Im a regular at this Belgian restaurant and have a consistent experience of quality food matching perfectly with the astute service and warm atmosphere. The beer selection is vast, and the chef's menu that rotates specials is always impressive. This is a favorite for me and my crew and we often end up choosing this place for our friday night starting point due to the optimum options guaranteed to satiate our hunger and thirst. The people who work here are genuinely sweet and professionalism is about the local standard here. The managers work the crowds well while assertive servers keep a tidy table. They run a tight ship in this place and my mass respect goes to this crew and kitchen for how they make it happen every time. The Bruxx beer is perfect

For our anniversary we chose to celebrate at Bruxx and it turned out to be a beautiful evening. Welcomed with glasses of Prosecco, then appetizers and mains. Very professional service. Exactly what we expected. (Mussels were even above expectations )

During peak hours at lunchtime and in the evening, there should be two people at the reception. The reception area should be clearly marked. When I arrived, I couldn't see a reception desk. So I went into the restaurant and found a table. The receptionist, who finally arrived a few minutes later at the table, wasn't at all pleased about this. So, unfortunately, my first impression wasn't the best. I ordered mussels à la Milanaise. First, a bag arrived containing four small pieces of baguette. The portion of mussels was adequate. Unfortunately, the sauce wasn't creamy. I could find shallots, parslay and taste a little Parmesan, but not white wine or garlic.

Made a reservation here based on the reviews and looking for a good place to bring kids. Our first impression was great. Nice staff, good atmosphere, and good service. What surprised me the most was the food. The food was great, my wife and I ordered the steak and the meatballs, both plates were delicious and well done. Both the kids got the schnitzel and they loved it. I appreciate that the restaurant had an indoor play area for the children and an art attendant on the weekends. I would recommend to everyone to walk outside the city center of Prague and come here. You will get higher quality food, better service, and much better prices than the over priced places in the old town. Will be back here many times over next time we visit.

Bruxxis an absolute gem! They offer a great variety of beers, delicious seafood, and my personal favorite— coque au vin—which is simply stunning. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are friendly, and the service is excellent. For those who prefer non-alcoholic options, their homemade lemonade is just as impressive. Definitely a place to go

Great Belgian beers on tap, great mussel dishes and you can even get tiny fried fish with your meal. Super yummy, the mussels with red curry sauce are especially good.

A wonderful restaurant with a true Belgian atmosphere! Very cozy interior and a lively yet comfortable vibe — perfect for a relaxed dinner or a long evening with wine or Belgian beer. Special thanks to our waiter Maxim — outstanding service! He was attentive, friendly, professional, and had excellent knowledge of the menu. Maxim gave us great recommendations, explained everything in detail, and truly made our evening special. You can really feel that he cares about the guests and their experience. The food was delicious, service was fast, and everything was at a very high level. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Prague. Thank you to the whole team, and especially to Maxim, for a fantastic evening!

What an amazing place! This has been one of my alltime favorites for over 10 years 🥰 the food is amazing and the service is attentive, polite and knowledgeable of their menu. I have been here at least 20 times over the years and have never been disappointed ❤️🙌🫶 Incredible oysters, wonderful mussels, fantastic choice of beers and sensational cocktails! On top of all this it’s a great place to go to with small kids as they have a perfect, closed off play-area. Make sure to ask for a table close by as to avoid running around. Absolute MUST-GO-TO in Prague - you won’t be disappointed!

Catching up on vacation reviews... My food adventures had a slow buildup on this trip but Bruxx was the game changer! When we sat down, we were greeted by a friendly face who poured us our complimentary shots of something delicious! They were able to understand us speaking English and broken Czech and were very gracious about it. We started slowly with some appetizers and quality time in this lively and lovely setting. Everything was so amazing that we just kept trying all the things on the menu. It's hard to pick a favorite but my oysters were so good, I did order a second round! It was a great seafood meal for me rounded out by the calamari, prawns and mussels. But everything on the table was delicious and enjoyable and the service was spot on. French onion soup was rich and flavorful. Shrimp pompadour was buttery and good. The cheese plate is a perfect little indulgence. And the desserts were beautiful and decadent. Honorable mention to the cone of fries we got with the yummy mayo that is still haunting my dreams! This was a great place for a little vacation indulgence and there was a nice holiday market just a short walk away when we left.

