Another outstanding experience here, I should stop trying to find new places and stay with what works best! Speedy perfect service, relaxed atmosphere, ( nice and cool too), and excellent food- Complex and refreshing ceviche, silky tuna tartare with avocado ( nice touch with some crunch on the side for texture), and perfectly cooked lamb chops ( and didn’t even realize fries came with). Versatile wines by the glass to pair with and it all adds up to another winning night, thanks Bubo you know I’ll be back!

I was really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The service was lacking, and the bartender was quite unpersonable. The server was great, and it helped at the end, but it didn't make up for the overall experience. The cocktails were good, but unfortunately, the food was a different story. I ordered the risotto, and to my dismay, the rice was crunchy when I got it. I recently moved into the area and was looking for a neighborhood bar, but this will not be one of them. I expected much better, and I won’t be returning.

I stopped at this restaurant randomly while exploring the city. It had good reviews so I decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, my experience was not entirely positive. It was a small restaurant but they were pretty busy. I only saw one waitress for the entire restaurant, including the outside seating. Another employee came up and spoke to the waitress while she was trying to work. I got the impression it may have been the manager. She continued to work and I could tell she got visibly annoyed as he kept talking and she was trying to work. I ordered the Birria Tacos and they were good, not great. I did appreciate they were served with three sauces. The green sauce was definitely my favorite. The other two were a bit underdeveloped. The worst part of the experience was the end. I received the tacos but was not acknowledge after that. I finished and wait for the check. The waitress was busy but the other employee that had stopped her from working was standing around. 15 minutes after finishing my meal I was still waiting for my check. I got out my credit card hoping that would speed up the process. Another 5 minutes + later the employee that was standing around noticed and pulled the waitress aside and made eye contact with me. She came over directly after and took the card. I don’t know if the other employee was 100% manager but if you have an employee just standing around then there is definitely some cross training needed.

Google
Stylish cocktail bar and restaurant in Murray Hill. My partner and I have stopped in a few times for drinks and oysters. Service is friendly, cocktails are exceptional, and the oysters are fresh. The food menu is also large, if you are feeling hungry. There is plenty of seating at the bar or tables if you arrive earlier (before 8pm).

Google
Bubo has done it again. This breathtaking speakeasy with a twist of Mediterranean fare is by far the most attractive venue in Midtown East if not in Manhattan. The vibe, the food and most importantly the service and the people involved in the care and the detail built into the experience is why I come here almost everyday and every night! The best of the best only here. Their most recent addition to the menu is seen in the pics here. Peruvian with a slice of Japanese fare.

Google
Their brunch was delicious and they have a really nice set for $24 on weekends. It included two drinks, a beverage, main, AND dessert!!! Really great price for the amount and quality of food. The service was also amazing-John was our server and he was the sweetest! He was super friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. Would definitely come back and recommend!!!

Google
The food was incredibly flavorful, with every dish tasting fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The drinks were equally impressive—balanced, creative, and perfectly paired with the meal. The cozy, family-like atmosphere made the experience even more special, with friendly service and a warm, inviting ambiance. Andreas is so kind and welcoming. I wish I took pictures before the food prior to the demolishment :)

Google
Highly recommend the brunch, great value and experience. The inside and cute and clean - opposite of lots of brunch places which are crowded and grimy. Bathroom is also clean! Service was great as well. Our waitress was very friendly and everything was timed well, not too fast or slow. She was also very nice to our 4 year old. The burger and mimosas were delicious. We were so full and remembered we still had dessert coming - so portions were very generous.

Yelp
The best cocktails and atmosphere ! Our waitress maggie was so attentive and outgoing. Would definitely come here again for the fresh drinks and the environment!

Yelp
LOVE THIS PLACE!! The drinks were to die for and the charcuterie board hit the nail on the head. Maggie was the best waitress and was so attentive! Overall 10/10 experience. Must go spot in Murray hill:

Yelp
Great neighborhood spot to grab a drink and sit outside. My son and I enjoyed people watching on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Super nice servers who checked on us often and never rushed us. I've been previously for brunch and cocktails and never had a bad experience here. Inside is much darker and moodier complete with a bar area and tabletops. The back space behind the curtains seems to be for larger parties, but unclear since I've never sat back that way. Their brunch deal is pretty good - 2 drinks, 1 entree and dessert. Food is decent. Happy hour has a limited menu, but is everyday 4-6:30pm. Their red/white wines from Portugal were deliciously easy to drink!

