seems like they were getting trained. I understand that training is part of learning, but if I'm paying money for a service I would rather have the trainee shadow than actually work on my nails. This proved to be a poor experience again when I woke up this morning and my gel nails have all types of bubbles in them and my cuticles just look like a big hot mess. I then spent 10 minutes at the cash register going back and forth about the pricing of the gel manicure + regular pedicure, which very clearly states 60$ not on just one wall, but two. They were trying to charge me 65$ and only after calling it out like 5 different times was I finally offered the 60$ price. I am so upset by my experience here and felt so upset because my roommates did not have a good experience and in all honesty, neither did I. I will be coming back one more time for Julie to fix my nails before a dinner I have on Friday and unless she is available, I don't think I have interest in coming here again. I am so incredibly disappointed and wish I could give my experience a 5 star rating, but I simply can't. I really didn't want to have to post this review and I think the 3 stars I'm giving here are very generous, but as a very loyal and happy customer I hope that a manager or a supervisor can reach out and offer some form of compensation because yesterday's experience did not live up to the amazing time I've always had with Julie at Brooklyn Nails & Spa and I really hope it doesn't happen again. :(

Ashley W.

Yelp
HORRIBLE! My fingers were bleeding multiple times and the whole experience was completely painful and unprofessional. I should've left the second they started pushing my cuticles aggressively in the second I sat down without soaking first. So many bad things to say about this place sadly. What an uncomfortable and unsanitary experience.

Yelp
An ok experience..can't say I'm blown away. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Got the job done. I just wanted a quick repolish so that wasn't too hard..very chic spot.

Walked in for a gel mani pedi. Alexandra took care of me and my nails look amazing! She took her time and was so patient. I think I found my new nail spot! The place was so clean and the staff was so friendly. Highly recommend

Yelp
I wished I would've checked out the reviews sooner * I literally spent three hours in the salon that was pretty much empty * the pedicure chair was broken. * I could've done this pedicure myself * I was charged an additional fee and it wasn't communicated to me properly *They were kind, but the manager sarcastically told me "ohhh, I guess you're lucky " when I explained that I've yet to pay for an SNS removal & didn't know she charged It was my first time trying this salon , so I figured a Groupon would be safe because your first time at a new establishment is a risk that you take. The moment my pedicure begun, I knew I was in trouble. The young girl that assisted was sweet but judging by her pace , I could tell that she was new and not quite experienced. My foot cramped several times due to the positioning and timing of the pedicure .The machine was also broken , so my toes sunk in frigid motionless water. A woman that appeared to be the manager asked me about various nail shapes once I showed the Groupon. Then casually mentioned the additional prices , in which I explained I'll just stick with a natural shape, no need for anything extra. She kept saying it's just $10 and again I stated I was fine with something natural . I sat and had my SNS polished removed ( most nails were gone and I spent a majority of that time soaking them) Finally after an hour & a half, it was time for my SNS manicure. There was miscommunication amongst them and as they switched in front of me, I kindly reminding them to add tips. Not only did I spend three hours getting a simple service done in an empty salon , but when it was time for me to leave I mention that I wanted to tip them but I don't have cash I would like to use my card. That's when the manager told me that the SNS removal was an additional $10. My normal spot does it for free and their website doesn't state anything about there being a charge for the service. They were kind, but the manager sarcastically told me "ohhh, I guess you're lucky " when I explained that I've yet to pay for an SNS removal..... I hate to say it but I believe that she purposely charged me for this in fear that I wouldn't tip because I use the coupon. Notice how adamant she was about charging me $10? However I have integrity, so I explained to her that she could've informed me when It was being done . I still left a tip because I don't think the nail techs should suffer due to Her mischievous ways. So the next best bet was to leave a review on yelp, because I want my peers to be informed and not have to deal with this either It's not about the money , it's the principle...

Yelp
Me encantan las uñas I feel so bad I didn't ask for a name but two very sweet ladies this morning did an amazing job, to not just me but my friend loved her Neón Color nails too!

Tayler C.

Yelp
Got hard gel tips by Mayra and I love them so much! She did an amazing job and gave extra attention to detail from length, to shape, and design. Highly recommend!! They also do a great job with waxing! Another employee did my eyebrows, I didn't catch her name, but my brows are looking great!

Jeanette E.

Yelp
Hoy me atendió Mayra y de verdad te ganaste tu 5 estrellas. Eres atenta y dedicada. Gracias por poner mi manos hermosas!! Nos veremos pronto!!

T T.