Went with some friends to this very popular and busy restaurant for the mussels which we were not disappointed. I ordered the lobster bisque, but as it is quite different from the one I'm used too as I prefer New England version of the dish. The service and the ambience were amazing.

Good atmosphere and friendly staff. I ordered the burger and thought to include a bit too much ketchup and mustard to be enjoyable.

Belgian food in Prague! This city has a pretty good and diverse international cuisine scene. Bruxx is extremely popular, and you'll notice quickly that this place gets crowded. I like the atmosphere because it's a huge 2-story location full of life and energy...and that life and energy must come from all of the Belgian beer that everyone is drinking! The Czech Republic is known for being a beer country; however, in my opinion, Czech beer has NOTHING on Belgian beer, and when you drink at Bruxx you'll see that this is true. It's not cheap, you'll probably pay twice what you'd pay for Staropramen or Pilsner, but it can be twice as good as well. I had my best beers at Bruxx, and the food was very good as well!

Bruxx is a fair alternative to typical cuisine options in Prague. As you can imagine, they serve Belgian-inspired food. I'd say it's a cool spot for a sophisticated date due to the sleek, elegant interior, but can be attended for any purpose, as evidenced by a play room for kids out by the bathroom. SO random! Service here was spotty; it took a while to order and get our food, plus it came out sporadically. If I remember correctly, one person in our party of five didn't even get part of her food (salad, I think). Their stand out food, to me, was the cheese plate. It was really delicious. My burger was just okay. They also offer flights of your choosing here. I like that, but unfortunately they only had a handful of good beer options -- most of the options are pretty prolific, like Hoegaarden. If you have a hankering for Belgian cuisine, this is likely your best option in Prague. It's on the pricier side, so I'd keep that in mind. Otherwise, it's easily accessible via public transport - Namesti Muro station. It's right behind the church to the left.

In Prague, there is no better service that can be found for a nice dine in restaurant. Delicious food with exceptional drinks make this a great place to dine and gather with friends. It is touted as a place with a vast array of mussels and French cuisine. Stop at this out of the way and have brunch inside or out if you have a lucky weather day.

[OVERALL] A little on the pricey side. However, the restaurant is always busy, and the food is pretty good. I give Bruxx 3 stars because the food doesn't really match up to the price, but I would definitely come back. [FOOD] Belgian Beef Burger: The burger was pretty good, but both the meat and bun were a little dry. The fries were classic Belgian fries, quite thick. It's a good choice if you're craving a burger. Liege Waffle: This was quite disappointing. You get two pieces of very small waffle. The whipped cream is European style and not sweet at all. The ice cream was a little icy. The chocolate sauce was pretty good though.

I've been here twice now for dinner at the bar. Both times I've had the mussels and they were very good. Make sure to order some bread to soak up the extra broth. They have a good selection of Belgian beers. I noticed that they are very careful about the pour sizes for the beer and wine. We wouldn't want to give you a little too much now would we? The service is good and most of the staff speaks some English. Since they are right at the Namesti Miru Metro stop it's easy to get to this restaurant.

Awesome mussels and fries and exceptional waffles!!! I really didn't expect something that good and affordable in the center of Prague. Me and my friend shared one portion of the mussels and it still was too much! So go there if you're really hungry

A very stylish restaurant that serves all kinds of beers and amazing seafood and mussels. They also have theme weeks, so, check out their specials. Their lobster week is just amazing! If you have kids, this is also a place with one of the best kids corners I have ever seen in Prague. This restaurant is great for chilled evenings with friends as well as romantic dinners.

