We stayed one night while we were visiting Bryce Canyon. |We really liked our cabin and the set up. We had a room with 2 queen beds, there was a fridge and microwave. It was a great set up. Our only issue was that water in shower got cold very fast, but was not an issue with sink. Otherwise we loved it and breakfast at the Coffee shop was great and we also really enjoyed the pizza place next door. We would definitely stay here again!

What a perfect inn in Tropic! Yes, Bryce Canyon City is closer to the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park, but it’s very touristy. Tropic is a delightful little town nearby with a population of around 500. The hotels and restaurants are charming.|This is the first time we stayed in our own log cabin! The interior of our room was paneled in ponderosa pine—no wonder with all the nearby ponderosa pine forests. ||Our room was spacious, modern, and comfortable. Parking was right outside of our cabin. Since we wanted to get off to an early start at the park, we ordered a quick breakfast every morning at the hotel lobby. Coffee was great, too! We enjoyed dinner at Showdowns (a couple of blocks from the inn) with a country singer.

A small hotel, 28 detached cabins with parking outside each. Ok room size, immaculately clean, TV, WiFi, fridge, microwave and toiletries. Breakfast not provided but small cafe has a decent choice. Two nice bar/restaurants 200 metres walk in opposite directions. Showdowns dinner with country singer and Rustlers for great breakfast. A really nice place for a stop for Bryce Canyon.

Everything from booking to check out was fantastic! First time to Bryce Canyon area so when I called to find out info on the area, the lady took the time to explain where there location was in proximity to the park and also lots of other great advice. We stayed in cabin 13 which was way bigger than we needed for just my husband and me but was all they had available. Would be great with a family. Stayed just one night on our roadtrip from AZ to WA. Immaculately clean and I’m pretty picky when it comes to that. Everything seemed new and fresh. Very spacious and was a great place to relax after a long day of driving. We went for a walk through Tropic. Small quaint little town. Enjoyed Pizza at their connecting restaurant which was wonderful. My favorite part was before checking out, grabbing the most delicious home made banana bread and perfect cup of coffee before hitting the road. They have a cafe too in their lobby. Highly suggest staying here!! Mossy Cabe Trail was a great spot for a morning walk with incredible views!! 10/10 stay for sure!!

The Bryce Canyon Inn was an absolute gem. Our family loved the accommodations- spotless room, comfortable beds, and no shared walls meant a great night’s sleep. After a busy day at Bryce Canyon, it was so peaceful to leave the hustle and bustle of the crowds and come back to the small town of Tropic. Loved that restaurants, laundry and grocery store were all within a short walk of our cabin. Highly recommend!!!

Google
We stayed at a rental house just around the corner from the coffee shop. The house was so convenient that we could walk to several food places. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. The wranglers dropped us off at our house after our rides because they went right past it to where they lived. As far as the mule rides, words cannot describe how wonderful they were. Each place we went was different and more beautiful than the previous one. The only thing I would recommend is taking a gel seat for the saddle. We are experienced riders and we still had saddle sores! But, luckily we took a day off after two rides and then had two more rides before we left. The rides are worth every penny. It is a lifetime experience that will never be forgotten. June was a good month to go.

Our overnight at Bryce Canyon Inn was perfect! We stayed in the Powell Point cabin and it felt like a real home away from home! So beautiful, so perfectly clean - couldn't ask for more comfortable accommodations. Next time we will stay longer! The staff was super friendly and the coffee, snacks, and sandwiches available at the office made for a quick, easy breakfast. Had a little problem with the TVs but we weren't there long enough for it to be an issue.

Google
Stayed here for a night to visit BCNP and it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. The location can’t be beat and the prices are great especially for how large the cabins are. Super clean, quiet safe location. The staff were all SO nice which made the experience even better. Plus there’s a coffee shop/cafe on sight which made an already busy morning a lot better. Can’t recommend this place enough and look forward to coming back!

Yelp
Stayed here on a road trip between Zion & Bryce. We were in Henderson 11. It was a gem! Very clean, bigger dorm fridge w small freezer & microwave. The bed was comfy. Would stay here again

Yelp
Amazing accommodations really close to Bryce Canyon. Tons of room for our family of 5 and incredibly clean. I'm a really picky hotel guest and this place was PERFECT! Very friendly staff too!

