- 75 Q per night to sleep in our Van - 25 Q per night for parking only - Noisy sometimes but not too much - Nice restaurant with food and wifi - Good showers (hot) and toilets We enjoyed it. Left the Van for 2 nights to visit the river and Livingston. Came back and slept two nights in the Van. Nice place to be IMO 🙂

Good food, good people and a long time staple of the Rio

This place is perfect for tourists on a budget, but not cheap, a room costs $40 dollars with AC. Parking a medium size RV overnight, costs $10 per night. Not bad since it includes clean showers and toilets with TP. You may use the facilities to seat around, or hang a hammock. Drawbacks; The food at the restaurant is pretty awful, and noise from big rigs coming down the bridge is pretty loud, and it happens all through the night !

For just Q50 I got a bed in the dorm for a night. I was worried after reading some of the reviews but the place ended up being great. There were six beds and a nice bathroom in the room, and no one was staying there but my friend and I so we had it to ourselves. There were no lockers but we kept the door locked so it didn't matter. Had dinner at the restaurant which was also very affordable and had reasonably good vegetarian/vegan options. It is right on the water and also right across the street from the Litegua bus station which was perfect.

We stayed here on two occasions during our trip--once on the way to Tikal and once on the way back. First, it's right on on the bay in Rio Dulce, in the city, almost under the bridge, but you do not even realize its proximity to the traffic. There are sailboats docked right in front, which give the place a nice atmosphere. The rooms were adequate, but we had trouble with the air conditioning on one night. There's a nice pool, but we didn't use it. The restaurant was excellent for all meals. On minor problem is that there is a boat repair facility right next door, and they start working promptly at 7. Because of the wall separating the facilities, this isn't a problem on the first and second floors, but it was a bit loud on the third floor--grinders and sanders.||We will definitely stay here again when we pass through.

The room was ok, but the TV screen was very very small. The checkout is at 11:00am. I liked they offered cheap beers until 7:00 pm. Lack of music, the pool was not clean. Drinks are not properly made, I ordered a Long Island Tea and it was made with coke and it tasted like plastic.

I mostly went to use the internet, but the internet server did not work and no one could figure out how to fix it. CNN news was blaring through out the dining area, Dining area was very hot and could have used some ceiling fans (or fans of any kind). Food was average, nothing special. I ordered a Jamica (a cold flower based tea) and it tasted like Kool-aid and not the delicious drink I have had in other places. Pico de Gallo looked old, like it was ;yesterday's.

We enjoyed a fabulous lunch here following a cruise on the Rio Dolce. |I can recommend the seafood soup cooked in coconut cream. It contained plenty of shrimp, fresh fish and conch and was delicious. It also came with a small grilled fish.|My friends had hamburgers, which they really enjoyed.|The locally made lemonade was very good.
