I planned a 50/30 Mother and Daughter SURPRISE Birthday Party here. It was amazing! Everybody had a great time. The Venue had an intimate lounge atmosphere. Setup had a taste of elegance. The staff was on point with everything. The bartender did his thing and Tom the owner was the best. He keep everything in order. Security was great. Thank you Tom for an unforgettable evening!

What a great experience I had planning my 30th birthday/graduation party at Brooklyn Party Space last summer! Tom, the owner, is an old-school, pen-and-paper kind of guy, but he was extremely kind and accommodating to my needs. It's clear that he is not in the business of price gouging or ripping anyone off. He only recommended upgrades or packages that seemed helpful or necessary for the event. I would recommend the decoration package for less stress in setting up your event. On the day of my event, Tom was very active to ensure that things ran smoothly. He even helped when I had difficulty transfering my cake from the bakery box to the cake stand. Many of my guests were impressed with how the event turned out, and one even used the space to host her baby shower. The only negative feedback I did receive was that the bartender made strong drinks but seemed annoyed throughout the event. Overall, I would definitely use this space again!

We recently used this venue for my father’s repast, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The space was accommodating, comfortable, and fit our family’s needs perfectly. Tom made the booking process simple and stress-free, which meant so much during a difficult time. Stacy, the doorman, went above and beyond to make everyone feel safe, welcome, and treated us like family. I’m so grateful for their kindness and professionalism. I would absolutely return and highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a warm, well-run space.

Very Late review but good. Hosted my daughters Sweet 15 Great Gatsby theme party there. When I first pulled up to the location it looked a bit sketchy….. but so glad we walked in there. Its gorgeous. The management was way to work with. Booking the DJ through them was easy and he knew the sound system so no worries with that. Security at the door . A few years have past my my daughter still talks about it

Simply amazing spot!!!! The price is right the vibe is amazing, the hosts are so pleasant and accommodating. The website is straight forward, no gimmicks. It's a place for people of all ages, transform it it for what ever event u want. We had my mothers 70th Birthday Party there and it was great. She was totally blown away by the place (and she is very hard to please when it comes to quality). I knew she would like it but she came days after to say that place was really really nice! If my mom was pleased then you will be too.

Just had our baby shower here and it was a BLAST. We had around 120 people in attendance, all of whom said they liked the way the venue had distinct spaces to hang, eat, and dance. Our guests also had an easy time with the parking + public transportation. Working with Samantha and Tom was super easy, they are both extremely professional and responsive. We got creative with a few of our needs and the costs were all very reasonable. We brought our own food, drinks, and DJ; collaborated with the space on our decorations; and leveraged their bar tender and clean up support. Would highly recommend this same approach. Everything looked polished and organized, without a ton of effort. Big thanks for our entire--growing!--family.

Had my father's 80th birthday party here and had a wonderful experience. Tom, the owner is very easy to work with and was flexible in terms of accommodating our needs. The venue was affordable and offered several add-ons for decor, etc. The space is unique in its lounge/style vibe which was perfect for the mix of guests that we had.

The most amazing venue to throw a party. I had my 40th & my mom's 65th birthday here and it was beautiful. The service was top-notch, and the ambiance was superb. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a venue to host an event. You won't be disappointed. Tom is the sweetest man, the bartender is amazing, Sandy is so communicative and caring. And the rest of the staff was amazing. Thank you so much. I look forward to hosting there again.

We worked with Tom to throw my daughter a birthday party. She was looking for a school dance theme and even during the day this space provided us the perfect venue! The pricing was beyond reasonable and Tom was extremely helpful. The set up was perfect with a dance floor, buffet area for food with warming station available and provided as needed, desert table and gift area. My daughter couldn't have been happier. And there was plenty of amenities provided to help us with last minute set up details. I would definitely plan another party at this venue.

Brooklyn Party Space was a perfect place to host my son's first birthday party. Tom and Sandy were VERY accommodating and super helpful! They brought my ideas to life. I had my 50th birthday party here and when I tell you this place is beautiful. I ordered the colors that I wanted and it was a casino theme party and when I walked in I almost cried because the place was so beautiful. when my friends came in they were in awwww I had my party November 11, 2022 and a week later my family and friends are still talking about how great the party was. thank you to all the staff my bartender, my security Tom for overseeing everything Samantha and Sandy for answering all my questions. I had a great time and I would recommend this place to anyone that was interested in having a party this place is definitely a hidden treasure thank you again

Just hosted my daughter's 21st Birthday Party here. To say we had an amazing experience from the day we booked until the day we had our event is an understatement. Tom and all of his staff (office and at the space itself) we're fabulous. They kept in constant communication with us following the booking process to make sure our event was exactly what we wanted. They absolutely exceeded our expectations. Our event went off flawlessly and their staff kept the food and drinks flowing throughout the entire night. We would HIGHLY recommend them for any event. Added some pictures of the decor they provided through one of their party packages. Thanks again Tom and staff for making my daughters night so very special!

