Brûlerie du Quai and Chaleur B Chocolat

Brûlerie du Quai is everything you want in a cozy coastal café and more! We stopped in on a foggy morning during our stay in Carleton-sur-Mer, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our day. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a charming mix of indoor and outdoor seating to suit any mood. Inside, there's booth seating, table seating, and even whimsical swing seats that add a fun and memorable touch. The beverage selection is outstanding. We ordered a coffee and a chai latte, both expertly crafted and perfect for sipping slowly while watching the fog roll in. Their in-house pastries and desserts are equally impressive, fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming us with big smiles and helpful suggestions, and the vibe was so relaxed and easygoing that we felt right at home. We loved how easy it was to get there; just a 5-minute walk along the boardwalk from our hotel (Manoir Belle Plage). After our café break, we continued another 10 minutes down the boardwalk to Parc Germain-Deslauriers, making it a perfect stop on a scenic stroll through town. Whether you're looking for a caffeine fix, a sweet treat, or a cozy corner to relax, Brûlerie du Quai is a must-visit. Even on a misty day, it was full of warmth, charm, and seriously good coffee.

Friendly service, good prices, fresh products, can't beat it! We were happy to stumble on this place, a few blocks from our hotel. They had a good selection of different coffees as well as a few surprises, like hot cider! My boyfriend especially liked their London fog.

I love this place! Well located, they have a good selection of coffee and the view is absolutely amazing to enjoy it. I recommend absolutely everything since I tasted almost every item from the menu!

Great customer service, delightful dessert and Best mocaccino I've ever had! Well balanced, rich and tasty! Made with local chocolate from Chaleur B Chocolat, and freshly roasted coffee. You pick up the chocolate flavor you want. I highly recommend the place! Will definitely go back! :D

Best spot in the region to find coffee. Bulk bags you can fill or grind yourself, or pre-packages gift bags. The coffee take away was really outstanding. Plus there is lots of comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy. Either that or the short walk to the water. It’s nice and tucked saw a just off the highway, but not in traffic. We bought some chocolate too but were not at all impressed. So come for the coffee, not food and sweets. Oh and you can order the coffee online if you’re just passing through. The “Bosco” is best!

Friendly service with a wide selection of pastries and snacks and coffee. We had their croissants and macaroons which were phenomenal. The view overlooking the water is second to none.

The coffee is excellent. The food superb. The Maple Danish and the "Pain Perdue" a dynamite way to start the day. This interior with its benches and swings- imaginative and fun without being over the top. Excellent retail chocolate selection as well. Would highly recommend stopping here.

Pretty busy here in the morning. There are lineups during a good part of the day . They specialize in café style coffees and light meals. They have fresh pastries and baguette sandwiches. Our coffees were good but their almond croissant was great. It takes some time to get served due to their popularity. Great seating outside. Enjoy

Besides being a roasting artisan factory, I was excited when I found out that they make bean to bar chocolates. Their dark chocolate are made with only 3 ingredients: cocoa beans, cane sugar, cocoa butter. They contain no added aroma, which I highly appreciate. Some of their chocolate even won International awards. I got the 1kg bag of chocolate chips which can be used for cooking or eaten on its own.

Very good coffee, my boyfriend and I both had lattes. They had many choices of milk. The seating area outside was nice. They had a bunch of Adirondack chairs in front the brûlerie. We sat in those chairs, while sipping on our coffees under the warm sun.

We didn't find many places to get a good latte in the 'Baie des Chaleurs' area of Gaspesie so finding La Brulerie du Quai was a real treat. They have a full coffee menu with some food items if you are hungry and they have indoor and outdoor seating. Both the drink and food item I had were good. I wish we had come across it sooner and that it was closer to where we were staying in New Richmond as I would have gone a lot more often. Anyways, definitely recommended.

Trendy! I wanted a black tea lemonade and they made one for me even though it wasn't on the menu. Very friendly staff.
