Last minute 1 night stay. Hosts were very welcoming. The room was absolutely spotless. Our breakfast was fantastic and the hosts catered for Coeliac, great Gluten Free options available. 10/10 would recommend.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at this guest house. Rooms were immaculately done and had everything you needed in terms of amenities. The cooked breakfast was very nice both days. Good selection on the continental style. Short walk to Conwy which was a really pretty place. Definitely would stay here again.

There's not a great deal more to say - it's all been said already! Spotlessly clean, comfy room with some nice touches (for an excellent-value B&B): toiletries including proper handwash; tissues; mints; biscuits; bottled water; replenished (without fail) tea & coffee etc etc... Some of the sockets in our room even had USB ports. There's a fridge on the landing on both floors and you can help yourself to fresh milk if you prefer it to the usual UHT in the rooms (little jugs provided). We used the fridge, though, to chill a bottle of wine! Owners Gill and Andrew are lovely and their 18 years experience as B&B hosts shines through. It's a great base for wandering in the area. Stayed for 3 nights and didn't need to get into the car once - it just sat there gathering blossom the whole time! Short 8 minute stroll into Conwy town centre and beyond. Did a lovely, easy coastal walk to Llandudno (about four and a half miles) and hopped on the number 5 bus back to Conwy (thanks for the info on the buses, Gill). Andrew cooked us one of the best breakfasts we've ever had anywhere. Superb quality ingredients - and plenty of them - prepared to order and to perfection. The sausages are to die for! Didn't mind at all being asked to come for a certain time to breakfast as this ensures your food arrives as soon as it leaves the pan. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area and will book direct next time.

The hosts made us feel very welcome. Our room at the top was spacious, and had everything we needed. The view was to the mountain, green valley and the castle. Breakfast was delicious, made to order. I thoroughly recommend it as a place to stay, to explore historic Conwy.

My wife and I travelled from Australia in late may 2025 to come and see Simple Minds perform in there home town of Glasgow. We planned a 5 week holiday travelling around England, Wales and Scotland. We stayed at Bryn Derwen in Conwy on June 11 for 2 nights. Andrew and Gill were so friendly and welcoming, and Andrew cooked us the best breakfasts we had on the trip. The accomodation was beautiful, the garden was blooming, the sun was shining and our view of the castle and country side was stunning, we found it hard to leave. The location is perfect as well with easy walking distance to Conwy town centre. Our stay was one of the many highlights of our trip. We highly recommend Bryn Derwen whwn travelling through North Wales.

Stayed in a top floor room that was spacious and very nicely decorated. Extremely friendly service, great breakfast, easy walk to Conwy Castle and town. Highly recommend as long as you are ok with stairs and being on a fairly steep hill.

Fantastic hotel, not a single fault to pick. Booked last minute to celebrate a job offer for my girlfriend, but what a find! Cleanliness immaculate, perfect balance between homely and modern, full vegan option available for breakfast including soy milk and dairy free butter for toast. Didn’t manage to get the owner’s name but she was lovely and very accommodating. Steep hill to drive up so make sure you’ve got a confident driver with a decent bit of power, but that then affords you a stunning view over the valley. Will definitely return it in the area
