First time trying Brothers, and let me tell you what! They made my Birthday night a great one! They are fair with the price for the quality. They get things done right! This place is a must try when you come by the area. You won’t be disappointed! Thank you Brothers Pizza, you have earned my trust and loyalty! 5 stars all the way around the board

I read several positive reviews about the pizza at this place so a friend and I (two adults 35+) who got off work at 8 decided we would go here and eat since most places stop serving food after 9 downtown. We walked in right before 10. As we are looking at the menu the employees put up notices that no slices served after 10. Did not greet us, say if you want to order a slice we are about to change over to not selling them (ridiculous in my opinion) a New York style pizza place who doesn’t sell slices late night sounds dumb!! Completely turned off we left realizing this is a deterrent to keep specific customers away and I will never know if the food is good because I won’t go back!

I stop here for a few slices of pizza and drink, the establishment is very clean and no one told me to leave when I entered and said to everyone praise Yahwe/God, so with that said I truly like this establishment even though I make my owned pizza at home mostly. Peace and blessings to.all of you. PS. The two photos of the food that is my owned personal food at home that I prepared for myself, don't make a mistake and get the eating out with my eating cooking at home, just thought I let you wonderful people know. And of course happy new year, with a brand new day that God has allowed us all to see. Peace.

Very good pizza place at the heart of Winston-Salem. Good job guys, keep it going!

Ordered a DoorDash order 06/24 around 10pm. All I ordered was a medium cheese pizza with fried ravioli. all we received was the pizza and only ordered TWO items. I don’t get how it’s that difficult. It’s upsetting because that would’ve been the only thing I ate today and wasn’t eating the pizza. They can’t even get two items correct. Wouldn’t recommend.

Located in downtown Winston and open till 3:00am, it’s the perfect place to grab a late night bite. The choices are like a true NY pizzeria, only difference is they do not have them on display. You order at the counter and they will call you up when ready. Staff & owners are very friendly. There is plenty of booth seating and there is always funky music play for a nice vibe. You feel like you’re back in a NY pizzeria. We ordered the 12” White Pizza, which has ricotta, tomatoes and garlic. I asked for extra garlic, which was a mistake. I should have asked if it was fresh garlic, it was not, they use garlic powder which killed my taste buds on my tongue. I have had regular pizza here among other items before and loved it all. I did not hate it this time but I wish they used fresh garlic…..makes a huge difference in my honest opinion. As far as the fresh ricotta and mozzarella it was on point, tomatoes may have been canned and also not fresh. Crust is thin and oven baked perfectly. Still love this place, just no extra Garlic!!! Won’t be getting any nucky tonight!!!!

Yelp
Seriously I've you have not tried them yet do it now. They recently closed their other restaurant on Peace Haven (Whitaker Square Pizza) to focus on the downtown location. Just a bunch of really cool Italians making tasty food! This night we had the meat lovers, hot chips and a couple slices of Sicilian.

Yelp
We've had Brother's Pizza on our radar for quite some time. Even more so since Slice of Napoli closed in early 2023, because there just aren't many places to get Sicilian pizza in the Triad. Based on other Yelper's reviews we knew Brother's offered a Sicilian pizza as well as other styles and we were eager to try. However, we thought their hours were limited to opening at 4pm and since they are located downtown it just hadn't worked out for us to stop in. Today, we decided to check out Brother's before we went to the races at Bowman Gray. Brother's is located on Fourth Street, almost at the corner of Fourth and Cherry Streets and amongst an area of other restaurants and bars. Street parking is limited and somewhat hard to find depending on the time of day so we opted to park in the parking garage on Cherry Street between Fourth and Fifth. It's fairly convenient to park and stop in but we commented it would be harder if simply picking up an order to go. One thought we had was for one of us to drop the other off and circle the block while the other retrieves the pizza. This is likely what we will do for to-go orders in the future. We were fortunate enough to be able to talk with Mike, one of the owners. We learned their family is originally from the Naples area of Italy. Mike's parents eventually moved to the US and settled in New Jersey for a number of years before coming to North Carolina. We enjoyed chatting with Mike and he was very helpful in telling us more about the pizza options. We were excited to learn they offer slices of their various styles, Sicilian, Grandma (a thinner type Sicilian crust), NY style and a stuffed crust. Customers can then customize their slices with various toppings. Of course, whole pies are available as well. Brother's also offers an array of appetizers, salads, hot and cold subs, calzones, strombolis and desserts. We also learned they recently began opening prior to 4pm which we were really excited to hear. I've submitted their updated hours to Yelp to help others: Monday: Closed Tuesday through Thursday: 11am-2pm and 4pm-12am Friday and Saturday: 11am-2pm and 4pm-3am Sunday: 4-10pm We ended up ordering three slices, I ordered two of the Sicilian with sausage and pepperoni and my wife ordered one of the Grandma slices with mushrooms and chicken. She also ordered a small mixed salad with romaine lettuce instead of iceberg and their homemade ranch dressing. We took a seat at one of the tables and watched as a steady stream of customers came in to either pick up to-go orders or place orders to eat there. Mike delivered our food to the table and stated they prepare all orders in to go containers. We opened up the containers and everything looked delicious! It's been so long since I've had a piece of Sicilian pizza and it tasted oh so amazing. We both really enjoyed our meals. Our only suggestions would be that they determine a way to offer dine in customers with non to-go containers and real silverware instead of plastic. The other would be to use fresh mushrooms. But honestly, for us it is still a five star experience. We will absolutely be back!

