Since we moved hotels to stay downtown, we decided to have breakfast at this gem and were pleasantly surprised by how good everything was—especially for just 12€ per person! The food was absolutely delicious, the portions were just right, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful.||The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere had such a great vibe—relaxed, inviting, and the perfect way to start the day. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tasty, affordable breakfast with great service and ambiance!

Great hotel for visitors who want to experience Lisbon! It’s centrally located so all shops and restaurants are within walking distance.||As for the hotel itself, the style is very clean and charming. The hosts and bartenders were all super friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are a bit small, but nothing out of the ordinary for a "big city feel" like Lisbon. Also very affordable.

Warning (as of 2025 April): the hotel uses strong SCENTS in the lobby and in the rooms. We were able to push most of it out by leaving the AC on full blast for the day and by skipping the room service. If you are sensitive to scents, DO NOT book a room here. There may also be loud noises from the street, but earplugs can handle it. Tip: the breakfast is really good value, and I would highly recommend it. Special mentions: 1 free cocktail and 1 free wine bottle, free unlimited filtered water. Great decor. Good functionality in the (superior) room.

The hotel is very well located in the Chiado neighborhood, close to the subway. The reception staff was very friendly, young and polite, as were the rest of the staff. The breakfast was excellent and tasty. The room was quiet, small but well equipped, a little dark but very nice. The bathroom was good. The only issue that I would like to point out, and that the hotel is not to blame, is that when we arrived at night, we would see Brazilian drug dealers offering drugs almost at the hotel door and on the corner. This was actually a matter for the local police.

Had a wonderful stay at Brown’s Boutique Hotel! The rooms were surprisingly big, very comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is excellent—close to everything you’d want to see in the city. Perfect for both relaxing and exploring. Highly recommended!

From the moment we arrived and checked in customer service was exceptional. Every employee was so happy to help you with any questions or concerns. Beatrice provided excellent recommendations and was a wealth of knowledge with all areas of Lisbon. We will most definitely be back to Lisbon and staying at Browns Boutique Hotel

Went to visit the bar only - didn’t stay at the hotel… the bar looked interesting and stylish from the street, and also once inside and seated. Turned out to be a case of “all mouth and no trousers”. A couple of cocktails: a Paloma with tequila overload, and they simply cannot make a dry martini. - nothing like. Snacks were very average.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel lobby/bar is nicely decorated and our room was spacious, clean and had great facilities. The location is perfect - close to the train stations and in the centre of shops/restaurants/bars without being too noisy. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful - we found the service excellent throughout our stay. If we return to Lisbon, we would definitely stay here again.
