We experiences a quite small room for a couple, small bathroom with no place to put your personal things, a deteriorated tube, initially one room very noisy because of late and early traffic and because of the noise of the electric engine on the ground. Mattress uneven, pillows of one type with no change option. Nice people though.

Great service and accommodations. Bathrooms are a bit too modern for my taste but all else (bed, bedding, room setup, TV, toiletries, etc.) worked great for us. From the service desk personnel (shout out to Melanie and Cecilia) to the wonderful staff at the delicious breakfast buffet (Paola, Sebastian and their team), everyone made us feel welcome and at home. We will return to this gem when we need to visit our relatives again. Well done, BTH!

En el restaurante, Abel fue el mejor mesero que hemos tenido en todo Lima! El servicio fue el mejor!!! La comida fie excellente tambien...buenaso!! ||The hotel is extremely fancy and beds are super comfy. Air conditioning is very welcomed as well. Our bathroom had a sauna and the shower had a streamer. |The food at the restaurant is well worth the price. Great quantity AND quality.||The hotel price per night is expensive compared to other hotels but after staying, we see why. If you want high quality service and stay and a super fancy place, then your gotta pay for it.

Excellent service in Restaurant. Javier was incredibly kind and helpful. A gentleman. He offered us tips on our travels and kindly sourced menu alternatives for us when we asked. Otherwise the hotel is nice, in a nice location and the staff are very kind.

I was in the fence when I arrived. It was late and just came from the airport. Not sure why, but I was thinking I'm going somewhere else tomorrow, well tomorrow came and another 11 nights. This place is not your fancy 5 star hotel, but it was not meant to be. It is cozy, warmth, full of people that wants you there, excellent service, very clean rooms, management stop by and ask how you are doing and the rooms are quite Chic. It also has a good Bar (Madbar) and a excellent restaurant. Yes Lima has very good restaurants, but many times our group was just as happy with the hotel restaurant food than when we went out. I would probably pic this hotel if I go back to Lima. You can't beat the family atmosphere they have created for their guests. Recommended for business travellers and family groups!

BTH San Borja has become my default go-to-hotel when in Lima. While most visitors in Lima may find San Borja to be a bit far from touristy (and lovely) Miraflores, the benefits of staying at BTH, for me, outweigh the appeal of being close to the ocean, especially during the winter months of Lima. As a matter of fact, the city's micro climates will show you are more likely to see sunlight in in July or August in San Borja than if you'd stayed in Miraflores or Barranco. To boost, San Borja is one of the greenest neighborhoods in Lima. It has beautiful well-kept parks and paths for joggers and cyclists. ||A big walker and jogger myself, I've loved warming up at BTH's well-equipped gym and then head off for nice long jogs along San Borja Norte Avenue, for example, which is just a couple of blocks from the hotel. But what makes BTH truly unique is what they have inside. As you may have seen in the photos of the hotel, some rooms have a dry sauna AND a steam room adjacent to it. Some have steam rooms and jacuzzis. I can't imagine a better way to unwind after a full day in Lima. And in my most recent visit I was happily surprised when I was upgraded to their Business Room which--located on the top floor of the hotel--has a great layout, a super comfortable bed, high ceilings, cool views, and more importantly, they are quiet. Just great.||While I love the vibrant scene that BTH carries in its DNA, some guests may be bothered by the noise from the first floor, especially when Mad Bar is hosting events or parties, which happens regularly. If a quiet night's sleep is a must during your stay, I would definitely suggest you look into getting a room in the upper floors. The staff at the hotel have always been super friendly and accommodating. Every time I walk into BTH, they immediately make me feel at home. ||To top it off, the food at the hotel is way better than average--I had one of the best burgers I've had in Lima for room service!--and there is even a supermarket around the block from the hotel. Uber services in Lima are widely available so if you choose to stay at BTH San Borja you are basically right next to San Isidro and making trips to Miraflores, Barranco, Chacarilla or downtown Lima are easy to do. ||Overall, It's all very convenient and very different to what you may find in most business hotels. BTH is, hands down, the coolest hotel experience you will have in Peru's capital.
