"At Brussels Bistro, best friends Thomas and Nicolas bring a taste of Belgium to Laguna with everything from Belgian beers on tap to large pots of mussels and fries double-cooked in beef fat. Also on the menu is a hearty beef stew served in a traditional Le Creuset pot, and a divine roasted salmon with sun-dried tomatoes, pesto, and Belgian stoemp (a type of mashed potato). The mushroom soup was one of the best I’ve ever had, and it came with a puff pastry that paired so well with the soup I thought of ordering a second bowl. 100% recommend! The mussels were cream with the garlic, very tender and easy to consume. The garlic was very light, while the cream was full. Everything was served piping hot and perfectly cooked. Fries are cooked in beef tallow for a rich crispness, and thick cut for the Belgian flare.

We visited for New Year's Eve, marking our first experience dining there. The service was excellent, and the food was delightful. We ordered the Beef Bourguignon and hanger steak, along with bitterballen. Everything was delicious, the portions were just right, and the prices were reasonable. We highly recommend this place!

Visited Brussels bistro after maybe 10 years and nothing had changed (other than the prices). Great selection of Belgian beers and signature cocktails. Great delicious food and a great cozy atmosphere. I had their IPA beer with 9% alcohol and their French baguette with butter. The I had their famous pork shoulder for my main course with fingerling po. To be honest was a bit underwhelmed with the pork but tried my wife’s burger and it was delish! Afterwards around 10, they cleared out the tables and brought the DJ equipment out but we already had decided to leave.

Very nice outdoor seating. Excellent service. Good menu with a variety of selections for everyone. Reasonable prices, all dishes tried during multiple visits were good. Fries are super crispy. Burger is good. Acon wrapped brie, beef carpaccio. Underrated.

Went here to try something different with my family. I ordered the asparagus side and escargot, and my kids mac and cheese. It was good, not great. The $8 asparagus side came with 5 small spears that seemed to be on the older side as their stems had wrinkles (asparagus aging). The escargot with the baguette was good, and I think it is the same escargot that wholefoods sells around the corner. I loved having a whole freshly baked baguette which for me was the highlight. Great service and fun street side dining.

Stumbled onto this cozy restaurant for dinner while traveling. We loved the food, excellent service and overall vibe. Staff was friendly and helpful, food came out super fast and was delicious. We shared the salmon toast and bacon wrapped brie appetizers plus a small order of mussels. Everything was amazing! We will be back to try other dishes.