Yelp
I've been going to the nail specialist, Mayra, for a year or so now. If I find a design I want on Pinterest or Instagram, she will be able to replicate it with no issues. Lately, I've been discussing with her how I want a less heavy product on my nails and one that causes the least amount of damage. She used this brush on builder gel (Orly) which is amazing. It has the hardness of hard gel and luminary but it is very natural looking and with an easy brush-on application. I think she and the salon are very accommodating in all their services and I've seen her and her coworkers work with everyone to ensure they like their nails when they leave. Honestly, I wish I can write a review every time I go because the whole team is amazing. I suggest everyone come here because the versatile styles and services provided fit anyone.

Valerie E.

Yelp
Mayra was amazing! She was very careful to make sure I got exactly what wanted and even was trying multiple colors on my nails to make sure I loved the color. I would highly recommend!

Yelp
I had issues the moment they started doing my acrylic nails. I am not professional but have been getting my nails done with acrylics for at least a decade, so I know when someone doesn't know what they are doing. when 2 different people were working on my nails because 1 was clearly a beginner and learning, I stated my concern when I saw how she cut one of the nails and the nail was completely crooked. then the other woman completely took over, I then started to get concerned again because it seemed that she skipped a whole process and when she was putting the dip powder on, it was not all the way down to my cuticle. she said "no that will go on the 2nd coat". none of this made sense to me as I said I've been getting my nails done forever and this was NEVER the process. once the magical 2nd coat went on I showed her that there was still parts where there was no color, so she frantically put on another coat on some nails. my nails were not filed down so I have thick layers of dip powder at the top of my nail, but one sheer thin layer near the cuticle. Now I wasn't going to leave this review but its 6 DAYS LATER, and 6 of the tips have fallen off. 2 fell off because I went to put my phone in my pocket. Do not waste your $75 and just go somewhere else, I'm not even going back to get these fixed.

Jayme A.

Yelp
Honestly I've been to better nail salons around the area. I originally wanted to get tips done since I wanted a longer nail look and the nail tech didn't seem too into doing my nails. Almost as if doing my nails was a burden so I decided no tips. I wanted to do an ombré look but she also didn't seem to happy about my decision so I had to settle for SNS nails. Overall I'm dissatisfied and disappointed with the nail outcome, one of the nails is super bumpy, the overall look is very basic and something I could have done at home. Very limited color choices and just overall below average. Also they don't know they're prices. Online SNS is listed as $35 however I paid $40. My sister paid an extra $5 for a glittery nail when ONLINE "nail art" is listed as an extra $2 dollars. Overall dissatisfied

Yelp
You wouldn't believe me when I tell you me and my girls were there from 6:30pm -11pm. We got there 10 min late due to rush hours traffic and they assumed we weren't making it even after giving a courtesy call. Once we got in, they tried giving us a guilt trip cause we were late. There wasn't any need for that. They didn't take us until 7pm. They were scattering around like ants trying to coordinate who was going to take who (it was 3 of us, not 7 or 10) This place was so disorganized and all of their staff left at 8pm as scheduled which didn't bother me at all but what really got me was when the lady in charge that night told the girl "you cant leave" and the girl said "I mean you guys have the girls under control and I cleaned up, its 40 min past my shift and my ride is waiting outside" the lady responds " you cant go we are busy" then the girl responds "do you want me to sit here and look at you guys work?" and the lady said "yes". I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The reason we stood till 11 was because 1/3 nail tech new what they were doing so 2 of us had tech that started the job and then we had to wait for the senior tech to finish the job. We missed out dinner reservations so yes we were HANGRY. Just avoid this place, my nails were absolute trash

Yelp
DO NOT GO HERE. Went here to get my nails done for my birthday and endured one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. I sat for FOUR HOURS to get subpar SNS nails. Which broke. On my birthday. Furthermore, their website says $40 and they charged me $65. Honestly spare yourself from this place, it's a disaster

Yelp
I've been here a few times and finally decided to write a review. This place is so so great! I'm extremely picky about my nails and have never had a good experience (I've tried many "5-star" places and always left disappointed). The nail tech here took her time despite it being near closing time. She paid close attention to detail and did a wonderful job, I'll definitely be coming back! I've also gotten my hair blown out, and both times the stylists did a good job. Unfortunately I'm not sure what their names are. All of the staff here is warm and friendly. I've spoken to the owner a few times, she's a sweetheart and genuinely cares about her customers. They have some deals you can see online (mainly nails & wax). An extra plus is 5% off for students! Prices: Regular Mani: $12 Wash and blowout: $30 Note: They take card but charge, bring cash instead.