Belgian restaurant with great location, grande decor and above all excellent service. They serve a huge variety of special Belgian beers and lovely homemade lemonades and ice tea. The mussels are very popular, as well as the Belgian fries that are served in a paper cone. If you decide to go for the chicken salad, don't be surprised if the chicken is clearly pink. I asked the waiter about it and apparently it is cooked with a vacuum method and it is meant to be pink. All food has great quality so you can enjoy the dining experience. Overall very nice restaurant and especially the service has been very good every time I've been there!

yummy! get the mussels and fries! they're really good. Rose Hoegarden is also great to drink with the meal.

Belgian-style restaurant on náměstí Míru, serving a number of Belgian-French dishes in a charming setting with high ceilings and classic decor. Service is good. We had two types of mussels with pomme frites; the mussles were great, and the broth they were cooked in could have been a meal in itself with a baguette. They have a selection of Belgian and Czech beers on tap and by the bottle.

Had an excellent early dinner here tonight. They go all-out to feel like Brussels -- lots of variations on moules frites, lots of Belgian beers. I had an excellent smoked potato soup -- presented as a composition of a pillow of pureed mushrooms and a large raviola, over which the liquid part of the soup was decanted. Felt like I was in a high-end restaurant. Tasted like it too, it was outstanding. Had a simple burger and fries, though the burger was very much created out of their own flavors -- and the fries were genuine double-fried Belgian frites. With a couple of cold Duvels, what was not to love? The staff was friendly and gracious... a delightful dinner after stopping by Prague Andy's Laundromat down the street.

Hmhmhm not sure how to start. I went to bruxx from two reasons - lobster week and it's my birthday day. So why not. This is not a place you will be going every other day to have dinner. It's expensive place. You can get lobster cheaper in USA :) if you have the trip there. However THE MUSCLES omg delicious. We had the bruxx muscles and yes. I can imagine to return to have those. We finished with raspberry cake which was what we called the cherry on the top of the cake (understand it's just put everything together in one great dining evening) :)

I went to Belgium earlier in the semester and was missing Mussels in Brussels so I decided to come to Bruxx so I could have a little bit of Brussels in Prague. Just to note: this was also a treat yourself kind of meal because it's super pricey for a restaurant in Prague. I decided I would go all out with this so I wound up getting the mussels and fries as well as the salmon fish and chips. I also got a Liege waffle for dessert (oh, my wallet was not thanking me after this meal). Anyways, the mussels were pretty good, but it was more of a quantity over quality sort of satisfaction. I was pretty impressed with the salmon fish and chips because I have never seen salmon cooked that way and it was quite tasty, but the portion size on that was small. Lastly, the portion size on the waffle was incredibly small as well, even though it was delicious. The only complaint that I really had other than portion sizes is that fact that we had to wait for an extremely long time to get our food.

To start with, I am not a fan of places like that in general. But to be fair, I strongly believe the price in Bruxx is not worth what you are getting. We ordered mussels, belgium fries and duck with potatoes. It looked nice, but the taste was very average. The desserts looked very nice, but since the main course experience was not the best, we chose to look for desserts some place else. The interior is probably a matter of taste. Well, to be honest - not my scene at all. But the staff were nice and helpful.

Lovely location for this pub / restaurant, interior looks very genuine, you can see they put quite an effort to have it look exactly like this. There is a great selection of Belgium beers, you can either pick some lager or you can order little set of beers for testing :) food is nice, I tried just one meal to be honest, once it was very good, the other time a bit colder and not that tasty. Service is also a bit unbalanced, sometimes they are right at your table, sometimes you can sit there for minutes and minutes, just to observe some waiters to chat and the other to create reservations for other tables.

We had the fish dinner for two and wine and their own brewery Bruxx beer. The staff (beyond the hostess) was very pleasant, and seemed to appreciate our feeble attempts at Czech. A little on the pricey side for Prague but the table service and food was excellent. That hostess can throw you off though. Persevere through rolling eyes and terrible attitude and a good dinner and service awaits

Yes yes yes.. a great restaurant which lots of choice and great atmosphere.. highly recommend it!