Yelp
I've definitely been missing what was my favorite pizza place in Winston-Salem, A Slice of Napoli, lately. But, I am so glad that Brother's Pizzeria exists because they are able to provide a pizza that is right up there with some of Daniel's greatest hits! Particularly the Sicilian style pizza for me... was something that SoN was amazing at, and is kind of rare to find in the Triad. Well at Brother's, you won't miss a bit if you love a good Sicilian, and they are open late. I also love that all prices include sales tax, and the totals always come up to nice round numbers. Not to mention, if you are looking for that true NY pizza vibe, you'll find it here. If you didn't know you were in the south, you'd swear you were in the Bronx. The key is an excellent pizza sauce recipe, and perfect texture on the crust. It's a little buttery and crispy, but pillowy underneath. My favorite toppings are pepperoni and mushroom, but on my most recent visit, I got half with pep and pineapple as well. I was afraid to do pineapple on a sicilian, but honestly the additional oven time just made the pineapple that much better. Leftovers galore, and for those who know, leftover Sicilian is THE best leftover pizza. I'll continue to come to Brother's when I need my Sicilian fix, and probably for any other pizza craving that hits.

Yelp
When Midnight hunger strikes, I've got just the spot for you! piping hot pizzas straight out of the oven, loaded with your favorite toppings and oozing with cheese. It's a haven for pizza enthusiasts and late-night snackers alike. Not only do they serve up the freshest pizzas in town, but they also have your favorite appetizers that will make your taste buds jump. From crispy garlic knots to mouthwatering Jalapeños poppers, their appetizers are the perfect prelude to the main event: the pizza extravaganza! they're open late. Did I mention that already? Lol.. ready to satisfy your midnight cravings whenever they strike. So whether you're craving a classic pepperoni pizza or a specialty white pizza, they got you covered, and for my ranch lovers, they got that good ranch lol. If I could change, just one thing is that they have orders y the slice at night, thats only available during the day now. Next time, hunger strikes after hours, though, skip the microwave meals, and head straight to this pizza place in DTWS. To me, their pizzas are great, delicious appetizers, and the best part the late-night availability - what more could you ask for? Your taste buds will thank you!

Yelp
Always a pleasure to come to brother pizza very friendly staff, great deals , very delicious food always hit the spot, and the restaurant just makes you feel like you are in a pizza spot up north
google avatar

Mike O.

Yelp
If you find yourself in DTWS and want a slice (or even a whole pizza), I would recommend Brother's Pizzeria, a family-owned and operated eatery. My wife and I visited on a Saturday afternoon. I had walked by many times, but on this occasion, we decided to grab a quick lunch. There are plenty of booths to sit at, and the staff (all family from Naples, Italy) were very friendly. We each ordered a slice of pizza, which was massive, along with a soda. We sat and talked to one of the owners. The pizza was wonderfully cooked in the foldable style that I love. The sauce on my Buffalo Chicken pizza was creamy and tasty. I enjoyed every piece, even the crust, which I usually hand over to my wife, who loves those left-over crunchy pieces. I would definitely recommend Brother's Pizzeria and hopefully will be back soon.

Yelp
The best pizza in Winston. I say this as an ex NYCer, this pizza is legit. Walk in and hit with smells of garlic and crust. The pizza is 'Jersey style' (not something I've been familiar with) but by suggestion of the owner we go easy on the cheese and well done crust, and you've got a stunning NYC pizza. The crust, crisp and foldable love. The sauce? Homemade. The cheese? Perfection. Get wild and get some garlic knots. The place itself is a low key pizza place: nothing fancy and it's counter service-fantastic but again, go for the pizza, nothing else!
google avatar

Joseph K.