Yelp
My favorite accommodation on our 9-day trip to Bryce, Zion, and Grand Canyon National Parks. It's a quick 15-20 minute drive to Bryce Canyon National Park. The spacious log cabin was immaculate, comfy and cozy with a view of the red rocks from our small porch, equipped with table and chairs. There was a spacious refrigerator and powerful microwave. The laundromat about a block or so away was convenient. I really have no complaints except it would be nice to include a complimentary cup of coffee from the coffee shop attached to the hotel.

Yelp
My family recently stayed in two of the deluxe cabins. Seven adults and three toddlers. If I could rate the accommodations a 10 out of a 10 I would!! What beautiful, spacious, and comfy cabins. Two bedrooms one with a king sized bed private bath, the other with two queens and it's own private bath amazing amount of room. Each cabin had a spacious family area with a gas fireplace, large recliner and large reclining couch!! Gorgeous wood finish interior that was do warm and inviting, I wish we could have stayed for a week. Thank you so much Bryce Canyon Inn for your beautiful motel.

Yelp
Marginal stay. Broken remote, bird shit in door snd chair, filthy windows with view of bird shit..out of coffee at breakfast and a lumpy horrid mattress.
google avatar

Yelp
Cabins are super cozy and the beds are so soft. It's nice that they are separate units so you cannot hear neighbors at all. We slept soooo well. The little cafe where you check in has excellent grab and go hot or cold snacks and coffee/espresso for the morning. Very friendly staff. We loved our stay here and are so happy to have found it. Recommend taking the highway 12 loop if you have time. Totally worth the extra drive and absolutely beautiful and unique.

Yelp
Pizza could've used more sauce and it was slightly overpriced. Otherwise not bad. Fairly quick

Yelp
Small rooms, but fantastic stay overall. We stayed in the king room, it was not a tremendous amount of space but considering we were in the park most of the time it didn't matter. I have to brag about their AMAZING coffee at their coffee shop which is where you check in. It was so fantastic, I was stunned! Have the availability to that level of coffee, one minute walk from my room before 8am is priceless in my world. We got bagels and pastries for breakfast before hitting the park too. It's a small drive to Bryce Canyon from the inn, about ten minutes or so, and the drive was beautiful and peaceful. We had some awesome food spots all within a mile from where we stayed so I would definitely recommend this place if staying near Bryce. The small homes/cabins that they have available looked incredibly charming, new and spacious, and if we had more than just the two of us I would rent that space out.

Yelp
Give this place a chance and you won't regret it. Cute little community 15 minutes from the hiking trails in Bryce. Restaurants are walking distance and can place orders to pick up and enjoy in the comfort of your cabin after a long day of hiking. I absolutely fell in love with the location and room. Everything about it was perfect.

Estera M.

Yelp
Spent two nights here. Parking was easy and convenient. The pizza shop next door was delicious. Great service, good food, and decent pricing (we had dinner from there both nights). That morning we got coffee and croissants on property before we went to the park. That was great to be able to walk to! Probably the best option. Not the closest to the park but the cleanest looking and closer to better food options than the others.
google avatar

Rob D.

Yelp
Cute little cabins. About 20 minutes away from the main entrance to Bryce. Cool little coffee shop attached and a pretty good pizza place a couple doors down.
google avatar

Yelp
There is not much in Tropic, but this place is really great. Not fancy but Terrific little motel like place but with little separate cabins. Its not a motel really. Its cheap ($90 plus tax for double queens off season), rustic mountain feel with wood beams. Very clean amd cozy. Great little coffee shop attached. The pizza shop they run is really terrific! Great sweet crust and lots of pies. You can cork the wine amd take back to your room. Id stay again.

Yelp
I absolutely enjoyed my stay here. As a solo traveler, the cabin was enough for 3 people. Lol. Very clean and equipped with everything you need. Their office also serves as a place to have breakfast. Coffee and burrito is what I had. The staff is super friendly. I will stay here again when I visit!!!

John C.

