If you want good barbecue with nice portions, come here. The BBQ is good enough to eat without sauce and it's tender and flavorful from thee first to the last bite. The fried okra is better than Church's. The fried pickles had a nice flavor and the breading did not overpower. Overall, a good representation of what BBW in the South is supposed to taste like.

A must go to if you have a layover in Charlotte. I found it the closest choice to local food in the airport. Deep fried pickle was delicious!! I had the Brisket Sandwich which was tasty to say the least. Enjoy!!!!

I was searching for something gluten-free or friendly as possible in an airport because I left my meal behind before catching a 10 hr flight. The employee was cleaning and paid no attention to me standing, patiently waiting - although he saw me as I walked up to order. After a few minutes, he says, "Do you want to order something?" I started to walk away, but because my options were limited, I opted for the pulled pork, green beans, and baked beans only to be informed that the sides I wanted were unavailable. I ended up with mashed potatoes, no gravy, and collard greens. The greens were piping hot, and after adding a pack of Splenda and pepper, they were pretty good. The pork and potatoes were lukewarm at best. Overall, it was an okay meal, and I didn't get glutened. I wouldn't rush back on my next flight unless I didn't have access to better, more customer friendly options beforehand.

You always know the food’s gonna be good when all the pilots are eating there! As far as airport food goes, this was great! The Mac was a small step above Kraft, but the Pulled Pork and collard greens made up for it. Whole lot kept me full till I got home 5 hours later.

Eco-friendly packaging . I wish there was more than one bbq sauce. I'd like to see what the State of Carolina has to offer. Some of the best food service I've had at the airport, friendly, helpful. Food was definitely edible and surprisingly not super expensive for an airport, I feel like I spend the same at famous Dave's off site of an airport. Test it out. Eco friendly

As far as airports are concerned this bbq is a 5 stars. I used to specifically try to go through CLT partly so I could eat here Love the pulled pork sandwich

Stopped by Brookwood Farms Carolina Pit BBQ while waiting for my flight at Charlotte Douglas Airport and had a pretty solid experience. I grabbed a BBQ sandwich and a beer to pass the time, and it hit the spot. The sandwich had that classic Carolina flavor—tender pulled pork with just the right amount of tangy vinegar-based sauce. The beer selection was decent for an airport joint, and everything came out quick, which was perfect for a layover meal. Staff was friendly, and the seating area was clean and comfortable. For airport food, this was definitely above average. I’d absolutely stop here again if I’m passing through CLT. Good spot to grab a bite and relax with a drink.

40 bucks for food that I couldn’t even eat. The. Fries were decent. The ribs were in the warmer way beyond what they should have been it was like eating jerky I had to exchange for pulled pork even though I paid a premium for the ribs. Brisket was below average. This is my review after not eating all day which at that point anything taste good. The restaurant overall seems very mismanaged. Stuff was all over the place and they were serving the food out of bins that were not refrigerated or in the warmer station.
