What a mind trip. I've never been so confused in my life. Exploring Portland with a bunch of my girlfriends for a weekend, and we had to stop in and check out the "thrift store, meets club" vibe place that people talk about. It smells like an old dungeon, but the dance floor was packed with so many different aged people it was so nice to see. The dance floor is super weird as well. So many were tripping over the uneven tiles . The bar is cash only, and there was a 5$ cover charge. Overall, it was an experience. Different. Definitely could use some good cleaning and renovations . But I definitely still had fun dancing.

This landmark bar & club is not to be missed! Visit on Fridays, wear your retro outfits, and dance to all your favorite 80's music on the lighted dance floor. So fun here!

The way they treat their customers…. I am a tourist who is celebrating his birth with his local friends—the attitude towards the customer is unexcaptable. I already told my local friend how the place acted and how was the experience. If I came Portland again, I will try and not even think about this place. Disaster...

As delightful of a disaster of an experience as the other reviewers led me to believe it would be. Traveling from the west coast and looking for a place to dance, we found this place. The atmosphere was beautifully bizarre, the music was eclectic (we went on a Saturday night, 90s to now), the service was fast and friendly and the crowd was a mix for sure. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for sure - I hope to go back next weekend before we head home!!

I genuinely found this place to be really nasty. It stinks and, as another reviewer said, smells like it hasn’t been cleaned since 1980. The crowd is… strange to say the least. It’s located in a bit so nice area in town. Homeless people trying to get into our car as we left. Creepy people lurking as we danced. The music was truly all over the place in terms of genres. One song would be great, next 10 songs were not. I did not enjoy my time here at all. I’m not sure why this is raved about in Portland. I wouldn’t recommend anyone going here.

This place is a fever dream of a club...went for 80s night and left feeling confused about life and everything I know. 10/10, will definitely be back soon. Bartender was quick, and drinks were made good (almost too good)

Bubbas is a GREAT place for girls night, especially on Friday, 80's night! Too bad it's not free for those who dress up in 80's anymore ... should be on the website so people know before they get there to have cash for the cover and that it's cash only for the bar
