Nice spot we have here, we live a few blocks away and we decided to give them a try. They sell a lot of pizzas! First I tried one slice Hawaiian pizza and one square pie to go. Then I went with my husband dining there both ways food was delicious and a affordable price. We ordered panini and lasagna homemade. They serve you without having to wait to much time. Staff is very appreciative and attentive. They also have a part were you can do catering for your private events

Google
I ordered a large pizza for delivery from here. I live around the corner and TBH wouldn’t have ordered it via DoorDash if I had realized where it was coming from. I’m sorry to say that it was the worst pizza I’ve ever had that wasn’t frozen. Every element tasted like it was from a can. Not one single thing tasted fresh. I ate half of one slice and threw the rest away.

Google
I ordered three grandma's pizza, there were delicious. My family loved it. This pizza is tasty, it comes with fresh basil and lots of cheese, the crust is crispy, just right. When this pizza is reheated it tasted as fresh as when it was delivered. Thanks

Google
Food is been great every-time! (I get the baby cheese pie, it’s honestly wayyyy more than enough for two) The gave complimentary fried dough and it was delicious so I get it everytime now.

Google
The price is affordable. The pizza is ok. The sauce is ok. The cheese is ok. They make oddly shaped pies. They give free zeppoles with orders over a certain price. The choice is yours. I'm good though. Time to find another restaurant.

Google
One of the best neighborhood pizzerias. I've been ordering hete for years and they haven't failed. Pasta can be a bit chessy but still delicious.

Google
Ordered the veggie pizza and it didn't even look like a pizza.....more like a really thin flatbread. They didn't even bother to make a crust. The veggies were soggy and flavorless. The entire thing was just unenjoyable. Additionally, the zepolis we're too hard to bite....not fresh at all. If I could get my money back, I would, because I'm definitely not eating this.

Google
Mediocre pizza joint. (Pizza ordered: veggie pizza). Crust was actually very well made and had a really good taste. Plentiful toppings of fresh veggies included peppers, onion, mushrooms, and broccoli. Spinach was not fresh however ( bland taste and wet, soggy texture showed clear signs of either canned or box frozen spinach ). Peppers were cut WAY too huge which looks nice but made it difficult to take a normal bite and enjoy. Cheese has a decent pull and was very good. I would have liked it to be a bit more crispy on the bottom. It was floppy and soggy to where the toppings almost wanted to fall off. Nothing a good hit in the skillet wouldn't fix, but... I'm ordering out so I don't have to make or fix pizza. Might be personal preference though. You may like a softer crust. Honestly there is better pizza to be found in Brooklyn. If you're looking for some not-terrible pizza at an okay price, order away! If you want a true, NYC / BK pizza experience - there are better places.

Yelp
Tried adding the pics to the review I posted back in May. Now I can't seem to upload them unless I type 85 characters or more

Yelp
Decent Brooklyn pie, fast service, place looked clean. Guys behind the counter seemed pleasant. A line formed while I waited for my order, so it seems the local community liked this place. I thought the crust could be crisper, a bit white and doughy. But all in all, I would eat another slice and try other items while in the area.

Yelp
Very typical pizza joint headquarters!!! I enjoy speaking to the staff learning the neighborhood and most importantly connecting with people is my ultimate passion and mission when traveling. However, the ambiance was your typical small cozy pizza parlor. I'll give the pizza 5/10
google avatar

Yelp
Very kind service. Looks clean inside. The place is a pretty typical slice joint. Pizza was edible but nothing to say about it beyond that. I'm not sure if there's better slices nearby in the area. It was cheap. I'd probably opt for something else if I was looking for quick cheap eats in the neighborhood.

Kerryann B.

Yelp
Pizza was stale, hard like cardboard, no cheese and drowned in bbq sauce with rubbery chicken placed on top. BBQ chicken pizza.

Yelp
I'm literally giving this place 5 stars. This was the BEST pizza I ever had in my life. This place is authentic and real Italians. My son reported that he would live in Brooklyn just to eat this pizza. My son was influenced to learn the Italian language because the pizza and customer service was pleasant. This place is in East Brooklyn surrounded by islanders. There is a hustler on every block and of course I purchased a few purses. I digress, my bad! Lol I had 4 slices of pizza and honestly could of ate a whole pizza to myself. I'm trying to watch my carbs but it didn't work with this pizza joint! It not a large pizza place but it stays busy and they are quick on their feet. They are not worried about you ordering and leaving and coming back. The pizza is so good, your going to come back and pay your money. I usually compared pizza to a place on the west coast called Round Table Pizza. If my sister is reading this, she would give me the side eye because this pizza joint is so much better. I don't think I will find better pizza unless I come back to Brooklyn . ‍

