Brovaria

If there's one brewpub I know I'm going to visit on any holiday I take to this fascinating city it's Brovaria, been here before on previous holidays to Poznan, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit to here. ||A great looking brewpub, interior is superb, light and airy, a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room, wonderful decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this brewpub , its just a great brewpub to unwind in. ||We were here on a beautiful April afternoon, we were greeted and seated by a very pleasant member of the bar team, we ordered a pale ale each, these were served in excellent condition,we chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our pale ale's. ||My pale ale was really good, a crisp, well balanced pale ale, hints of toffee, a delicious aroma and aftertaste with a smooth finish, a classic Polish pale ale served in a classic Polish brewpub, its was just so good being in such a lovely brewpub enjoying quality brew and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world. ||We both really enjoyed our pale ale's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Brovaria we had a great time. ||Brovaria is easy to locate on Stary Rynek ( Old Market Square ) a square and area teeming with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination. ||Opening hours are;||Monday to Friday, open from 2pm. ||Saturday & Sunday, open from midday. ||Well worth checking out if you're in the area or planning a holiday to Poznan.

Up to now, in the last decade, is the best choice in market square. For quality, service, location. Portions are a bit small, but for quality and price is still worth. Beer is just amazing. It is one of the only place in poznan where they have stabil waiters in the years, and this you feel in high quality of service, that is usually a disaster in poland.

Bar and high-tops downstairs, restaurant upstairs. The staff speaks English and were very helpful to a limited American like me. I came on a Thursday evening, and the place was nearly empty, getting more guests over the hour as I sat there. The pierogi buraczane z fetą (beetroot dumplings with spinach & feta) is amazing. The beer is worlds ahead of similar styles in the US.

Seems to be a popular place, but my experience was not good. After waiting 47 minutes for my food to arrive, I eventually gave up and left. The service was very nice and apologized, maybe I try another time again

I loved the beer i orderd more take away for the house . Well recommended brewery for craft beer. If you are in old twon and want to refresh pass by and take home also with you

First of all the beer was amazing I wish I had gotten the variety to taste them all. I just had the pills and it was one of the most tasting beers I've ever had. I also had the pork knuckle and it was amazing the meat was very juicy and tender and there was a little bit of fat outside but you can cut it out but I ate it and it was amazing and the horseradish was very spicy but everything else was good and the service was exceptional.

I had the opportunity to have two dinners in Brovaria and I enjoyed everything from their menu! Their beers are outstanding and the food they serve is of the highest quality, all for a very reasonable price! The location and the vibe inside are great. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. It's a perfect address in Poznań for all beer lovers! 5/5

A few friends and I went out for dinner and stumbled upon this gem. Great beer, amazing food and the best ice cream I’ve ever had. Kasia, was incredibly helpful with the menu and phenomenal service that topped off the entire experience. We ended up coming back again a week later during our stay in Poznań for one more meal. It was again just as great as the time before. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself some wonderful food and warm customer service.

The review is for the hotel. The rooms are clean, but bit dated and bit too dark with all the dark wood furniture. The location is amazing, right at the Old Town's Square. However, there is NO ELEVATOR and the hotels are on 3rd and 4th floor. Do not book if you have any disability or lots of lugagges.

Great location! Nice service. We came at 6:30 on Saturday night, waited about 15 mins and got a table. The beer is great, and the beer cocktail is amazing. I love it. Food wise, the salmon salad is fresh and tasty. The duck dish is not something I would recommend. It was a little greasy and maybe too sweet for my taste. But generally, it was good. It was a little expensive here compared to other local restaurant. But it got a good view on the square. 这里位置很好，可以看到广场。服务不错，星期六下午人很多，等了一会才有位置。菜做的还可以。主要是啤酒很好喝。下次如果有机会还会来！

Great atmosphere it seemed although i'm American. The steak tartare was delicious as an appetizer and the steak was tasty and cooked perfect.

Food was good. We had steak salad and beef tartar. Service was difficult. We ended up being there for about two hours for a very small meal and barely enough time to see the city. But maybe this is the culture...?

Great place for a bite and a drink. Feels a bit fancy going in (a bit of a turnoff for me) but the food is great and drinks are even better. Wide range of food, all seems good, we had the risotto (veggie - she liked it) and the chicken (I liked it). They shine on the beer - the pumpkin ale was the bee's knees. She's not even a fan of beer but loved the pumpkin ale. I bought a 6 pack of a variety and each one was an exceptional example of what it was. changed my opinion of Polish beer as a whole. A little bit pricey but a great place for a night out. Recommended.

Was walking around Poznan Old Town looking for a place to grab a bite... I have been to Browaria before when my parents visited from Lisbon and it was good, maybe the service wasn't perfect but this time everything was good! Food was amazing and tasting, doses could be a bit bigger. Famous Honey beeer (made in the restaurant) is really good and worth a try. Restaurant doubles as a classy Hotel and also bar, a must try in Poznan.

I've always enjoyed the Brovaria, but yesterday I had the beef tenderloin with truffles and it was outstanding. It comes with mashed potatoes and zucchini and carrots, but I asked for more veggies and no mashed and it was great. The meat was very tasty and tender. My husband had the ribs with fries and enjoyed it very much. The beer is always good, and so is the service. I will go back again and again.

The hotel is so cute!!!! The bar is fun!! The food & drinks are flavorful!! Centrally located, very easy access to all things in downtown Poznan. The furniture in the rooms are very nice. Bed could be better but it's Europe. In a town that struggles with English, this place does well. I randomly chose this hotel off the internet and it exceeded my expectations. Stay here for sure if you're visiting Poznan!!

Me and my friend walked in to sit down at the terrace at the available table where there were plenty. We sat there for about 10 min watching FOUR waiters passing by, moving chairs next to us, making eye contact, laughing and joking with each other, and not even coming to check on us. We saw one of the managers coming to talk to some guests who probably also had an issue. We ended up leaving after 0 service. We followed one of the recommendations here, but I would not recommend it to anyone at all. Horrible!

Nice atmosphere here with tables available on the market plaza. A few beers from their own brewery are on the menu. I selected the honey beer which was enjoyable at the end of a warm day. Opted for some basic food at this meal in our dinner selection which was the tagatelle with veggies. Also had the zurek soup which was rather tasty but not vegetarian as it has some pieces of bacon.

Food is okay, the beer is okay. A nice looking restaurant and good place to take visitors while in rynek. Would recommend trying the bacon wrapped plums. Not the greatest place but we do go back from time to time.

Heaters make the outdoor seating more comfortable than you'd think in chilly weather. Very attentive service. The honey beer actually is not sweet. The wheat ale had a nice round flavor. The tagliatelle with vegetables actually only had mushrooms and wasn't nearly as flavorful as the pasta dishes at Cafe Bordo, but the pasta tasted very fresh, possibly handmade on-site. The "by the glass" sparkling Pinot is actually a split, as was the house red, so the price is even better than it seems.

I just love this place! The menu is vast and everything is very good. The wait staff is always excellent and work hard to satisfy the customer. A very clean establishment all around. They have the unique ability to have entertainment but still allow patrons to have a quiet conversation at their table.

Brewery restaurant with great food and great locally brewed beers. I definitely enjoyed it. Location is cool too, it right at the Old Market.