Yelp
We spent one night in one of the cabins. It was very nice and cozy. Very comfortable bed. The biggest plus is they have a couple of Tesla chargers on the premises. We were cutting it real close on our battery charge. I guess I miscalculated the distance between Page, Arizona and St George, Utah. So this really saved our butts.
google avatar

Yelp
I love this cabin!!! Super cute n soooo clean. Bed was comfy. Ill stay here again. Also check in was easy. Always a plus when theres a coffee shop there

Cameron M.

Yelp
Great stay at the Bryce Canyon Inn. It's tough because we like to stay at chains so we know what to expect. This place was adorable, we stayed in a nice little log cabin. The bathroom was super clean and the room itself was clean too. The lady up front checking us in was super nice. You check in at the coffee shop because the inn also runs the coffee shop and pizza restaurant. The TV in the room was very clear too. Overall, this was a success and we loved every minute of our time ar the Bryce Canyon Inn.

Yelp
We stayed in one of the Family cabins. Overall it was fine given the lack of options in the area, but compared to places in more populated towns I didn't love it. Pros: all of the lamps have outlets on them, so it was very easy to charge phones. There is a TV in the living area, as well as in the bedrooms. Cons: Wifi was painfully slow and almost unusable at times. I have T-Mobile and was on roaming data in Tropic, so it was pretty annoying to deal with lack of WiFi as well. Also, something (maybe the water heater?) was making a lot of noise whenever water was running in the cabin, which can be disturbing to light sleepers if someone else is showering/using water at night. The bathroom in the second bedroom was extremely small - the sink area is not walled off from the bedroom, and the part behind the bathroom door fits a toilet and shower - barely.

Yelp
My husband and I were on vacation traveling up from Moab. The Inn had excellent reviews on Hotel.com. We pulled in and were pleasantly greeted by Shawna-super nice. We got a beautiful cabin, nice and clean and quiet. Very happy with our choice

Yelp
This review is for the motel rooms (NOT the cabins) at this place. We stayed here for a night as we were visiting BCNP. When we booked the room, I only saw pics for the cabins and didn't understand that I was getting something much different. I saw the pic of two beds but didn't realize our room was in a separate building away from the cabins. The room was very small, did not have a fridge or microwave, and had a very, very small counter and area to get ready. My daughter and I had to take turns using the space. The room was expensive for what we got. The room was one of 4 in a small building on the back side of the property. The building backed up to a side street and a house and it felt a little on the sketchy side. The room was also pretty musty smelling. Since we were on the ground floor and travelling by ourselves I was reluctant to keep the window open at night. The shower went from scalding hot to ice cold at least 8 times while I took a shower and no one was flushing a toilet in our room. The beds were pretty hard and not real comfortable. The room was clean and quiet enough. The town of Tropic has a store, gas station, and pizza place - that is about it. It is about 8-10 minutes past Bryce Canyon. If we were to stay in Tropic again, we would definitely choose the cabins. I would suggest just staying in the Bryce Village area where there is a tad more to do.

Yelp
Sadly, I can only give the hotel portion of this establishment a 2 star rating. We booked into the motor inn section, not a cabin, so my expectations were tempered. We were arriving later in the evening and leaving early the next morning. We expected/needed nothing more than a clean/comfy spot to crash for the night. Check-in was a breeze and the office was open until 9pm. They appeared to have a system for late check-in as well. Check-out was also easy and they serve breakfast and coffee in the office, which is perfect. The room leaves something to be desired. My main complaint was that the room smelled. At first we thought a skunk was outside. It may have been that someone was smoking pot in an adjacent room. But, we think it was the AC. When we turned off the AC unit, the smell dissipated somewhat. The water also smelled strongly of sulfur. So we brushed our teeth with bottled water and avoided showering in the room. Overall, the room was clean and had been recently updated. The door to the bathroom was a bit difficult to close-- but not a huge deal. Between the skunky smell and the stinky water, we just weren't comfy in this room and I can't give it more than 2 stars, though our stay was otherwise fine.

