I just realized I hadn't yet reviewed Bruhmarkt!
I must say that this is (location-wise) my favorite cafe in all of Frankfurt. It is within a walk from my flat, albeit a long one, and serves up some freaking delicious coffee.
They are owned by the same crew that owns Kaffeewerk Espressionist, so you know it must be pretty dang good stuff.
Bruhmarkt uses a variety of beans and always has a dark and light roast to offer customers. I typically stick with a flat white when there, and they even give me an option on that, which is not usually heard of (but necessary here in Germany as many people like a lighter and less potent roast). The coffee itself is great.
The cafe is minimalistic with a nice wood interior and caters to varieties of people, which is exactly what they get as a customer base. That is why I kind of like this place. You can't call it hipster or anything because it truly caters to the masses. Just walk inside and see the customer base. It is pretty incredible and I have never really seen a cafe with specialty coffee have such a uniquely wide group of customers.
I love their outdoor area despite it being located on a busy street and being loud. I often will work from here when sunny and their wifi works great on the terrace too. Wifi is free (as it should be given this is 2016). They are also open on Sundays.
Definitely a great place in Bockenheim and one I recommend coffee lovers to check out.