Yelp
Should have stopped in here a long time ago. Love that you can buy by the slice. Pizza was way better than i would have guessed. Better than Marios and elizabeths in my opinion. Crust was just a little bit thicker than i prefer but was cooked to perfection. Good crisp with a slight char. Owner seems like a pretty cool dude and we were served quickly. Also gave us free water bottles which was much appreciated

Yelp
"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Brothers Pizza, and I must say, it's a delightful gem in the world of pizza joints in Winston Salem. This place exudes sincerity and simplicity, offering an authentic pizza experience without any unnecessary frills. What struck me was the way they serve their pies - in a to-go box along with paper plates. It's a clear testament to their commitment to making pizza the star of the show, and I love that! Growing up I lived all over the US and my favorite pizza hands down has been from the East Coast. This reminded me of getting pizza in Philadelphia as a child! Hands down it gave me a nostalgic flashback from the past. I enjoyed it so much. If you're in the mood for a genuine and local pizza experience, I wholeheartedly recommend giving Brothers Pizza a try!"

Ciash’a R.

Yelp
10 out of 10! Totally reminds me of New York style pizza! I love that they also have it by the slice. This will definitely be my go to spot for pizza in Winston. Very fast and convenient and the workers were friendly and nice! If you are downtown Winston Salem, it's in a good area to pop in and grab a slice !

Elliott B.

Yelp
Pizza was incredibly stale. As if it was cooked and then left out until next day then reheated in a microwave.

Frank B.

Yelp
Excellent pizza and eggplant parmigiana sub served by friendly and accommodating staff. I look forward to trying many of the interesting offerings including stuffed pizza and a variety of subs. Highly recommend you give them a visit.

Heather W.

Yelp
The pizza is mediocre nothing to write home about. We also got the wings and they were terribly overcooked.

Michael D.

Yelp
Just moved into the area (Chicago). Carried out. Truly great. Fresh. Loved the sauce, crust was delicious. So fortunate to have this place in my backyard.
google avatar

Jim C.

Yelp
Fantastic slice of pizza! The meats are packed with flavor and the service was great. Making this my new go to spot for a quick slice. And also an affordable spot when downtown.

Christine E.

Yelp
My first time and cheese slid off the pizza, not satisfying at all. The flavor was good though. Also ordered a regular sized steak and cheese sub and it was tiny with hardly any meat or cheese. Very disappointing. I will not be back.

Yelp
There aren't that many places that stay open late in this little town, as it is... But you can always count on a fresh hot pizza pie made right before your eyes inside of Brother's Pizzeria, located in downtown Winston-Salem. Upon my late-night, after-hours arrival with a few friends, I was quite impressed to see how jampacked the restaurant was, yet how fast and efficient the service remained! Probably no more than 10 to 15 minutes tops, we received an extra large pepperoni, pizza pie, ready for the taking! The mini booths placed alongside the wall of the we're all taken, but we didn't even need to grab a seat since our food was ready before we even realized. Both cashiers were extremely welcoming and pleasant to converse with, which made the wait go by even faster. If it's a hot, cheesy, tasty, affordable (for the most part) pizza pie that you're craving after midnight. Be sure to check out and patronize Brother's Pizza next time. You won't be sorry.

Yelp
I was a student at UNCSA hands down the best place on 4th and downtown for pizza. The guys knew our names and orders. Even when we came in from the bars probably a little further gone than we should be they were kind nice and got us fed. They never are rude and the pizza is always fantastic. I hope I get to come back in 20 years for a reunion and show my kids this place
google avatar

Drew D.

Yelp
Pretty good pizza spot! I had the 12 inch meat lovers pizza. It had a good amount of meat on it, good flavor, and it was cooked perfectly. The individual slices on display also looked really good. The staff was friendly. Seemed a little pricey but that's common these days especially for city food.
google avatar

Shon O.

Yelp
The food was phenomenal!! Hate I forgot to take pictures but if you are a New York pizza lover; this is your spot. My husband also enjoyed his turkey and roast beef sub. The service was good but it's down town and I had to pay $3 additional for the parking deck. With that being said, next time we will order ahead and drive around so we can run in, get our food and head home to enjoy

Yelp
We've only been here a handful of times but it has been enough to form a strong opinion. Hands down one of the better pizza places in Winston! Location: It is in the heart of the downtown Winston hustle and bustle on 4th Street. Mayberry's is it's neighbor. Parking: Like any downtown area there is limited parking on the street however, even on busy weekends we've been able to find parking within a block. We usually opt in for one of the close by garages...average$1-$2 per hour...can't really beat that. Also, totally worth it! Vibe:Super casual NY pizza cafe vibes. Pizza: I don't know who wouldn't like their pizza. Perfectly crisp base without being over done. The sauce has awesome flavor and not too overpowering of the delicious cheese and quality toppings they use. The slices are as big as my head. Customer service: This really brings the whole experience together for me. Everytime we've been they have alot going on but are always nice and also reasonable timing for food to come out. Watch out NYC! This little ole Winston spot might be just as good or better

Aidan B.