This quaint venue is perfect for a moderate sized party, I would guesstimate that 100 people would fit comfortably. The space is open but somewhat sectioned off. The sound system is loud and plays clear. The staff was pleasant and there was also a bouncer at the door. The restrooms were clean and there were no awkward smells. I would say it is great for any party type from a 1st birthday to a 50th birthday. Given this is in the modest industrial area on Dean St there are not many issues with street parking.

Brooklyn Party Space is the best place to have any event. I had my baby shower here and we had a little over 100 guests and it was very fitting. The space was very accommodating. I loved the fact I was able to pay for the decoration package and the colors were just as I asked for. Tom was very accommodating and was amazing and hands on as needed. From the moment I saw this place I knew this was it to have it. Paying for clean up also saved the day because that was very convenient. My guests enjoyed themselves as well and everyone raved about the space. The bartender Tyler was very nice and the guests enjoyed the drinks. Thank you Tom and Brooklyn Party Space, we will for sure have another event here.

Highly recommend. My daughter had her 16th birthday party here and we are so glad we did. We chose a decoration package, We were able to choose her favorite colors, down to table cloths/sashes, balloons, and it looked amazing. They have a great buffet table set up, so All we had to do was bring the food. It had a lounge vibe, and a dance floor. You can adjust lighting, with dimming, strobe lights, etc. So you can have a lounge vibe, party club vibe, whatever you like. DJ area had all the sound equipment, we chose to not have DJ, and were able to use the system for our own playlist. Sound System was great. I will definitely use this space again. My daughter and her friends had a blast. Thank you Tom for all your help!!

My fiance and I held our engagement party with Tom, Samantha, and their team. Now that we've both recovered from the awesome night that we had, we'd like to take the time to send a heartfelt thank you to the Brooklyn Party Space team. From Tom and Samantha, to Froilan our bartender, to the decorators, and even the security guard, your professionalism, timely communication, flexibility, and utter willingness to see our event dreams to fruition made our day that much more special and enjoyable. My party planner, who also worked very closely with Samantha, also infinitely sings their praises. Keep up the wonderful work! You guys are truly awesome!

Tom came through for my family when my mom passed and we needed a place to host the repass. When the church is right down the street and you need some place to flow from the funeral to where the folks attending can come together and mourn, as they all did for my mom, Brooklyn Party Space was ideal. Food was catered and brought to the space; they had all that we needed to send my mom off in style.

Brooklyn Party Space is a great venue for your next event. From beginning to end the staff was professional, warm and accommodating. I held my baby shower there on 4/28/18 and I was so pleased and my guests were so impressed.  The venue was very chic, with two dining areas, one lounge area, kitchenette, a DJ booth and a coat room.  After we secured the date we wanted to have the baby shower earlier than our agreed upon 8pm-2am, when the earlier time slot of 6pm-12am became available we were notified immediately.  Tom, the owner, even recommended the baker and  photo booth company that we used for the event.  The venue is in downtown Brooklyn with ample street parking (still have to watch those parking signs) to accommodate our 100 guests. When we arrived, the venue was decorated and set up, just as agreed upon.  The staff was incredibly helpful, with unloading our food, beverages, additional decorations etc.  Tom was present and hands on for the entire event, providing us with fold out tables for games and to use as a prop table for the photo booth and just making sure the event went as smoothly as possible.  Stacey, the doorman, helped our guests with directions over the phone, where to find parking and carried large gifts inside.  The bartender was so personable and involved; he even remembered the guests' go-to drinks. He also resealed and packed all leftover beverages, neatly.  At the end of the evening, Stacey loaded our vehicles with the gifts, leftover food and beverages.  Our guests flooded our Facebook/Instagram comments with: "BEST BABY SHOWER EVER", "YOUR BABY SHOWER WAS LITTTT" and a number of inquires about the venue.  I hope this review helps you make the BROOKLYN PARTY SPACE, the space for your next event. --

on 6/4/22 I gave my husband a 60th birthday party there. The staff was amazing. Everyone was kind, courteous and patient. The place was decorated better than I envisioned it. It was very clean it and it smelled good. I must say this place didn't disappoint me at all. From the first call to the last they were helpful, insightful and a pleasure to work with. I will definitely use them again. If your looking for a venue for your next event The Brooklyn Party Place is the spot to get. Parking was close with no issues. I had my Husband's 50th/Retirement Party at Brooklyn Party Space and it was phenomenal!! It was everything thing I wanted and more. Tom was very helpful, and the bartender and serving staff were great. I highly recommend Brooklyn Party Space to any and everyone!!