Yelp
Friendly and always quality. Pizzas are always cooked well with lots of topping options. Stromboli and pepperoni rolls are always a great option too

Yelp
They don't even deserve a star which is completely sad. I have ordered quite a few times with average service. Today, I order buffalo wings that are stated on the menu to be $7.75, yet I was charged $11 dollars today as per the person I spoke to. "Who didn't take my order". I order a Sicilian slice that's $2.50 that miraculously became $4.00 dollars.... Then I was asked for ID and my card when the delivery was made. Which I have NEVER experienced. Make it make sense. I live in a gentrified neighborhood, but support small business seems to be above me at this point. Thanks for nothing! And if not aforementioned. I will never order from you again.

Yelp
Solid authentic neighborhood 'za. No fancy marketing or thrills, just quality pizza for a budget friendly price. Pizza: 4/5 - Delicious and authentic. Authentic in the quintessential NYC pizza joint way. Location: 4/5 - Church Ave is super busy. There's a ton of stuff near by though so there's that. Service: 4/5 - Authentic pizza joint aka You Order. You Pay. You Enjoy. Value: 5/5 - Budget friendly. Slices aren't going to cost you $5 each.

Yelp
Strong 4.5. This place is close to me so I finally tried it. I got the "baby" (12") Buffalo chicken pizza $12 and garlic knots 5 for $1.50. I ordered through the slice app and they didn't see my order so I had to wait for it to be ready but I got free beignet like things. I'm not sure if this was compensation or free with every order but I appreciated it. Anyway the pizza was v good. It didn't have marinara and instead had a Buffalo sauce base, cheese, grilled chicken and ranch. The crust was very good as was the whole pie and definitely big enough for 2. Garlic knots were soft and very garlicky but the garlic was completely raw and thus too peppery so that's where I would knock. But the beignets were good and it was ready quickly. Would order again.

Yelp
Bravo! I love my little Neighborhood pizzeria. It's NYC style hot thin and cheesy. I usually order the $8 pie as it's small enough for two people or two meals. They are quick and generous. There's usually a free sugar dusted fried donut.
google avatar

Missfrasier1 ..

Yelp
The absolutely worst pizza shop on planet earth. Horrible delivery guy and customer service. The food got me sick. Stay away at all costs

Yelp
Been coming here for years. Their Chicken Vodka Sicilian slice was my go-to before the Pandemic, but they removed it from their everyday rotation due to low sales. You can still order Vodka pies, however. I've ordered Chicken Vodka Pies, and just ordered this delicious Vodka-Margarita Personal Pie that was even more delicious than it looked. It had Vodka Sauce, Fresh Mozzarella, Tomatoes, and Basil. Can't wait to order another sometime in the next week or two.

Yelp
These guys are our go to pizza spot in the neighborhood. Reliable and solid. Would definitely recommend

Yelp
This place is not the place to go. The prices for two pepperoni with bacon slices was not great and it was overall bland. Before my boyfriend, who is a white male, was not treated with kindness the first time we went. There was an employee that mocked him for not being able to speak Spanish unlike me and thought it was acceptable to make him feel uncomfortable. Aside from that visit, our visit yesterday was not good and I regretted buying pizza from this place. The pizza seemed soggy under the cheese, either it had been sitting there for a long time or the dough was not fully cooked. Also I give this place one star because of the lack of masks from some of the staff. There were two people that walked out what seemed like the kitchen without wearing any mask, no mask IN SIGHT! The guy that prepared our pizza had a mask on, but I guess forgot to pull it fully above his nose after taking it off for a sip of water. Do not plan to go back here.

Yelp
I just ordered from them again yesterday after not having it for a year. Just. So. Good. 4 years strong of being in my top 3 in brooklyn. Perfect sauce to cheese ratio. Nice delivery guy. I just love them!!

Michelle D.

Yelp
The food was great when I ordered it but tonight I was faced with the most absurd level that because they are busy they cancelled my order. The craziest excuse is that where I am located the rehab center makes their delivery people wait. Have they bothered to think that this is a rehab filled with sick elderly people many on vents emergencies happen so you get held up. The other thing I tell delivery folks in advance I can't come down just leave it at the reception desk. I don't tolerate nonsense like this at all!!!!