Yelp
Service was great, nice cashier, I think the owner was in there as well. The pizza is below par, and I know pizza. Covered in oil (to the point I was worried about the pizza box collapsing) gigantic peppers and onions, extremely floppy. Ambiance is alright, nothing special.
google avatar

Mikaela B.

Yelp
Easy ordering process online. The unfortunate part is there is really nowhere close by to park to go in and grab your pizzas, unless you get super lucky! There is some inside seating and a few seats outside as well. I really enjoyed the meat lovers pizza the most. I will say, the crust was a little done for my liking on the bottom. I enjoyed the pizza more reheated because it was softer. I love the concept of the chicken alla vodka pizza, but I would like more chicken for sure. It was just a little plain. Overall the prices were good and I like the different options on the menu.
google avatar

Mr F.

Yelp
The staff was friendly, the pizza tasted great and the price did not hurt my pocket. I will be back at this nice little establishment in downtown Winston Salem

Ken H.

Yelp
I visit Winston-Salem 6 times a year. I always make sure I visit Brother's Pizzeria. In my opinion, they have the best wings. The personal is always friendly and gives the best service. Keep up the good work
google avatar

Will R.

Yelp
Once a really, really good pizza joint...Brother's has kind of lost its touch in the past couple of years. Still a very solid NY slice for the most part, very big slices. But they no longer have the slice options on display so hard to choose what you really want off a paper menu. It's much easier to see and choose what looks good. A big thing for me is the lack of availability of the Grandma's pizza slice anymore. It's there, but only specific days apparently...which so happens to not be the days I've driven to get a slice there.
google avatar

Carrie P.

Yelp
Great pizza...if you're looking for quality NY style pizza look no further! This is the closest we've found. Did not disappoint. The white pie was the best we've had in NC.
google avatar

Nolan D.

Yelp
Ordered large 1/2 cheese 1/2 pepperoni pizza, and hot wings. The pizza is just ok. Picture definitely make it look better than it is. Dough has quite a bit of chew to it and overall has mild flavor for sauce. Wings were terrible. Sauce doesn't even adhere to the wing and the wing itself has like a boiled consistency to it. Zero crisp and the "hot" sauce was like watered down franks. Keep your expectations low and it's not terrible.
google avatar

Darran Carter C.

Yelp
You won't regret eating here. The food is fast and fresh and the employees are all so friendly! My favorite is their Philly Steak and Cheese!!
google avatar

Michael P.

Yelp
An unexpected- and amazing- find down here; damned good NYC (and across da river - IOW Jersey) style pizzeria. Wife had a pizza and I had a Meatball Parm Hero - both were tasty. In town to drop a child off for college - I will be highly recommending he have Brothers Pizzeria on the short list for those late night study sessions.
google avatar

Trivia F.

Yelp
My friend and I ordered late and stumbled on Brother's Pizzeria so we went with it. It's a bit pricey even more pricey when having it delivered. The chicken bacon ranch pizza was amazing just small. Lol I accidentally ordered a small and was mad I didn't have leftovers. I'll suggest for a late night snack over the cookout and McDonald's. I just suggest picking it up vs delivery. $24 for a small was not enough pizza for the price and I'll do it again . Definitely worth trying.

Chrissy M.

Yelp
I had heard so many good things, so I was truly disappointed when we got our food. we ordered 20 wings which were dry and way overcooked and a medium veggie pizza, which came to us as half cheese/half veggie. and the vegetables were not fresh (mushrooms were obviously from a can) In short, the food was almost inedible.
google avatar

Joshua T.

Yelp
Good food and friendly faces, gotta love it. But the main draw is that they're open pretty late and a short walk from the convention center and it's hotels. Definitely utilized that. Pizza was enjoyable, not the best I've had but I still recommend it. Had a cannoli as well and it was delicious. They serve bottled/canned drinks, so you do have to pay per serving but there's a good variety (happy they have monster). Also the music was bumping which I appreciate. Altogether I enjoyed it, would recommend, and it should definitely be on your list if you're at the convention center.

Brady C.

