I had a fish sandwich at Brücke 10, a seafood spot by the water. I tried a vinegary fish—not the breaded and fried one, but the other option—and I absolutely loved it! It was incredibly delicious. To go with it, I had an Astra lemon beer, a local specialty of Hamburg. Sitting right by the water, watching the sea, I had such a delightful time. I highly recommend it!

Google
I was prejudiced against this type of food, I thought it was a normal dry sandwich, but it wasn't. The herring was juicy, probably it had been in some kind of marinade. The bun was fresh and crispy. All in all very tasty. Recommendation for this place.

To grab a bite during the city tour - nice. To try an authentic Hamburger. The service is slow, there is a line by a counter. Despite its self service, a lot of customers don’t care and leave the dirty dishes on tables. The ambiance of port is really good, just don’t expect too much.

I ordered fish sandwich with onion inside, not sure what it’s called but it’s tasty, the taste is salty but suits well with bread and onion also no fishy smell. However, the sandwich is already prepared and will not be warm. If you can accept that I recommend it. The atmosphere is so good because the restaurant located at the sea side. You can enjoy the view. My burger is 4.9€ which is quite reasonable for me, other restaurants also sell in this range of price. Basically, i recommend you guys to try, they also have shrimp sandwich, salmon sandwich and other fish sandwich!

Got their sour herring fish. Liked it because it was very sour and acidic. Wouldn’t recommend to people who can’t take sour. Astra beer is light and amazing. There are 2 floors. Outdoor on top and indoor below.

Google
It's a lovely location, at the far end of the ferry landing, to watch the world go by. I come back here every time i visit Hamburg and have probably tried every type of fish on sale here. All good quality. Coffee is okay too. For me, a very special place.

Google
this is a must-try place, i had the best fish i've ever eaten in my life here. i tried 3 types of buns, i really loved the smoked one and the sour one.

Google
Probably the best fish sandwiches in Hamburg. Not comparable to other sandwiches at the pier. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the place has a welcoming atmosphere that invites you to stay. We stop by almost every day for a sandwich!

Yelp
Fish sandwiches were so good! We had the herring which was so good with the crusty bread and the onions, and what I think was the salmon. Had a great time on the patio, eating/drinking while looking out at the water. A lovely way to enjoy a meal.

Yelp
We went on a Thursday around 11 am. We did not have to wait, apparently this place is always busy. The sandwiches were good. The restaurant is on the docks so it has a nice view and a good atmosphere to enjoy the sandwiches with a good beer. The sandwiches are a little bit pricey but okay based on the labor intensive work involved to obtain the final products (e.g. peeling the mini shrimps). I would recommend to visit this place if you are in Hamburg.

Yelp
Came here on a weekday evening to have some fish sandwiches, which is a local food to have in Hamburg! I wasn't sure what to get and the person at the counter (who thankfully knew English) explained to us. I ended up getting the smoked fish and mattia? fish. Both were super tasty, and I really enjoyed it. My friend got a local fish I think. The three sandwiches were €14.50, and we sat outdoors looking at the water while enjoying the sandwiches. I wish it had some vegetables though, as it was mostly just eating fish with a huge bread roll.

Yelp
I am a fish sandwich pig. I love a good fish sandwich. Read the yelp reviews online and decided to try this place out last wk while I was visiting Hamburg. Didn't realize there was just a whole row of fish sandwich places along the Landungsbrucken pier. Overall, it was good. Didn't like the Seelachs. The Bismarck and the Brathering were good. All the sandwiches were cold which was fine though I think next time I'm in Hamburg, I'll seek out some places that sell hot fish sandwiches just to compare. Service was quick, efficient, and the people were kind and patient as I tried to order in German. Ambiance was excellent. Very lively area and nothing beats eating a fish sandwich and watching boats go by. If you love seafood, this is a great place to grab a bite and enjoy the views!

Yelp
Hamburg is synonymous with the Harbor. And when it comes to the harbor you automatically think Fishmarket. And when you think Fishmarket you have to this fish sandwich. Yeah. So I couldn't leave Hamburg without devouring a proper fish sandwich. My old host sister told me Brücke 10 was the place to hit up for the best and simple fish sandwich. Being from NY the walk down to the market was a little jaunt from where I was staying. It was a typical overcast day. The air felt fresh and clean. I ordered at the counter. I insisted on having some remoulade on my sandwich. I should have had it in the side. They went a little crazy with it. I ended up getting the salmon thick lox (Stremellachs) sandwich but they all looked so good. I think I would like to come with a group that likes to share and try out some more of the tempting sandwiches. I also ordered an Astra beer. How could I resist the perfect Hamburg harbor combination. The fish was simple and delicious. The bread was just the right amount and the perfect outside crisp. I really could not have been happier with my afternoon lunch choice. The view of the water and the boats was an added plus to my meal. The perfect Hamburg afternoon!