My 50 Again Birthday Party and celebration was amazing and I am thankful to Tom and his entire staff for all of their hard work, kindness and dedication to making my event superb!! Brooklyn Party Space was where my job's Christmas Party was held and the space is very nice and grand. When you first walk in there is a small area set up for a few tables and a buffet set up if you wish along with a bar tending station. Past that there are more tables, a spacious and cute coat check room, a DJ booth, a tv area and a dance area with mirrors as you all can see from the nice pictures other people posted. My only complaint is that I wish the bathrooms had a more intimate and spacious set up. One is very small and both of them lead to a common hand washing area in the middle of the part space. Also the bartender looked surly. I tried to tip him but he looked miserable the whole time. Maybe someone stole his personality, Maybe because we ran out of alcohol pretty early and he had to conserve the precious but I wasn't feeling him much.

I booked Brooklyn Party Space for my boyfriend's 30th birthday party and it was absolutely wonderful. We had about 50 guests. For what I paid(which was a great price) the event was fully decorated, there was a professional bartender, coat room, buffet table with chafers, access to DJ equipment and more. Everything was perfect. I loved that everyone was willing to work with me and answer all of my crazy questions(at any time of day) There's an option to have personalized signage designed, framed and placed throughout the venue. I wanted to take advantage of this but unfortunately I didn't have many photos of my boyfriend(he's not a photo person.) Samantha magically made a way out of no way and had the photos I sent her(that were poor quality) retouched for the graphic. It was beautiful! I could tell that everyone wanted the event to be successful and everyone worked to make it great! Also - The bartender Manny is absolutely amazing! He also made sure that everything ran smoothly and he packed up everything for me at the end of the night! Overall, I can honestly say I will have my next event or party at Brooklyn Party Space. I have ZERO complaints.

I had my father's surprise birthday party here and thanks again to Tom and his amazing staff. I will absolutely recommend this place to anyone and I will absolutely do business with Tom and Brooklyn party space again. The venue was very nice. Had a warm feeling to it. Tom, the owner was very accommodating and helped out with things we forgot. You can set the place as you like and it there are different packages for people. it was very beautiful and the sound system was on point. The only problem I have is I think the price was kind of high for the space. This is the only reason this gets 4 stars instead of five.

This lounge atmosphere was perfect for my baby shower this past weekend. All my guests were impressed with the layout and decor. Tom and Samantha were a pleasure to work with & met every single request I made. My day was a huge success ! I would Definitely have future events here.

First thing first i had my big 30th burthday yesterday and it was beautiful how tom and the workers took care of everything they did everything for you all my guest were impress with how elegant the place is and how they took care of everything. I love this place and i got engaged lastnight also and i am so happy. I will have all my event there from now on the place is elegant. My engagement party is next i cant wait.

I was introduced to this venue after my friend had an engagement party here (which was set up gorgeous by the way). I had my baby shower here and the service was great. The staff that attended my event was sure to place everything where it belonged (from food to utensils). They also helped carry things in for the shower. The bartender was super friendly. And the parking here is pretty decent for the area (I had about 50 guests who all found parking). Overall, I would always recommend this venue to anyone. The prices are reasonable, and the service is great!

For the money you can't go wrong with this spot. Super friendly people. Nice atmosphere, my daughters sweet 16 was excellent. When I problems with my Banner, they figured out a SOLUTION AND SAVED THE DAY.I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS. DEF RECOMMEND THIS VENUE. It's Brooklyn so parking can be tricky,but on weekends usually no prob. Just don't block the bus company next door or you will come out and your car will be gone. But overallI give it five stars.

My family and I were looking for a space to host our aunts 77th birthday party and I came across Brooklyn party space. First let me start by saying Samantha was amazing! She definitely knows what she is doing and very good at it. From my first meeting with her she assured us that she understood our vision and would be able to execute it. They have two locations and we were referred to their 2nd location Brooklyn party space Pacific location which was a much bigger and spacious party space! You have room for a dance floor a stage and a very large party which was exactly what we were looking for. The staff was extremely helpful and professional! They made sure we had everything we needed and that our guest had a good time. The bartender was the BEST! ;-) I could go on and on but if you are looking for a place to host any event Brooklyn party space Pacific should be at the top of your list! They are extremely accommodating, professional and efficient from beginning to end. Samantha was always available when needed and we appreciate all her hard work and from my family to the Brooklyn party space Pacific family we thank you and HIGHLY recommend you to everyone! Great space to have an event. My friend had her 30th birthday party here and the venue was beautiful and the staff was helpful. The location is a little dark but I guess most people in New York like that anyway.

