"We would recommend booking a trip on the Downeaster, which travels through Brunswick and Portland in Maine and up to Boston."

I arrived here on the Downeaster train from Boston. The Station is small, but clean, and has a very friendly and informative staff, (1 person), along with very clean restrooms and a drinking fountain. Seating is non- existent inside, but there are several benches outside under the covered roof. The location is ideal, as it's walking distance from the campus and many eateries. Limited parking, and a couple of bus lines will stop here as well. A large grocery store, coffee shop and a couple of lunch restaurants surround the Station, with the Brunswick Hotel directly across the street. Safe and clean. A small park and bench directly across the street is a welcome rest spot too.

Nice station and long boarding platform, but the parking situation is pretty abysmal. Got there 30-minutes early for the 7:10 a.m. train to Boston and there were no open spots in the paid parking lot (though there are only about 30 spots there to begin with). We ended up parking at the Park and Ride lot, which is free, but it’s about a six-minute walk from the station. It’s good to have that option but it’s definitely not convenient for folks who have mobility issues.

The Brunswick Station is part of the Downeaster Line this is the last station stop. This station has somewhat frequent service to Boston and they use the old diesel locomotives. The station is clean and it’s pretty small but serves its purpose. There is also a gift shop and information center. When you leave the station the surrounding area is walkable. Unfortunately Amtrak is regularly late.

Good signage, amenities, easy to get on / off. Located right down town.

Google had a surprisingly hard time finding the train station for me. It took me on a couple residential loops before finally getting me there. I took the 710 AM train to Boston and was surprised that the station was open so early. It was warm, comforting, and had clean bathrooms. My train was 30 min late to North Station. My original train (same day, 11 AM) was cancelled last minute and I had to scramble to figure out alternative travel plans. Super inconvenient and the Amtrak customer service rep was rude and not helpful. The Brunswick STATION, however was very nice.

Such a cute station. Very clean bathrooms and welcome center with loads of tourist pamphlets of things to do nearby. Not a lot of seating. Have some restaurants nearby that I imagine you can hangout in while waiting for a train.

I love the idea of taking the train from Brunswick to Boston so we don't have to deal with the crazy parking and we can relax rather than drive. But recently we took the train from Brunswick to Boston and everything was fine until we had to go to the bathroom. The smell it was bad worse than any porta potties I've been in. Someone needs to do a clean up in those bathrooms regularly cuz it's really bad. Otherwise it was a great little ride and made it really easy to get down there so that we could get over to Logan and head off to our vacation. We need got business class on the way back and are hoping that the bathrooms are in better shape. If they are better I'm not sure that we should pay 50% more just to get clean bathrooms

Sucks that the line doesn't go further north towards Bangor or Acadia but that's not Brunswick's fault (I hope). Definitely one of my favorite stations that I've ever been to. Good location in town and the welcome center makes it feel a lot more homey than just the sheltered bench most towns go for
