I traveled here as a solo black female and felt very safe. The location is fantastic and you are a stones throw away from everything. I was able to walk the city from here. My rule is, if it’s within 30 min walk, I’ll walk it. But if you have mobility constraints, there are lots of public transportation options within a short distance. But the cobblestones may make walking difficult/using a wheelchair but thankfully Ubers are not that expensive. I stayed on the 3rd floor. The room was good for a solo traveler. I think it would have been hard for 2 people. The bathroom sink are was very small and you can barely put toiletries there, but there is space above the toilette that was sufficient. I loved the big fridge, the hot water kettle, and coffee maker. The room was basic but was perfect for what I needed. I was barely in the room and needed a place to sleep and change. If you are a walker and barely in the room, this place is perfect. If you are looking to lounge in the room, then this may not be the best place for you.

This was a great find in a lovely city. It isn't on one of the main streets but it is better for that. I stopped there for 5 nights and got a good nights sleep each night. The facilities were perfect for me. My room was clean, well equipped and even had an iron and mini ironing board in the room. The safe was very useful too. The shower was excellent and had plenty of hot water even about 8:00 am. I thought the bottle of wine and complementary teas and coffees were a nice touch, as was the bottle of water in the fridge. Although the public transport is excellent, I found most of the main touristy stops were in walking distance but have a ride on the No.28 tram, then you can get an appropriate fridge magnet! I have to give all the staff on reception a five star review, they were very friendly, spoke perfect English and other languages, just very professional. One of the lads even printed out my TAP boarding passes for me.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It should definitely be more than 3 stars! ||We loved the location and how walkable it was to all the major sights. They made our anniversary trip so special, and Miliana (spelling?) at the font desk was incredibly helpful and let us know where to eat after we had just landed from an overnight flight. ||We had a room on the first floor and it was very spacious, clean and exactly what we needed after a long day of sightseeing. ||The hotel itself does not have a bar/etc but the sister hotel right across the way has breakfast and a bar. We walked over there for the tasty welcome drink that was included in our stay. ||When we return to Lisbon, we will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here in June 2024 and its a perfect location, located in central Lisbon. A modern hotel in some aspects however some bits of the room we stayed in could have done with an upgrade. There was a bad smell emanating from our toilet which we mentioned to reception after the first night and we were told due to heavy rain this can happend, which I understand however would have been better to be advised of this at the outset. The room was spacious although a little dark. Beds are comfortable and the lobby area is modern and gives a cool vibe however the rooms in places are slightly dated in some aspects. The shower wasn't the best either but worked fine, maybe needed a new shower tray. Overall a nice hotel but needs some tweaking in areas.

A decent hotel with modern rooms. It is also in a great location. The free welcome drink, complimentary pastel de nata, and bottle of water was nice upon arrival. My room was very clean, though it would take staff until 15:00 to finish cleaning my room each day. The individual A/C control and the inclusion of a mini fridge and freezer were nice. I found the friendliness of staff to be hit or miss, and using the lobby was uncomfortable as staff at reception chose to take calls on speaker phone which was very loud. The wifi throughout my stay was abysmal, with speeds so slow that I couldn’t even load single webpages at times, much less stream any videos. I had to rely on using my own phone’s data plan which was not ideal. Finally, I found that noise travelled excessively in this hotel. I could hear squeaking and thumping noises constantly from the room above me, and was jolted awake multiple nights from the sound of people in the hallway going back into their rooms late at night. Overall, a nice hotel, but I’m not convinced it was worth the price I paid.

Great hotel with and excellent staff and cozy interior. We stayed here during the great blackout and the employees went far and above to make sure we’re safe. 10/10, will definitely come back again. You can walk everywhere, tons of things to see and do, great restaurant options nearby.

Overall it was OK. The hotel is perfectly located. The room was medium size, with a very strange design. Shower cabin is small and leaking. In our room, the window was opening to a small well they call backyard. There was smell so we left the window closed all time and used AC to have some air.

Our stay at browns was beyond amazing, specially the staff all the reception employees were welcoming and super nice, location is literally in the midst of the Lisboa city center and the lobby was nice and cozy too. Only con is how small the room is thats it.