Yelp
I was very pleased when I found this wonderful nail salon. It was filled with lovely smiling people who greeted me when I walked in. I had a manicure and pedicure on my first visit. The girl who did my manicure was super precise, and offered me some nice suggestions as to colour and the type of nail polish I chose. She listened to what it was I requested, and checked I was happy. One of my nails had half-torn pretty low and she very kindly added some special glue to stick it back together until it grew, as otherwise it would have torn completely and I would have been in quite some pain. On a subsequent visit I came for waxing and got to meet Zhanina, the lovely owner. I was greeted with smiles, when I walked in, and everyone even remembered my name! Zhanina was very sweet and gentle, and made the experience as pain free as possible, I was just having facial waxing. I truly enjoyed a wonderful conversation with Zhanina about life in Ecuador and life in NYC etc... and felt like I'd made a new friend afterwards. Also, my eyebrows were beautifully shaped, thick, as I had wanted, but beautifully shaped, I was very, very happy. I have actually come to really love this salon, and I will often pop in when I am walking past just to say hello. Sometimes even staying for a coffee. It is a true community inside, on all my visits I have found myself in an interesting conversation with other clients there as well, most of which are from South America, and found I have actually learned a lot about different cultures through this. Definitely a place I recommend.

Yelp
I would give zero star if I could. Called to schedule an appointment on a Saturday @9am. Came and waited almost 2 hours before I could do my nails so I spent 3 hours just doing manicure alone on Saturday. I would never go back to a place like this. not worth my time. I ended up tipping the nail girl for $20 bc it's not her fault. The owner overbooked her own place. Whatever, poor services ruined the weekend.

Yelp
Truly a great experience! I was able to get my hair and nails done, plus a facial and a massage all in one place. A Woman's Dream! My hairstylist Adia has been in the neighborhood for years and she never disappoints! I come in with a ideas and she masters it. Won't change her for the world. The nail techs are skilled in their work and always go beyond what I expect. I show them any design and they are able to make a masterpiece. Especially, Lorena, she also never disappoints! Make sure to go on Monday - Thursday, I usually take advantage of the $30 deal. Includes Basic mani & pedi + a free 10 minute massage!

Yelp
I was very unimpressed by this salon. I booked a gel manicure with my friend. Not only did the nail technician cut me twice (making me beed quite a bit actually), but the gel fell off after 3 days! I was completely shocked at this as gel normally stays on without chipping for a few weeks... I'd expect a full week at least.

Yelp
Beyond Horrible Service... I should have known a nail salon that was completely empty at 11am on a Saturday morning was a sign to run away. Afropunk + Fashion Week should have yielded customers; however I see why no one wants service from this place. It was a 5 minute walk from my hotel, and one of the ladies who work there recommended it. I booked a Gel Manicure, and Lavender Pedicure. Services began with the pedicure. I am baffled at the fact that nail technicians always want to cut cuticles (without asking the customer first). It had been 3.5 weeks since my last pedicure, there was nothing to cut even if I'd asked for it. I had to tell Myra the technician 4 times NOT TO CUT MY CUTICLES. I have never had to continue to tell someone to stop cutting my cuticles. Aside from having to continue swatting flies that were present, Myra beyond rough was rough the entire time. Three (3) of my toes began bleeding due to how close she cut to the skin. She began to put some sort of powder to stop the bleeding. When I asked what it was she had no answer. She saw nothing wrong with what she was doing. The abrasive nature in which she buffed my feet, was beyond unacceptable. The polish job was awful. After the polish was done I literally put on my socks and sneakers because the job was insanely unacceptable. I cancelled the nail appointment as I couldn't stand to be there another moment. She asked "are you sure you don't want the manicure"? I said I am positive - I just need to leave. I paid for the service and left. his was a waste of both time and my money. $76 and two hours later. I would never recommend this place to anyone, not even if the services are free. This was one of the worst experiences of my life.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible! I arrived at 8:00 am on Friday morning and had 2 broken nails. Shanina took care of me and got it all done in less than 15 minutes. Extremely hospitable and kind, clean space and one of the only nail salons in brooklyn that open at 8:00 am! Thank you so much Shanina!

Yelp
I picked this spa because it's one of the few that stays opened until 9pm.. I showed up at 8:25pm and they were nothing but gracious upon entering. The girls there were amazing! I can't rave enough how in love with my nails I am.. will definitely come back!