Yelp
The school I work for always orders from here for employee celebrations, class pizza parties or regular staff lunch. The food is delicious and the service is exceptional. Marco is so accommodating and truly cares about his customers. The pizza is delicious, pasta is stellar, wings are perfect and prices are very reasonable.
google avatar

Yelp
The food here is VERY pricey but the good thing about it is that you wont regret spending money here.. it's worth every penny!!
google avatar

Yelp
Ewww. They are too busy making jokes instead of dealing with customers. They drink alcohol behind the counter. & pour water into the sauce. I have not eaten here in years because it's truly horrible. It's sad it's the only pizzeria around.
google avatar

Yelp
Fastest delivery I received during my summer in Ditmas Park. The delivery man was amazingly friendly, too! I was hesitant to order from here but their gluten-free pie sold it to me, though I couldn't help but shy away from splurging on toppings ($3 each!). All in all, the pizza could have had more sauce but they threw in free zeppoli (sp?) so who am I to complain? We also ordered calzone and while I did not try it, my boyfriend said he preferred the pizza. The good- speedy as hell The bad- food taste is average Final verdict- a good option if you're in a hurry and friendlier than most delivery services. Not the beeeeeeest pizza but pizza is pizza. Service is so good it bumped the place up one star

Yasmin M.

Yelp
I ordered some pizza to my friend who's a doctor and at a nearby hospital to cheer them up during this crazy time (COVID-19) - and man did they deliver. They went out of their way to make sure it made it to them on time and genuinely were happy to do it. They also put some extra zippolis!! We're all so lucky to have businesses like these to help support our healthcare workers! 5 stars for Brooklyn Pizza II - we love you!!

Yelp
Good pizza great on delivery's. They treat you nice. Would recommend this place. Nice selection of things.

Yelp
Decent food, but with my latest order there was a shard of wood about 2-2.5 inches long inside my pizza. I only found it by eating the pizza, which I stopped doing when I found a splintered piece of WOOD INSIDE MY FOOD. The owner refuses to do anything because "there are no toothpicks at his restaurant." As if accusing me of lying about it. Let me reiterate: it is not a toothpick. It is a SHARD. OF WOOD. INSIDE THE FOOD. Probably came from an old and deteriorating pizza tray or something, I don't know, but this is not how you respond when a loyal customer tells you your food literally put them in danger. I hope this restaurant gets shut down after inevitably failing a health inspection. Don't waste your money supporting this business.

Yelp
Had a really great visit! I moved out of the city last year and the staff still remembered me. Convenient location off the Church Ave stop. Always great pizza and the indoor dining is open as well. Must stop in Flatbush!
google avatar

Nate A.

Yelp
Basically it's like this: Always reliable. Always on time. The pizza is good. The pasta is good. Everything here is good. It's not the #1 greatest of all time, but are you the #1 greatest anything? no, so chill. it's better than a lot of other places. And-- they are always giving out random goodies. Is it a bribe? yeah but i'll take it.

Yelp
Ordered pizza delivery and thought it was really good. We got the vegetarian pizza and it was loaded with tons of vegetables. The garlic knots were pretty good but I think if it was a bit softer it'd be nice. It also came with yummy donuts. Not sure if they charged us or if it was free or a mistake but it def tasty. I think if you do delivery either pay credit card over the phone or have cash for when the delivery person comes to pay. I ran around scrambling for cash when they arrived cause they didn't take card.

Nicole M.

Yelp
Don't eat here. I ordered an appetizer and a pasta. The plastic lid on the To Go container was old and brittle from heat exposer. It broke apart into my pasta. I asked for a refund on the whole meal. Because really, what's the point of ordering an appetizer and paying a delivery fee, if your not going to have a full dinner? The manager on duty was extremely rude. Questioned if I perfect person, if I ever made mistakes. I make mistakes, I just didn't want to pay for food I can't eat. Took no responsibility for the company's mistake. I understand he was stressed with many phone calls and it was busy, but that's part of the business. He was extremely condescending. I would of accepted an apology and refund. But instead, we went back forth on the phone over a clear NYC health code violation.

Yelp
It was OK but lots of cheesey pleesey goodness but I'm on on s diet only had one slice crowded

michelle m.

Yelp
The food is great, a little too pricey! BUT BEWARE OF ORDERING WITH A CREDIT/DEBIT CARD OVER THE PHONE! we usually don't have cash, so we order over the phone with our card thinking that it's safe. until we found out that the lady who takes our order tried to make a $104 purchase on my card for a skin cream. and she thought no one would find out. that's our fault for trusting this place.
google avatar

Yelp
This is the place if you live around the area. Pizza is good, Pastas taste good (I go for the Baked Ziti). Delivery always fast and food is always still hot!