Yelp
It wasn't good it wasn't bad. We paid 10€ for a low quality non-crunchy cold white bread. I'd expect them to offer better quality bread and make sure it's toasted nicely warm and crunchy - that was not the case. The amount of shrimps was good but still 10€ is definitely too much. The taste was ok, but nothing for me to come back for. I'd might try their Matjesherings or Backfisch next time

Yelp
This place is located right by the canals/bay and it was amazing! When I asked which one the server would recommend, he said the herring, even though it had a pickled kind of taste. I was a bit confused as what that would taste like, but I went with it anyways. I'm happy to report that it taste amazing! The fried fish tastes pickled, kind of like the sour taste from a tuna salad, but without the mayo, and along with the onions, the whole thing came together amazing! This was easily one of my favorite dishes in Hamburg, if not in Germany in general.

Yelp
Visiting Hamburg for the very first time, it was obligatory to try a Fischbrötchen. This joint on the St. Pauli Landungsbrücken did not disappoint! My boyfriend and I opted to try the classic- Bismarckhering- which we washed down with a side of Astra beer. It was the perfect combo. That plus the gorgeous view of the harbor, not even getting wet in the rain can destroy.

Yelp
Don't let the line or the placement in the touristy part of the piers fool you - the fish is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and there's a decent selection of food and drink, too. My wife and I were in line for about ten minutes. The line moved quickly, and we both got fried fish sandwiches and beers. We were seated inside, but had a view of a canal launching tour boats. It's a fun, quick stop. Seats are at fairly small tables, I wouldn't try coming here with more than four people.

Yelp
Super fresh fish in super fresh bread at a super reasonable price. There's a reason why this place came super highly recommended. Try the peppered fish, it's smoky and delightful.

Yelp
The food was not fresh and the taste was just okay. We had the fish sandwich which the moment I bit into it, I can tell it's been siting there for quite some time. Maybe it was just my bad luck because it seems other yelpers have had really fresh food from this place.

Yelp
The crab sandwiches taste at least as good as Frank Bürmann from The Art Of Hamburg [http://www.qype.com/place/482077-THE-ART-OF-HAMBURG-Hamburg ] likes it and the atmosphere is even better live as he has designed on his postcard [ ] so wonderful: this place has to be right on the top for your Hamburg-visit. Simply a dream - even in Hamburg's sometimes messy weather.

Yelp
The best Fischbrotchen. You know they have them really fresh. Since I have found them, I don´t eat them anywhere else.

Yelp
Really nice atmosphere, a perfect place to enjoy Fischbrötchen. Drinks were a bit pricey though

Yelp
Nice little place to get a yummy fish sandwich by the harbor. My husband and I stopped by Brücke 10 on an early Sunday evening to grab a bite before a concert at Docks. Unfortunately, we did not get to try fresh fish sandwiches but they were still tasty when warmed up. The vibe inside was very cozy, they were playing some very good tunes and the guy working behind the counter was nice. Definitely recommend.

Yelp

Yelp
Fischbrötchen - fish rolls - are Hamburg's traditional fast food, and currently experience a modest revival by . I expected to not like this place ... whenever I passed by here, there was a long lineup that looked awfully touristy and travel guide prescribed to me (since no other of the many fish roll stalls at Landungsbrücken is popular enough for lineups). Then it made the rounds that Brücke 10 kept the price of their shrimp roll at 10€ even when shrimp prices dropped on the market, almost double the 'regular price'. Turns out: they actually ARE better than the others. They all look like generous, fresh picture book samples of the different standard types of fish rolls. They serve them in a nice whitewashed locations with a good spirit. And most importantly: they actually taste really good. Most of their fish rolls aren't even that pricey, and that shrimp roll admittedly comes with a much heftier shrimp dosage than seen anywhere else. Will be back to sample more (haha I'd even buy a tasting menu, they were so good!), and is one ever in such a hurry when at Landungsbrücken?

Yelp
Delicious Fisch Brötchen. The queue is there for a reason. Good quality and quantity. Perfect ambiente and location. The krabben Brötchen is a must. Good staff.

Yelp
The Brücke 10 is a very nice fish snack bar at the Hamburg Landungsbrücken. The menu consists of several fish buns. The buns are very tasty and fresh. The location is modern and the staff is very nice. Enjoy

Yelp
Delicious crab-sandwich with a very tasty mayo-dressing. Lovely atmosphere and view over die Elbe and a good selection of beverages. Sweet staff also for non-german speaking people. For the future it would be nice to chose other bread types and garnish for the fish making it more like a sandwich. I'll be back for the crab ;)

Yelp
We bought 6 fish sandwiches as a take-away for dinner. The staff wrapped and packed them very carefully and they tasted amazing. If you ever visit Hamburg try one of their fish sandwiches :)