Yelp
A quaint series of prefabricated cabins in an otherwise unremarkable town. It's about 15 minutes from the hotel to the main gate of Bryce, which was our reason for selecting it. I was a little freaked out when we first arrived since the two chairs and table for our room were on top of the bed when we first entered, hopefully this was just an error on the part of housekeeping, but it was a little jarring as a first impression. The staff was nice and offered suggestions for dining. No free breakfast, which seems a little unusual for this size hotel. No pool. Rooms were small, but comfy. No laundry onsite. No real view to speak of. It was nice and quiet, walking distance from restaurants. I guess for the price I just expected a little more than we got. The Mossy Cave hike is between Tropic and Bryce, I highly recommend this hike even to non-hikers!

Yelp
We spent 3 days here and will absolutely go back if visiting Bryce Canyon area again. The cabin was comfortable and well-appointed, even thick towels :) Expresso bar and light food selection were a big plus. And location in Tropic is close by but out of the touristy access to the park. Satisfied with meals at pizza place and diner within walking distance too. In addition to Bryce, highly recommend Willis Creek Narrows Trail in nearby Cannonville.

Yelp
it is all about expectation management. It is an old facility. rate is affordable. sheets looked clean. Sticky carpet and dusty drapery definitely need to be replaced. I wore socks when I was in the room, the bottom of the socks ended up black. Occasionally there was an unexplained foul odor.

Yelp
So fun and walk to what you need. Super sweet people everywhere. Clean cabins and great food. Close drive to all the hot spots in area. It's worth it.

Yelp
Great cozy cabins perfect size, warm Welcome and hospitality, in a stunning part of America.

Yelp
We have been in Utah for over a week now and stayed in 6 different places and the BCI was by far the beat! The woman who operates the Inn is amazing, hard working knowledgeable and kind! Don't know how she does it with all the crazy tourists and in the midst of Covid. The cabins were cozy, very well done, bery clean, beds were comfortable and all well maintained. By far the best hotel breakfast with good quality food and Coffee!! Thanks for a great stay, it added to our overall great experience.

Hugh K.

Yelp
The Bryce Canyon Inn made for a nice and memorable experience. Each "room" is actually a private cabin. Ours was in like-new condition and everything inside was in good working order. Our room was clean and quiet and comfortable. The only true down side to this stay was that there was no workable internet to allow for use of our cell phone AND the hotel's wifi was super, super slow.
google avatar

Mike K.

Yelp
We stayed in a double queen cabin. The vaulted ceiling and ceiling fan were a big plus. The cabin floor actually sloped just a bit which we found interesting. The unit was clean. My wife lost a chain which the housekeeping person found - thanks again. This is not a fancy inn but the value for the money ($109/night) is excellent. Breakfast is basic (4 cereals, yogurt, English muffin, mini bagels, milk, Apple and orange juice, bananas, apples and oranges. The employees provided excellent information and even recommended a place to have my eyeglasses repaired. This is super service. It was handy to park at the door. Additionally, the room had a built in bottle opener near the sink. The two outside chairs were comfortable - perfect for enjoying the cool dry air. Unfortunately, the two inside wood chairs were extremely uncomfortable. The short drive to Bryce is no big deal and you have the benefit of not being near the congestion at Rubys.

Yelp
To be honest I booked 2 nights at Bryce Canyon Inn because the hotels at the entrance of the park were all sold out. But I didn't regret it! What a wonderful place to stay! And way less expensive than the hotels at the entrance of the park. They have rooms and cabins. I booked a cabin and it was large, very nice with wood paneled walls, and with a fridge and a microwave. The continental breakfast is included, and you have free WiFi. Some cabins are located very close to the main road, but there is almost no traffic at night so no problem. There is a pizzeria, a restaurant and a grocery store just next to the cabins. From the cabin to the entrance of the park it's a 10 minute drive, which can be considered as the only downside. Also maybe this road would probably make some people feel unsafe at night since there's no lights, but otherwise it's fine.

Heidi H.

Yelp
While it doesn't look like much we were very pleased. Price for 2 queens was $104 before everyone's tax additions. Front desk gave us a "goodie" bag with 2 waters and granola bars. Who does that? Room was clean. Coffee maker and breakfast included. Towels were plentiful. Had dinner at their restaurant and it was reasonably priced especially the drinks.
google avatar

Nicole W.

