I have personally been involve with Brooklyn Scholar Athletes Inc. for the past 2 years. Though they are a small nonprofit organization based in Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn, they have a huge impact. Initially, I was looking for a safe place for my son to play sports, basketball. However, what I found different and impressive about this organization is that their major focus is on education. They expose kids, usually of under served communities, to the opportunity and possibility of attending independent/boarding school. I have volunteered as a chaperone on trips to visit some of the most prestigious boarding schools in the countries. They offer an amazing opportunity for a quality education. For our kids, this is an opportunity for a better life. Thank you Brooklyn Scholar Athletes!