Nice decor and great food The place is very busy with a nice level of energy set in a beautiful place with wood booths and great decor The menu is varied with a large selection of mussels as well as steaks and other dishes I tried the mussels steamed with white wine and an order of fries and accompanied the food with some nice beers

The beer tasters are a nice and cheap way to try out the different flavors. My favorite was definitely the bruxx beer. The tintin oysters were also very flavorful, had a nice thai soup taste to them

Dining Date March 18, 2015 for dinner. Really cool Belgian bar/restaurant with excellent atmosphere and energy. Decor especially around the bar is very elaborate. The menu is classic Belgian with several choices of mussels & oysters. Very good selection of beers on tap and in bottles. Overall the food and service were very good. There is even a play area for kids with a climbing gym filled with jumpy balls. Excellent opportunity for your kids to play while enjoying beer and mussels (or one of the other meals). Prices are a bit higher here in the center of Prague 2, but overall still a great deal.

Great place. Nice interior with huge clock in the center. About ten beers on tap and another twenty in the bottle. It's generally good slection from more mainstream belgian beers. Price is just like any other shop/pub in Prague with about 80 to 100 CZK per 0.33 ltr. Food is good but not outstanding and bit overpriced. Service is great, professional and way better I expected from something called "pub".

Great restaurant! Belgian cuisine that includes a great meatball dinner. The prices were reasonable and the restaurant was willing to let us share the main course. They also allow well behaved small dogs to sit under the table where their family is eating. The wine by the glass selection was a bit limited but adequate.

Second time here and the duck breast. It was delicious and a good portion. Most interesting is the big choice of Belgian beer. The service was friendly and accurate as last time. I also liked the atmosphere.

Very good and quick service. Nice atmosphere. Great beer selection. Unfortunately the ipa I wanted was out but I was immediately offered a good alternative hoppy ale. My steak was decent with a nice sauce made from duck fois gras. Great taste.

2nd time here this week and just as wonderfull as the first......mussels and fries at midnight...a huge portion and exquisite flavours The octopus and olive rigatoni is to die for... A must visit if you are within train distance

I've been traveling for 3 months. This is the worst meal and experience I have had. I am assuming people leaving the reviews haven't had better food and that's ok. But trust me. This place is worth skipping. Very overrated.

Found our new favorite restaurant in Prague. Great food great service great experience. We tried several starters to taste as much as we could. Give it all a try. You won't be disappointed. Beer sampler, prawns, mussels, gratin potatoes and Brie. Really good food.

Yeah, sure - the prices are a bit steep. But what a place! An absolutely stunning interior that makes you forget you are in Prague (you could be anywhere in Europe), great food, one hell of a collection of Belgian beers, and a good but overworked staff (so yes, a but slow at times, but very much present when they finally have time for you). If this place was 2/3 the price, I'd be here minimum once a week.

I just had fries and the beer tasting-- it was fine. A bit overpriced. And the waiting staff seemed a bit slow...

Good food and great beers. Helpful staff that went out of their way to find us a table when we came without reservation (who would know the place would be packed on a Monday night?). Mussels, oysters and shrimp were good, in general good seafood. Prices are a bit higher than average in Prague, but worth every cent/koruna!

Such a great restaurant. Bruxx has an exquisite selection of Belgian beers, and a fantastic menu to match. I had the Kasteel Rouge, a deliciously dark cherry beer, with some Bruxx Mussels and Belgian fries. Everything was well prepared, delicious, and the portions were generous. I will definitely be coming back.

If you're looking for a nice place to have a dinner with friends, this is a great place to visit. As per its name, it's a Belgian restaurant where you can choose from different types of muscles, meat, fish, burger, typical fries and of course wide range of beers. I've chosen the muscles soup and burger with fries. And it was indeed very nice meal I got on the table. Together with the design of the restaurant (and it's non smoking) it's already a place I will certainly visit again but it wouldn't feel so special without the service, which made our night very nice experience and I did appreciate the way they treated us. I only didn't try one of the good-looking desserts, even though to finish the night with 16 yo Lagavulin was an excellent choice as well.
