A disappointing experience unworthy of the Brunello Cucinelli name
My spouse and I have been loyal Brunello Cucinelli customers for years—over $300K USD spent across Neiman Marcus and Stanley Korshak in the last two years alone, from made-to-measure suits to casualwear and outerwear. As new residents of Milan, we expected the flagship boutique on Via Monte Napoleone to embody the brand’s refinement. Unfortunately, the service here is consistently appalling.
During today’s visit, we waited over 35 minutes for our salesperson (Arsham), who twice acknowledged us while assisting another client purchasing eyeglass frames. When he finally approached us, it was only to say his shift was ending and he had to catch a flight. Thirty-five minutes of waiting for that? A complete disregard for clients’ time.
The store’s policies make the experience even worse: no returns under any circumstances, and merchandise credits can only be used at this exact store—not at any other Brunello Cucinelli boutique. Even basic inventory seems neglected—men’s shoes are only stocked in whole sizes, with half sizes unavailable unless ordered elsewhere.
After four disappointing visits, it’s clear this location fails to reflect the spirit or sophistication of the brand. If you value your time, service, and dignity as a customer, shop at La Rinascente instead—or anywhere but this boutique.