Yelp
If you're coming here to get food to-go, this place is easily 5 stars in my book. It rivals local favorites Burke Street and Mario's. The pizza was piping hot, and had a great structure to it, making it easier to pick up than a Burke Street slice, and the dough had a nice crisp every bite. Garlic knots were awesome too! Great and heavy garlic flavor, and a good amount of chew so it didn't feel like I was biting into balls of plain bread (looking at you, Marios). The problem lies in the service and atmosphere. First of all, no music. UGH! This is one of my biggest pet peeves when I'm eating in a restaurant. The ambiance is so weird and awkward when there's no music, and it feels like everyone has to whisper. This place is pretty small too, so it's not like it can be packed with the noise of other people. Please put music in your restaurant. Even a small speaker with someone's Spotify hooked up would suffice. As for the service, the cashier looked like she didn't want to be there, overall just a very absent vibe. While I was waiting for my food, the pizza chef kept staring at me every few minutes. It might not have been intentional, but the staring made me a bit uncomfortable after a while. While I enjoyed my food a lot, I wasn't exactly itching to stick around for too long. I've only been once, so I'm gonna chalk it up to just an off day for the employees and go back another day. Maybe not so late at night so there's more people in the restaurant. But seriously, PLEASE add music. Your pizza is super good! I want to be able to have a pleasant experience when I eat it in your dining room! I'll be back again, hopefully not for take-out.
google avatar

Uma P.

Yelp
really really good. they don't sell it by the slice, which I think the bummer because they could probably make a profit from that. Either way the pizza is delicious. It comes out in a large size and a with a delicious crust. Plenty of toppings and they make it fresh in front of you. Large pizza with several toppings and ranch dressing. Got ready in about 15 minutes. The ranch does cost a little bit extra. They have seating inside and bathrooms as well. I don't think they sell alcohol, but they have drinks. They are open very late which is nice and there is street parking outside. There's not many places open late at night in Winston-Salem for pizza so this is definitely a treat. I thought the pizza was delicious and we ate a lot of it!! it's more New York style than anything, decent prices, good food, and a great place to sit and eat!
google avatar

Julianna A.

Yelp
The pizza is delicious, large portions, and the dough has the perfect chew to it. I highly recommend it. Perfect for families.

Michael C.

Yelp
Incredible Pizza! Crisp crust, excellent sauce, high quality ingredients. Simply amazing.
google avatar

Zackary P.

Yelp
Super friendly owner and all tax is included in the prices. I got their calzones (fantastic btw) and my friend got 2 slices of their cheese pizza. It's awesome that they have a NYC pizza style restaurant down here in Winston-Salem. After trying their food, I was quite pleased with their quality and the quantity of food that they provided me.
google avatar

Steve M.

Yelp
In town visiting and it was @10 p.m. , we'd missed supper time at the restaurants (Winston Salem closes early) and Brother's Pizza came to the rescue. Huge slice for everyone, all made with toppings of your choice satisfied the hunger. Friendly staff and reasonable price. Nothing fancy, about 15 tables.

Antwon V.

Yelp
This could be one of the best pies in town... but the last few times they have been over cooked. Not quite burnt... but the bottom tasted like an oven. Had to scalp it. : (

Brian M.

Yelp
Just received my Margherita pizza I watched but have no idea how they cooked that pizza I believe somehow the back of the oven reaches to Italy That pizza tasted straight outta Italy Delicious Service friendly and prompt and professional Will definitely make this a go to Price is very reasonable too Could not get this much pizza at any national chain for these prices

Richard D.

Yelp
I'm from jersey and this is def jersey quality pizza. You will not regret it. Customer service is top tier too
google avatar

Nishant G.

Yelp
Could it be that I was drunk, hungry, and it was 1am? That's quite possible. But I'll be damned if that wasn't some of the best pizza I've ever had.
google avatar

Andrew S.

Yelp
This place saved my life. After being denied service from a local shithole (sir Winston's), this place heralded our group like a siren to the rocky shore. Our fresh to order pizza was ready in 5 mins flat and the service was impeccable. I would die for brothers pizzeria

Lexa E.

Yelp
Stopped here from South Carolina & it was pretty good. Good customer service, very friendly, and good food
google avatar

Jackie H.

Yelp
incredible prices and great pizza! The staff here is incredibly friendly and always serves with a smile on their face. You can order on the slice app and it's ready super soon. There's a great selection of items, but can't go wrong with a cheese slice. Would recommend to anyone looking for great NY style pizza.
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Amazing! We got a couple of pizza. They were both fresh, hot, and delicious. If you like thin crust pizza, you'll love this place! We just moved to NC from Boston and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will back soon!
google avatar

Kristen V.

Yelp
This is our go-to spot when we don't feel like cooking dinner. Best pizza and garlic knots I've ever had! The marinara sauce is magical. Staff is extremely friendly and food is always fresh.
