Brookville Restaurant and TapHouse Bar & Grill

Our party had 16 people including small children. We were able to make reservations on short notice (2 hours). The hostess was accommodating and friendly. The servers were attentive and knowledgeable of the property and history of the hotel. I personally loved the decor! When you say fried chicken, I say go to Brookville! Delicious chicken, mashed potato’s, gravy and biscuits! This place was just good.

We had our 55th high school reunion there. They provided a room for free if we purchased meals, which was nice. The food was OK, not great. The service was very slow, probably because of the size of our group. I would go back to see if they would do better if it was just my wife and I.

We LOVE Ms. Verna!!! And Ms. Veronica was also very nice. It was nice seeing friendly faces when we returned. The fried chicken is amazing! And you have to try the pie. We drive over 2 hours to go here and eat. I miss the red hot apple rings- the cinnamon canned apples just aren't the same.

Wonderful place! We had a party of about 30 for a family reunion and they kept us fed and watered without missing a beat! The staff was so friendly and really went above and beyond! We stayed past closing time and they were so accommodating!!

It’s a very classic and retrograde from a 1930s type of feel. Feel was very good, lunch. Had the French dip, so good and homemade blueberry pie, served cold, would rather it was warm but still delicious.

To go hostess came off quite rude , Food is better at Country Marts Deli , Whoputs Peaches & Pickles in The Same Container , The Biscuits r Bite Size

The fried chicken was a bit overrated since it could use some more seasoning, the breast was a little bit dry. At least the breading was well-seasoned. The sides especially the fruits were overrated to since the pears had a slight mealy texture to it. On the bright side, the mashed potatoes and creamed corn were delicious along with the rolls. The cole slaw was a little too sweet. The ice cream however was not very creamy since there were some ice chunks in it. The dining room was well-decorated with late 19th-century era furnishings and decorations. The experience was good since I've came in with an empty stomach, left with my stomach full at the end of the meal including ice cream, and the staff were friendly.

I give this 5 stars because the entire experience was wonderful! We were seated and asked what meat we'd like to have and our drinks We ordered the beef and the chicken. It was all delicious and big portions! Our server had several tables but she kept our drinks full, was friendly and let us know the status of our food. The hotel and restaurant were very clean and beautiful. You can tell the food was homemade and quality made. And the ice cream was a special added touch.
