Brooks bike shop was fabulous probably the best service I've ever seen in a bike shop A young man jumped right in the truck, and got the bike out. Then carried it in the shop. Intake and explanation of service and payment was super fast. He was going to text me when the bike was ready. Since it was the end of the day I was expecting a call the next day. On the third day we called the shop. The bike had been ready but they had not done an exit ticket. So exit was not as fast as intake. We were super pleased with the service of the repair also the prices were great. I would highly recommend them. You may just have to call back and check on your bike frequently as they are busy. Thank you very much Brooks bike shop. We greatly appreciate you!

Very friendly and professional! They went in parking lot to see what was going on while I was pedaling. He told me what they’d do to correct one thing and what might work to correct another. They tried what might work, but it didn’t. They texted me to ask if I’d like to change the part to make it work and the price. I agreed. They texted me the next day to say it was ready. Paid and picked it up and again friendly and professional and everything works great! Great business! Glad to have y’all in Slidell!

Benjamin and Wayne are outstanding. They explained work to be done and provided estimate that was spot on. They also gave tips on maintenance. Excellent pricing for quality of work done. Bike was ready ahead of time to boot. Promises made, promises kept. Can’t go wrong with these guys. I highly recommend without the slightest hesitation or reservations.

I brought a bicycle in that needed a new tube and it normally takes a couple days for them to complete. I explained that I was only in town for the day and Kenneth was super helpful and was able to get it done for me quickly. He also pointed out that the back brakes needed replaced but the front ones were good. I'm so glad he noticed that while I was there and fixed them for me. Kenneth was very friendly and knowledgeable. I'm so thankful he was able to squeeze me in on such short notice. I visit Slidell often and will definitely come back for anything I ever need with a bicycle again and will recommend this business to anyone I know. Thank you Brooks and Kenneth!

Great service and great prices. They were so helpful and even took off a broken piece of my brake and replaced with a used piece they had in their shop for almost nothing. They also finished tuneup quickly! Very happy and totally recommend:)

Brought a bike in that hadn’t been rode for 15 years. The tech looked it over and gave a quick review of what he saw. The bike would need cleaning, brake adjustments, and new tires. He gave me a 2 to 3 day time frame for completion. Got a text that afternoon that the bike was ready. I picked it up the next morning. Quick friendly service.

Rented E-Bikes for the Tammany Trace trail ride from Brooks. Very helpful employees. The employee rode with us to the trailhead due to construction to make sure we got there safely. Will rent again in the future.

Absolutely thrilled to find a cycle shop that not only sells, repairs, gives great advice on bicycles but even tricycles!! Wonderful and professional and so thorough in every detail of repair. I’m looking forward to going back soon for my other bike as their turnaround time is excellent!

I love this place. I've been here twice to rent bikes for the Tammany Trace and I've had a great experience both times. They were so accommodating when finding the right bike for my family member. They gave tips and directions and had extra helmets too. Totally recommend!!!

So many rental bikes to choose from and they couldn't be nicer. Very helpful information and ideas. Had a lot of fun on the Tammany Trace.

How fun was that 20 mile bike ride? He thinks of everything. Don't want to get back before closing, he'll give you a lock. He gives you a map and tells you where to go. He is so friendly. Stop by the store about a mile down the road at Arita Brew Pub and take your lunch with you. We were very fortunate to have a bunch of vendors selling fresh bread. What a great day!

These guys are top notch! Great customer service and atmosphere. From the assessing our bikes to making the repairs, and tuning them up, these guys did a great job! I would highly recommend.