I had my 40th Birthday party here in early September 2019 and it was AMAZING!! Tom and Sandy exceeded all of my expectations and gave me the ultimate experience. At first I thought the space was too small to accommodate my guests but Tom was right, it easily held 80 and upward people, in hindsight I could have invited 100 + with ease. Every demand that I made Tom met. He gave the space extra care, cleaning and attention. On the night of his staff helped me set up extra details, they helped my decorator and helped me to give away extra food at the end of the night. From the cake table, which was phenomenal to my guest space and head table no detail was left to chance. I' m a picky Virgo and they completely met my every criticism, concern and soothed me along the way. I'm still beaming and getting compliments for my event and I couldn't have done it without this team. Additionally, the bartender was on point and the security guard helped me and my family at every turn. I would choose no other venue for my milestone event and now I fully see why this place stays booked. 5 stars to a venue, experience and time like no other. I truly felt like a queen for the night! Also their decorations more than exceeded anything I needed for the night. Book this place now!!

I live in Atlanta, GA however my family immediate and extended all reside in Bklyn, NY. I will begin with the staff is absolutely fantastic!! Samantha I will say is the greatest! I was planning my son's baptism, my vow renewal and my daughter's sweet 16 all within a five week time frame and Sam made it so stress free and if there was a problem she fixed it or proposed a variety of solutions. She spent time speaking with me, getting to know me and my vision and I truly believe she did everything and beyond to understand it and make it happen. She was prompt, professional, humorous and responsive and personable really she was I wish I could've met her! She provided food options, DJ, photographers, cake etc which made things so easy for me especially being out of state. Her staff the night of Ålana and F (forgive I can't remember his name) both were accommodating, polite and professional if I could've taken them home lol. The bartender let me tell you ASK for him he made the drinks sooo awesome I guess there's good and bad to that lol but let me tell you delicious was everything he served! The DJ had the dance floor going my mother, my aunts whom are all over 58 were out on the dance floor with us and by us I mean my 10 year old, my 16 year old me (36) and my 45 year old husband to give you insight and trust me they (mom, aunts and hubby) don't dance! The venue has a great look and the floor plan is great for gatherings. I do a lot of events 9/10 are in NY my do differently is I wish I would've had my baby shower there 9 months ago but I do know my next event will be there! The team at Brooklyn Party Space went above and beyond ex. when the chair vendor didn't supply what was expected/ordered Sam and her team were shellacking chairs and thinking outside the boxes to cover the seats and let me tell you she called me, she was always very transparent I wasn't worried by no means and let me tell you when I say I knew she would handle it and didn't think about it again I didn't; not until we got there and I loved what she did! Oh and her photographer Mike awesome sauce when I say candid pics I mean the looks on our faces were priceless! You can tell the mood of the event just by the pictures, they were clear and there's this one he took of my husband and I through a reflection in the mirror pure talent! If your looking for an all inclusive venue outside of food by all means this is your place. They have a long time customer in me and my family I received tons of compliments and what bride/customer doesn't want that! My next event is my son's birthday and hopefully a baby shower but either way Brooklyn Party Space and team Sam will be my first and only call try it you will be ecstatic that you did!

My husband booked this venue for his 50th birthday party today. He has been calling them for months since the Coronavirus has affected NY. We no longer live in NY but the majority of his friends are there. Today they tell him they are issuing vouchers. This is unacceptable. It is not his fault or their fault but they could take out a reasonable amount for a deposit and refund the rest. I can see someone who had a baby shower scheduled rescheduling for a 1st birthday but who is rescheduling a milestone birthday? They just don't want to refund the money as all business are losing money. But do you really think that after all of this hassle we would even think about using your space ever again? So it's just a $1000 down the drain. If I could give less than 1 star I would. This is an unprecedented event. With people losing jobs and needing money, their inability to be flexible speaks volumes. I would not recommend this place to my family or friends much less give them a voucher to waste more money on.

Update: I received a call from Samantha, owner of the space. I commend and appreciate her efforts of tracking me down with the limited information she had from my original post. She explained and sincerely apologized for the poor experience I had. We had a good conversation in which she listened to my concerns, seemed opened to a suggestion made as well as seeming genuinely apologetic. The customer service from this call was way better than what I experienced the first go round and I can appreciate. Thank you Samantha for calling, explaining, and trying to make things right.

I had my baby shower at Brooklyn Party Space and I am so happy I booked this venue. The staff at this venue definitely took away a lot of the stress involved in planning an event. The place is gorgeous with many different sections. There's a lounge area, which is very cozy and beautifully lit, a dance floor, areas for dining, a buffet, a bar, etc. The prices were very reasonable for a Friday night. Tom was great to work with. Very patient, helpful, kind and he answered my many many questions lol! The night of the party, he made sure that I and all my guests were well taken care of and that everything was running smoothly. Samantha worked so well within my budget for the decoration package I added and I was so impressed. The decorations for my butterfly themed event was everything I wanted and more. Samantha truly went above and beyond my expectations with the decor and I was very happy :) All my guests were just amazed with the decorations and there were nothing but compliments the whole night. The staff that was present for the night were also pleasant and made sure my guests were taken care of as well.
