Brunetti Classico Carlton

I visited this iconic café with my family, but unfortunately, I couldn’t try the coffee myself due to a sore throat. However, my family had only amazing things to say about it—apparently, the coffee here is an absolute banger! The desserts and pastries also looked fantastic. As a coffee lover, I’ll definitely be back to try it for myself when I’m feeling better. A must-visit spot for coffee enthusiasts in Melbourne!

First time here for breakfast. Just made the breakfast menu as it closes at 11am. Food was very good, fresh, vibrant, and tasty. The cakes are absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back. The 2 male waiters we not very friendly.

What a fantastic place for breakfast, lunch, or sweets. This is a huge establishment, separated by sections. There was the sweets and cakes section, breakfast, sandwich, and savory section. The place was also all decked up for Christmas. The food was amazing. I had the Benedict and my friend the egg omelet. Coffee was also great. I am glad we got to try this place as I think it's a must try for tourist and locals alike.

First time at this Carlton legend, and it is very impressive. Many food items from pizza through pasta to cakes and pastry and they all looked to be of very good quality. We had some different pastries and coffee. The danish and croissants were delicious. The coffee was very well made but perhaps lacking in a little up front punch for my taste. Nothing to kept me away mind you, just a first impression! Service was good, the atmosphere is old-world European charm. You really should visit.

I could never hate on the Institution that is Brunetti. It's busy for good reason - it has been serving coffee, traditional cakes, gelati, and savoury selections to generations of customers for 50 years! Their coffee might be expensive compared to most and you do have to serve yourself but it's strong, it's authentic and the cake selection is unparalled. Their new Tuscan Tart collection is a modern twist on classic favourites and the wheel of Tuscan tart choose for me and my friends when we couldn't decide on which ones to order because they all looked so good! The wheel is fun and interactive and something different and it ultimately customises your day. Whatever you're feeling, there is a slice for you! The Lime Tart was tangy and refreshing and don't discount the Carrot Cheesecake Tart for its sweet spices and creamy texture. The Tiramisu Tart is the perfect balance of bitter and sweet and the Chocolate Hazelnut Tart will satisfy any chocolate lover's cravings. But my favourite had to be the Rhubarb Panna Cotta Tart for its fruity yet velvety combo. Compared to their other desserts they are reasonably priced with a special if you order five slices (half a tart) or ten slices (full tart), no matter the flavour combo! Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, surprising some work colleagues, or treating yourself and your friends, share the taste of Tuscany.. or don't :P

This is by far my favourite bar in Melbourne. When you come to this city you must come here. This is Italy in a nutshell. The atmosphere is exactly why anyone should come to experience. As soon as you walk in you feel this sense of home. For me it’s best on morning weekends but also of course any other day of the week. Although always busy and frenetic, you feel relaxed and happy. Coffe, cakes, pizza, panini everything is delicious and authentic. I cannot describe more what this place is for us Italians, it’s really home.

A must visit! Everything is delicious from coffee to sweets and savory treats! The only real issue is to make up your mind for what you really want to eat/try. The staff is always friendly. The place is big and spacious with great ambiance. Their outdoor and indoor are equally inviting.