Bring your bike here! It will be in the best hands. I drove 30 minutes to this shop because of the great reviews. All the reviews don't give this shop enough credit. A veteran owned small business. These employees showed effective communication and are willing to help you, however they can. They are not trying to rip anyone off. The prices are very reasonable. All of the workers I encountered were very knowledgeable and respectful. Answered all of my questions, didn't make me feel dumb for not knowing simple bicycle knowledge, and took the time to explain the repair process of my bike's issues. I took my bike in for a basic tune up and wheel repair and it was finished in less than 2 days. Very fast service compared to other places on the north shore. Mr. Wayne and Mr. Ben are fantastic gentlemen, thank y'all for all your help! I don't trust any shop with my bike and I'm so grateful for the guys here at Brooks' Bike shop. I HIGHLY recommend this bike shop, you will not be disappointed! This location is placed perfectly to get it fixed and ride down the trace (31 miles one way). I will be returning to Brooks' Bike shop for all my needs. Thank y'all so much! 5/5 stars!

Probably the coolest place in Covington. Great place to rent a bike for a ride on the trace or get your bike repaired if you need it. They also rent kayaks and paddle boards. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, a small town treasure.

My man and I took a quick day trip to bike the Tammany Trace and Brooks' Bike Shop was our first stop. So happy we went there!! The guys were all so so nice! We were on our bikes and ready to go within 5 minutes. The guy there gave us an awesome hand drawn map and told us about all the breweries on the trail and other hot spots. He was so helpful! They also give you a lock so you can make stops along the way. Their shop is right on the trail so it's super convenient! Prices are super reasonable as well, $20/cruiser for the day and tons of free parking in the area. I can't wait to go back to explore more of the trail....since we kind of got held up at Abita Brewery longer than we anticipated :)

Super friendly and helpful bike shop in downtown Covington! I am local and got a flat tire during my bike ride. Brooks' bike shop lent me a bike to ride while he fixed my tire. A must visit if you are visiting or local. A great business to rent bikes or kayaks for the day!

Brooks is the best. We came here with our 6 & 8yos to rent bikes and ride the trail. He has kid bikes, kid helmets, ride-alongs, whatever you need. He'll add bottle cages, loan locks, etc. - you name it, no additional cost. The prices are silly reasonable ($5/kid - 4 hrs, $15/adult - 4 hrs). We ended up picking up a couple of adult beaters to keep, plus helmets, lights, lock, & bike rack to make it back across the causeway. $170!! 10 stars for customer service & value. Thanks, Brooks.

Brooks' Bike Shop is wonderful! The staff (Brooks and another guy) were friendly and helpful; they made us feel welcome and like a part of the community. The rental bikes were fun, well maintained and very reasonably priced. The shop is located at the beginning of the Tammany Trace Trail and with bikes, Covington was fun to explore.

Fantastic place! We wanted to go biking on the Tammany Trace so we stopped here to rent some bikes. The guy we dealt with was super friendly and helpful. The rates are really reasonable ($10 for a single speed & $15 for a multi-speed, each for four hours). We'll definitely be back again to rent bikes!

If you're looking for cheap bike rental to hop on the seat and explore the Tammany Bike Trail, stop right here and search no further. Patrick Brook, the owner of this small shop, is a super nice and dexterous guy. You can rent a bike for 3 hours or a whole day, which allows you to ride as far as you want along the trail, which starts just couple blocks away. Support local business and check out this cute establishment!

My family and friends love to come here to rent bikes when they come in town to visit me! The prices here are much more reasonable than other rental shops in Mandeville. Owner is very helpful and friendly. Love supporting local businesses!

Brooks was very friendly and knowledgeable. He even put on an extra water bottle holder for us since we needed one. I would definitely come back to him for bike repairs if I lived in the area. Go rent some bikes from him and have a beautiful ride on the Tammany Trace!

Heard about the Tammy trail but didn't want to walk all of it. Heard about the shop and decided to check it out. There are plenty of bikes to choose from and decided to try out the hybrid which felt good for 24 miles in the trail. Overall good price for the rentals and is a must if you want to hit the trail which starts right beside the shop.

Patrick can fix your bike, and his place is worth a visit even if you don't ride bikes!

Young man working here did a great job repairing a flat tire on my bike. Quick on the repair and recommended some options for the bike. Just moved to the Nothshore and glad I found this place.