Yelp
I have been going to this pizza parlor for most of my life, roughly 25-30 years....having said that, since they changed ownership the pizza has become lifeless....the sauce is too sweet and the crust is too doughy. I do like the fact that they now deliver, but with delivery comes higher prices for sub par pizza. I can honestly say that the only thing I enjoy ordering from there now is the Italian ices and that's a shame.
google avatar

Dolliah M.

Yelp
Speedy delivery. Solid pizza. I used to visit this pizzeria when I took the Q regularly because it's fast and good pizza, diagonally across the street from the B,Q Church Ave Station. Now that I no longer walk passed it on my commute back from work, Im happy to see them on SEAMLESS for when I want to order from a dependable pizzeria.

Yelp
Earlier this year when I was looking for a genuine, high quality pizza, Brooklyn Pizza II was the place for me. Since I was with a group of four, we decided to go with a whole pie. It was hot and fresh with just the right amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings. So, fast forward to this month, when Jessica E. and I are back in the same neighborhood and again craving some delicious New York pizza. Given the pizza deliciousness of last time, it's a no brainer to come back here, right? Well, we should have used our brains. Not hungry enough to split a pie with just one other person, I got a slice of Hawaiian (ham and pineapple). Admittedly, at first glance, it looked a little bit stale in the glass window, but I figured that all pizza gets a little off looking when it's been out of the oven for a bit and ordered it anyway. After it arrived, it was barely edible. Reheating it in the oven had sucked just about all the moisture out of the slice, so that the toppings had no flavor to them and the thick crust was like eating a hard piece of toast. Those of you who know me know that I never throw away pizza. In fact, when others leave crusts behind, I often finish theirs. But, on this visit to Brooklyn Pizza II, history was made when I threw away 2/3rds of the dry, bland slice. I may return again, but if I do, I'll only get a whole pie to avoid the risk of stale, dried out pizza.

Yelp
This is what pizza should be. Nearly perfect pizza. Had the pepperoni and sausage and it was maybe the best we've had on our week long trip that included 5 or 6 pizza stops
google avatar

Shade B.

Yelp
Their pizza is amazing. I love Pepperoni I don't really like the mushrooms. I love the display of food.
google avatar

Yelp
Brooklyn Pizza 2 is the spot. This is regular New York pizza from regular guys. Call any other place five minutes before they close and try ordering a large regular pie. It's gonna be like that scene in American Psycho, where Patrick Bateman tries to get a "rez" at Dorsia. Now call Brooklyn Pizza 2 five minutes before they close, what do you get? How's a perfectly medium rare, large cheese pizza with a goddamn chicken roll thrown in (on the house) sound to you? That's what I thought. Unfortunately these guys won't make you a prohibition-era cocktail in a teacup. And nobody here's got a man-bun let alone stubble past a goatee, but what the hell did you come here for? Ambience? Aesthetic? Gimme a goddamn break. You won't find your latest gentrified crush here, but you will get a helluva pizza from great people. UPDATE: I wrote that review drunk, and by God, I stand by every word of it.
google avatar

Danielle P.

Yelp
The pizza is really good; not soupy and lack of cheese like other pizza shops in the area and their service is always fast and reliable. Love the random extras that you get when they deliver!
google avatar

Alan M.

Yelp
A serious Brooklyn neighborhood slice-factory. No delivery, so you've got to be local if you want a taste. And a taste is well worth having. The veggie pizza is topped to heaping, and has always pleased the crowd. The price of their large pies compared to the amount of food you get and the quality of what you receive makes Brooklyn Pizza II a fantastic value and a staple for the neighborhood. The service has always been prompt and polite, a full pie taking only 15 minutes for preparation. When picking up a takeout pie, they will always offer to put whatever spices you want on the pie and tie up the box with twine to create an easy carrying handle. With a place like this nearby, it is an absolute CRIME to order from a major chain. Save some money, get a better pie, and order from these guys. They'll do ya right.
google avatar

Joan H.

Yelp
I've been coming here since I was a child before the name was change and the pizza still taste the same as it did years ago.....Con: they really need ice like seriously its been years , no ice REALLY?!!?
google avatar

Rich G.

