Andy and the team looked after us so well we had a great stay at Browns. We booked the Chateaubriand, bed and breakfast offer on our way home from a trip to Australia and it couldn't have been a more restful experience. Everyone at Browns seemed genuinely focused on giving the guests a great experience. The food was outstanding, Chateaubriand was great and the breakfast was even better. We will definitely return.

I have driven through Laugharne for years, but it was great to spend the night here, particularly in such an amazing hotel. The greeting i recieved was very welcoming and the room was exceptionally large, with a separate bathroom and toilet. The room was very well equipped with a fan also, but this was quite noisy. The hotel has a bar and is very tastefully decorated if a little dark. I would say that the breakfast i had in the morning was one of the best I have ever received in any hotel. I don't say this lightly. The cooked Welsh breakfast was superb. Thank you for a lovely stay...I will be back!

Stopped in Laugharne on the way to a short break in Saundersfoot. Called into Brown's Hotel for lunch. Never been there before but WOW! what a meal! We had the chargrill lamb rump with medley of seasonal veg with apricot stuffing absolutely superb and a very reasonable price. The staff were very pleasant and helpful|I don't normally write reviews but felt this deserved more than a thank you.|Will definitely be calling into the Brown's Hotel very soon!

Lovely hotel in good location in Laugharne. Close to the castle, easy walk to Dylan's Boat House. Rooms are all different but lovely decor, well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, iron etc. Good quality bedding and towels , good bathrooms. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Very characterful bar and very dog friendly. Dexter's restaurant/bar serves excellent quality food. Would recommend and wouldn't hesitate to return

My partner and I stayed in Brown's Hotel for a night due to a friend's wedding, happening just down the road. Prior to our visit, a staff member rang to inform us that the air-con in the room was broken (it was a hot day!) She had already arranged for us to be moved to another hotel if we wanted to, and offered money back on our stay. We said no to both, as it was so kind of them to ring and let us know, and they mentioned a ceiling fan was in the room anyway!||From the moment we checked in, the staff were absolutely excellent. Kind, friendly and informative, they showed us to our room, 'Fern Hill'. It was spacious, beautifully decorated with a large, comfortable bed, a roll top bath, complete with an iron, ironing board, tv and a hairdryer. ||We had drinks in the bar, and the bar staff were super friendly, too. The heat let us make use of the quiet, small but beautifully decorated beer garden at the rear of the property. ||There's a small car park out the back, or plenty of on street parking in Laugharne. We didn't manage to sample the food, but the menu looked delicious! We'll absolutely be back if we're in the area.||Thank you for a wonderful, comfortable and welcoming stay.

Lovely comfortable hotel with very welcoming, friendly staff. We didn't have an evening meal there, but the breakfasts were second to none. I had the veggie breakfast, which didn't contain fake veggie sausages, much to my delight. Instead, a perfectly ripe avocado!

We booked Brown’s through a third party provider that specialised in pet friendly hotels as we wanted to take our dog. Despite the confirmation from the third party having all the correct details of our party size (two adults, a child and a dog) they had booked a two person only room and not told Browns that we were a party of three.|Despite it not being their fault, Andy and the team at Browns bent over backwards to shuffle things around (hard because they were fully booked) to get us into a family room for our trip. They could not have been more lovely!|As for the hotel itself the rooms (we got to try two!) were super nice, the food in Dexter’s Restaurant is incredible and the staff are all lovely. Very dog friendly and we had a lovely time!

Browns Hotel, Laugharne Review||We stayed here for a couple of nights in mid-June. It is a hotel we have visited several times before. It is pretty central in Laugharne, and has parking for guests.||We were in the St Ishmael room, a ground floor room easily accessible from the rear car park.||The room only has one small window, but we knew that when booking, and had specifically asked for this room in preference to other rooms we have stayed in at this hotel. Unfortunately we did not know that this room backed onto the kitchens and we were disturbed during the night by the hum from what we were advised was the kitchen’s ventilation system. However, the manager immediately offered us an alternative room for our second night, which was lovely. It was good of them to organise this so promptly.||The hotel is very convenient for exploring Laugharne, and there are a number of lovely walks (many through woodland) around the town and the estuary.||We enjoyed our picnics using tables on the lawned area between the castle and the estuary.||Breakfast at Browns is very good – with a good choice of options and very friendly and helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay. Laugharne is a lovely, peaceful, place to visit.
