Yelp
I was looking for a sandwich shop on Yelp in the area and stumbled upon this place. My bf loves tri tip sandwiches so I figured this was the place to be.
The deli is located in the back, right when you enter you make a right and go down the aisle. We ordered two tri tip sandwiches ($13.99 each/ $30.57 total with tax), one with everything on it and the other without mayo. The guy making the sandwich was fairly quick on a Monday at lunchtime. As we waited, I noticed they had a huge variety of chips and drinks in the fridge. Not to mention potato and mac salads in the cases.
The tri tip sandwich had the tri tip marinated in the sauce, red onion, mayo, bbq sauce, mustard, tomato, and cheese on a sesame bun. The bun was nice, soft and slightly toasted. The tri tip was okay, I felt like it was a bit dry (though I opted for no mayo on mine). I did wish there was more of that bbq sauce on it. At other establishments that I've been to, the tri tip sandwiches are usually a bit more messy because of all the sauce. You could definitely taste the mustard and tomato. My bf said it was okay, he said the cheese threw him off because he isn't used to having cheese in his tri tip sandwiches.
There was a sign near the deli that said that if you ordered online, you can get 10% off your first order. I figured since I was already there, might as well just order in person. Plus, I saw when you check in on Yelp, you can get a $1 off your sandwich. However, when I walked up to the front to pay, I mentioned I had the Yelp check in for $1 off the sandwich and the young cashier lady just looked at me and said "I don't know what you're talking about ". When I showed her what showed up on my phone, she said "I've never seen this before" and her body language made me feel awkward for even asking to use the Yelp Check-In. So note to others that their check in coupon does not exist... so I guess don't even try to use it?
They have a parking lot for those that were wondering, you can park in there for 30 minutes while shopping. However, car spaces are limited and you can always park on the street if need be!