Yelp
We stayed at Bryce Canyon Inn for 4 nights and hiked Bryce and Zion. We were very impressed with the cabins! They were very clean, quiet and comfortable. The cabins had all the amenities we needed after a long day of hiking - microwave, mini fridge, a small seating area inside as well as patio chairs outside. There is also a cute coffee shop with fresh pastries at the Inn which was convenient! The staff were very friendly and accommodating as well. I would highly recommend staying here if you are heading to Bryce Canyon. If you do stay here - be sure to check out Stone Hearth Grille for dinner. A little pricier, but worth every penny!
google avatar

Kate M.

Yelp
We were very happy with this place! The rooms are very clean and comfortable. All the rooms are simple, individual cabins but have all the amenities you could need. Heating and cooling worked well, the tv was big and had a complete list of channels, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was cozy and perfect for use after a day of hiking. Microwave, small fridge, small table and seating area, and even a front patio with chairs was included. The inn also has the town's only coffee shop attached to it which is definitely a plus! The caretakers are very friendly and of course Bryce Canyon is only a 15 min drive away. There are a few restaurants within walking distance that are decent as well (I reviewed the ones I utilized.)
google avatar

Tiffany M.

Yelp
We had a wonderful stay here. The rooms are little cabins, which is great if you have kids ( don't have to worry about shared walls and them being too loud.) each room has a fridge a little table that was great for breakfast, and a little porch so you can sit out front. The pizza place ( aka the best restaurant in town) is part of the property. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The office is also the town coffee shop which is amazingly awesome. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. It's a short drive into the park. There is a market next door where you can buy breakfast or lunch supplies. It was perfect! After being in our cabin at Bryce Canyon Inn we were sooo thankful we didn't choose Ruby's Inn or one of the other chain hotels closer to the park. So crowded and cheesy. Tropic is a quaint little town. We had a great time.

K G.

Yelp
Went here for pizza for dinner. Service was great! Pizza was surprisingly good, affordable even though not from scratch (I am guessing). Got to enjoy the patio in the evening, not many bugs. What else to say, if you happen to stay in Tropic or be in the neighborhood and are hungry, this place is definitely worth a try!
google avatar

Cal L.

Yelp
Great place! Clean , quiet and comfortable. The only gripe we had is that we had to pay for our coffees in the morning.

Allyson C.

Yelp
We loved this place! The family cabins are beautiful, spacious, and well-stocked with anything you may need. The location is close to Bryce Canyon and the town has many things to do. The customer service for us was amazing - she upgraded my grandparents to a room close to our family's cabin when she learned we were traveling together. We will be coming back on our next trip!
google avatar

Neil C.

Yelp
Did a three day stay at this place while visiting Bryce Canyon and it was a great experience for us. The people at the front desk where friendly and courteous. The cabin was clean and very comfy. The room included a little fridge and a little microwave which was perfect! And this location was only about 10miles i believe from the Bryce Canyon entrance. If you want to try something a little diffrent from the usual hotel/motel this place was good choice.

Carrie D.

Yelp
Biggest problem... manager doesn't respect her guests..no masks in site. Amd she's prepping food, ..making coffee and taking your card. Super not friendly. Rooms are fine. Ours overlooked the parking lot to the post office. Mattress sucked and carpet felt gross but otherwise nice room. If your in the service industry wear a mask!!! It's not a political choice. Its a health choice of respect for guests
google avatar

Goli P.

Yelp
Great place to stay at while visiting Bryce. The cabins are so warm and cozy! The water is very hot! The cabins look basic but have everything you can possibly need. Parking is super convenient as it is right in front of your cabin. There is a pizza place right across the parking lot. It is a little far from the Bryce Canyon Park entrance, but still worth it. I am not sure about the breakfast because they told us there was none except for this one pastry, but I wouldn't count that as breakfast. It is a great deal for what you get given your other options in the area.
google avatar

Sean B.

