Food and Fitness Classes Across the Country

"There’s no food and fitness mashup more festive than Bryant Park’s Winter Village, hosting food and artisanal boutiques as well as a 17,000-square-foot rink. The Lodge, a new rinkside bar and food hall open through March, features New York City restaurants like Mah-Ze-Dahr Bakery, Pierogi Boys, Good Stock and a s'mores bar by Squish Marshmallows as well as an outdoor beer garden for the injured or otherwise non-skating members of your crew." - Marguerite Imbert

Br Park is such a refreshing little escape in the heart of the city 💚 Surrounded by cafes and busy streets, it’s a place where you can just slow down for a bit. It’s green, peaceful, and open — the kind of spot where you can sit on a bench, sip your coffee ☕, have a snack or lunch 🍴, and take a break from the non-stop energy of Manhattan. Whether you’re walking, waiting for a ferry, or just need a pause, it’s the perfect place to breathe. 🌿 A little pocket of calm in the chaos. Definitely a spot I’d come back to. 👉 RECOMMEND 🍃 (Personally mine)

The constant rain didn’t deter us - we so enjoyed this annual tradition! Eat the food, pick up some locally made goods, enjoy the people-watching and the atmosphere of the holidays in the city. I loved talking to the shop owners, how long they’ve been in business, how long they’ve come to the winter village. I’ll buy from small business owners all day, every day ❤️ Can’t wait to come back next year!

The bumper cars were amazingly fun!! So glad we were able to do this. Some of the ride attendants weren't super pleasant, but overall AWESOME experience! The rest of the winter village was pretty darn cool too, so many food vendor options & the Lodge was super cute/fun!

Would definitely recommend for a fun skating event with friends family and loved ones. Can avoid the crowd if you’re going during the weekday and busy times. Great place to take family visiting NYC from out of town or the country!

Visiting Bryant Park during the holiday season is like stepping into a magical Christmas card. Nestled in the heart of Manhattan, the park transforms into a festive wonderland that captures the spirit of the holidays perfectly. The Christmas Village, also known as the Winter Village, is a must-see. Rows of charming boutique shops line the park, offering unique gifts, handmade crafts, and holiday trinkets that you won’t find anywhere else. It’s the perfect place to pick up thoughtful presents or simply enjoy browsing through the festive stalls. The ice skating rink is the centerpiece of the park, and it’s free to use if you bring your own skates! Surrounded by twinkling lights and the towering skyscrapers of the city, it’s a magical experience whether you're gliding gracefully or wobbling along for fun. When it comes to food, Bryant Park does not disappoint. The numerous food shops and pop-up eateries serve up everything from gourmet hot chocolate and freshly baked pastries to savory snacks like empanadas and pretzels. My personal favorite? The warm Belgian waffles and steaming cups of mulled cider—they’re the perfect way to keep cozy while exploring. Whether you’re looking to shop, skate, or simply soak up the festive vibes, Bryant Park at Christmas is an absolute delight. It’s a quintessential New York City holiday experience that’s guaranteed to fill you with cheer and holiday spirit.

Bryant Park is the perfect spot to relax outdoors, enjoy a picnic, have an ice cream, or simply read a book. We’ve visited at different times of the day during summer, and there’s always a lively atmosphere, with events and even food trucks occasionally offering free snacks. Plus, it serves as the gateway to the New York Public Library and is surrounded by amazing shops and museums like Stavros Niarchos, Kinokuniya, and The Morgan Library & Museum. Definitely a must-visit in the city.

Bryant Park Winter Village is hands-down one of my favorite spots to visit during the holiday season. The moment you step into the park, it feels like you’ve walked into a winter wonderland. Between the twinkling lights, the cozy market stalls, and the smell of warm pretzels and hot cocoa in the air, it’s impossible not to feel the holiday spirit. The ice-skating rink is definitely the star of the show. It’s free to skate if you bring your own skates (a huge bonus in a city where everything costs a fortune), and the backdrop of skyscrapers makes it feel like you’re in a holiday movie. Even if you’re not skating, it’s fun to just watch people having a blast out there. The holiday shops are amazing too. It’s like a little European market tucked right into the middle of Manhattan. You can find everything from handmade jewelry and unique gifts to the most delicious snacks. I can never leave without grabbing a hot chocolate and something sweet to munch on while I wander around. What I love most about the Winter Village is the vibe. It’s busy, but it never feels overwhelming, and there are plenty of places to sit and soak it all in. They even have fire pits and cozy corners where you can warm up if it gets too chilly. Whether I’m meeting up with friends, spending time with family, or just taking a solo stroll, Bryant Park Winter Village always puts me in the holiday mood. It’s such a fun and festive way to celebrate the season—I can’t recommend it enough!

It’s a magical holiday experience at Bryant Market in New York City. There is no shortage of hot chocolate and loved watching the skating rink come to life at night. Definitely gets busy, but it’s a real fun place to walk around. Not so fun prices, but such is the nature of these kinds of markets. You gotta take one for the team, shop local, support small businesses, (insert buzz words)…