Yelp
The pizza here is overly doughy, cheesy, and greasy. I might eat here purely for subsistence but I know I would not get any enjoyment out of the act. A single regular slice is very heavy and will leave you with a bloated feeling in your stomach. Probably due to the fact that one slice contains about a cup off oil. To top it off the employees are jerks. There is one younger nice guy but the rest act like it's pulling teeth to hand you a slice of pizza. One time I asked to use the restroom after ordering and the guy slowly poured my drink, cut my slice, took my money and looked around the whole counter before handing me the key and muttered "Don't take too long". It was so weird the guy next to me had a shocked look on his face. When I got out he was staring at me with a frown and loudly banging the dough. Disturbing...
google avatar

Chris N.

Yelp
This is one for the better pizzerias around the area. The slices are pretty good. I love the chicken roll here. I remember when the slices use to be like two dollars, now it's nearly three. Time does change. They always do delivery as well. Overall, brooklyn pizzeria does have what it takes.
google avatar

Amy S.

Yelp
I tried to like you, really I did. I ate here about once a week because it's the closest spot for me to grab a quick slice near my job. However, your food is usually terrible and most of your staff is rude (except one nice guy). For the past 10 months I've been eating Sicilian slices because all the others look old and gross. Last week I got one that was pure dough. Though I was polite about asking for a different slice, all three staff members gave me a hard time about it. One guy even asked, "Is this your first time eating pizza?" No, just the first time eating DOUGH with sauce and cheese on it. To top it off, they charged an extra dollar for me to get a grandma's slice instead. That also tasted nasty. With no time left on lunch, I ate it out of desperation. I will not be returning here. That day my co-workers told me they've stopped going too. They said it's under a new owner who raised prices and they don't think the pizza is good anymore.

Daria Z.

Yelp
Great penne vodka but pretty bad mozarella sticks. The delivery was fast. I would not pay $25 for this sort of food again though.

Brian A.

Yelp
Bad,Bad can't describe the service level at this location. Recently moved to NY area...Brooklyn. Was recommended by a friend. Great pizza...I have ordered several times but ignore the rudeness of the phone person. Tonight I ordered 8:15pm a small six slice pizza with chicken, mushrooms and olives...was told 28.00..I ask why was told chicken on a plain pizza is 19.0...I asked why again was told because it's chicken parmigiana. Then she hung up on me...I called from a different number asking for manager...heard her speaking in Spanish which I understand. The she came back to phone saying the manger is not here. I asked her name...Adriana (if it's her real name). I said no manger and she hung up on me again. Is Adriana is the owner . I am a regional director of a restaurant group that we are moving to nyc market. We have signed contract with door dash, Uber eats and grub hub. We use them on all our platforms form in PA, DC. Will be Speaking with them tomorrow. If they don't remove your restaurant from their platforms. I will remove ours...Adriana is costing you lost revenue. The rudeness doing these time when every restaurant is struggling is unacceptable!! Lucky I gave you 1 star. Will forward this review on all your platforms

Yelp
I've gotten pizza here before and never had any complaints. Like a few other folks have said, a lot of theboizza looks really old, like its been around for a few days. That being said I came in the other night and requested a spinach roll. Nothing crazy, right? I just knew it would be fresh because the guy was behind the counter literally chopping up spinach. As I waited, another patron was asking to wash his hands, as the bathroom was out of order. He asked like 5 times and I'm actually not sure if he ever got to wash his hands, which made me wonder...um...do any of these dudes wash their hands? Anyway, got the roll ($5.50) and went home to tear.it.up. when I opened the bag, it was soaked with oil. When I bit into the roll I quickly realized this was made days ago. Like this was old. Old. Old. I've been spoiled by Mike's, where they make the roll fresh for you. Not here my friend. It was so old and so much of itvwas hard I couldnt finish eating it. I was so upset because I had been craving a roll and this was such a disappointment. The one saving grace was that they had Frooties at the counter. If I was dying I'd maybe get a slice...but mothing else...

Felisha T.

Yelp
I ordered my food for delivery at 4:55pm. When it hadn't arrived by 6:30 we contacted the restaurant who said they would deliver it within the next hour. At 8:10 I was informed the restaurant "stopped delivering an hour ago" and that my food would not be delivered. Waited over three hours for food that never arrived. Will not be ordering from them again.

Reuben D.

Yelp
Amazing pizza, timely service & they're community friendly. I have been going here for years & they make sure to remember me.
google avatar

Yelp
Definitely not bad for the price. Nothing that will blow your mind but it's solid decent pizza. Last time I was there, the guy behind the counter confirmed that he made the pizza with extra love. It made me smile.