Yelp
Drop any other plans for lodging or coffee if you're anywhere near Bryce Canyon. The cedar cabins are cozy, homey, spectacularly clean and super modern. Lights and fans and air conditioning work as needed. The beds are perfect. Could have stayed here a month. The Inn is less than 15 minutes from the BC visitor center, but a universe away from the touristy pit of Ruby's Inn and the Best Western. And the coffee shop has the best hot chocolate for cold mornings of photography and hiking. A gem of a place, and cheap! A miracle.
google avatar

Yelp
Spent several days here in August 2016. The cabins, staff, location to Bryce and whole experience were great! We were greeted by the nicest lady, who told us about the town, restaurants and things to do. The cabin was great! Just the charm I had hoped for. Coffee shop was excellent, with good wholesome food choices. They kept everything spotless. My trip was outstanding, and I would go back and stay again to see additional sights to the east. Local grocery was convenient, and while just a couple restaurants in town, they were good and not too pricey.

Brooke B.

Yelp
Nice, clean, cozy cabin in Bryce Canyon! Friendly staff. Comfortable bed with good shower, refrigerator, A/C unit. Pet friendly too! Located right on the main road, close to all trails, hikes and parks. Parked right outside the front door. I highly recommend it!

Yelp
3.25 stars. (How's that for indecisive?) Pros: - Inexpensive (compared to the hotels at Bryce Canyon.) We paid $99/night + tax in prime season. - Cute cabins. - Extra outlets in the room for charging electronic gizmos. (You'd be surprised by how many hotels don't have this.) - Respectable free breakfast. - Very clean and new. Cons: - Far from the action of Bryce Canyon (about a 20 minute drive through narrow, windy, dark mountain roads.) - Inadequate window shades. I kept waking up and thinking it was morning because of a streetlamp outside. White vertical blinds aren't going to do it! Plus, you could see into the room, if you wanted to. There was nothing wrong with the hotel itself, but I wouldn't stay here again. If you only have a limited time at Bryce, stay closer to the park. The difference in price by far makes up for the convenience of being a 5 minute shuttle ride away.
google avatar

Wayne C.

Yelp
While certainly not as flashy as Ruby's, I don't think my visit to Bryce Canyon would have been as memorable had I not stayed here. I rented the Lower 40 cottage for 1 night, and it was very much worth it. My travel companion and I were as giddy as little children when we stayed at the cottage. Sure, it's about 10-15 min outside of Tropic, but it's quiet and surrounded by peaceful farmland. At night, every star in the sky is visible, and at dawn, the way the sunlight creeps over the farm fields is incredibly refreshing. This little cottage made my vacation. PS: The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Family-owned operations always have that extra touch of enthusiasm.

Yelp
Clean spacious log cabins, parking right in front of the door. The owners even offered that in case of rain I could park my motorbike under a roof on a small patio. Located conveniently just a short drive from Bryce Canyon. Complimentary continental breakfast was basic but nice. Enough to hit the road. One regret: although they also serve best coffee in the area ( Bryce Canyon Coffee Co.), this coffee does not come with breakfast. Pity!
google avatar

Magda C.

Yelp
Comfortable and clean. Very spacious and located just 15 minutes from Bryce Canyon. Parking right in front of the cabin door, which was very convenient. I liked the frontier style. Complimentary breakfast was simple, but enough to start the day!
google avatar

Yelp
This is an excellent place to stay when visiting Bryce Canyon. The cabins were very clean and modern with a rustic touch. I want to emphasize the "clean" part. Our cabin was probably one of the most spotless lodgings I've ever slept in. The neat freak in me was jumping for joy! I also want to point out that the continental breakfast was above average. They had plenty of bagels, pastries, fresh fruit and the coffee was somewhat drinkable. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for rustic style accommodations and trying to avoid the tourist trap in Bryce Canyon City.

Todd A.

Yelp
Great staff. Accommodating and nice modern cabins. A steal in the area and we met some really fun travelers as well. Great value in a beautiful place.

Yelp
We booked two rooms in the motor lodge section of the hotel. As you first arrive, you might be put off by the motor lodge look of the rooms (the entrance to our rooms was from the back parking lot next to the dumpsters) Once you're inside, you'll discover very clean good size rooms with comfortable beds. We did not stay in the cabins which did appear to be more charming with less obstructed views off of their separate front porches, but the rooms we booked met our needs. We wanted to economize by staying in the motor Lodge since we needed to book two rooms and it was a very good compromise.