Teresa S.

Yelp
This is our go to brunch place. Not sure what has happened recently but the great staff is gone... replaced by folks that don't take your order, mess up you order, (my friend got his and was able to nearly finish it before I got my food). I was offered a free OJ but that didn't rectify the experience. Come on Bubo! You can do way better!
google avatar

Yelp
Never have had bad food. Drink is also not bad. It just because price is moderate sometimes customers are loud and have too much drinks. So if you want to avoid the type of a group of people go there after happy hour is over.

Yelp
Came by for a work event. They have a good amount of standing room space in the back for small events. The service was pretty quick and attentive. I only had some white wine which I enjoyed. Would like to come back and try other things off their menu.

Yelp
If you're in the mood for a happy hour that's more foodie than drunkie, Bubo is THE spot! Tucked away from the all the congestion of 34th Street, and decorated like something out of Great Gadsby you will be feeling and feeding on the vibes courtesy of their servers and bartender. I loved all three plates of Mediterranean meze/tapas paired with my Portuguese red. The meatballs with feta yogurt dip are a MUST try. They had the most satisfying mouth feel of a crusted exterior with a soft melt in your mouth interior. I'm still thinking of them on my commute home...damn they were THAT good. The grilled octopus was close behind with perfectly tender and tart bites to accompany our Horiatiki salad. TGI Bubo!

Yelp
We came here on a Saturday night, walked in around 8:30pm, and got seats at the bar. The drinks were absolutely delicious--I had the Fig Honey Fix, and I was buzzed after just one drink! The drinks are reasonably priced too, around $15-$18. The atmosphere was dimly lit with a classy, sophisticated vibe. The only downside is they only have one restroom. The service was great as well! I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area again.

Yelp
This is a super spacious restaurant with two bar areas. Came here with friends post-dinner and was seated at the back bar and the waitresses were super friendly. I like the decor, too. Good vibes overall. I did not drink alcohol but there was plenty of non--alcoholic beverages on the menu that were easy to navigate to. Next time I'd want to try the food options!

Yelp
We live couple blocks away from this place I love the happy hours, food is great and service is amazing. Love it!

Yelp
This is probably my newest favorite neighborhood spot. Bubo is perfect for a chill night out with your friends, date or even family. The lights are perfectly dimmed and the music is not too high to allow for great conversation. The drinks and food are also great. I had the Berry Fields - it tastes like strawberry lemonade, and had the perfect alcohol-mixer ratio. It's also super pretty which helps. I've tried a couple items on the menu but my favorite is the halloumi toast. I know, basic. But the toast is perfectly toasted. The halloumi is perfectly seasoned. The tomato is super fresh. Love everything about it. I also tried the charcuterie board. The cheese selection was really good - especially the honey goat cheese! The baguette type of bread was kind of stale, but the toasts were good, and the fig jam was a nice touch. The rosemary chicken bites were just OK, a bit too garilc-y for my taste. But good. I can't end my review without mentioning the service. The staff are all amazing! Keep Bubo in mind for your next outing - it's truly one my new favs!

Yelp
The decor and ambiance were relaxing and beautifully decorated. The food was even better. It was AMAZING! I rarely write reviews, but eat out most of the time. MAIN DISHES: I ordered the Cod and vegetables (I normally never eat that.). The fish was beautifully flaky and tender, has a hint of mustard taste. It was not a frozen patty. It was an actual fresh fish section. There was no skin and NO head (thank you). For this who think that vegetables are just decoration for the main meat, like me, here is a place when you actually WANT to eat your vegetables. The Brussel Sprout seasoning was kind of like Sazon and gently burned giving it an out-of-this-world flavor. Yes, Brussel Sprouts are typically made in this way at restaurants, but this was better than the other high class restaurant recipes. While I wish that the vegetables had that Brussel Sprout same flavor, the vegetables in their own right had a nice subtle taste. They and the potatoes were cooked at the perfect timing for texture. Outside of expensive restaurants, you wouldn't believe how many food places, can't do this as they are too busy, are understaffed or just had the wrong timing. My boyfriend who has the chicken tacos, was so impressed with his meal, the vibe, and the service, he wants to go back again. I tried a bite too. The guacamole like topping had a creamy, light texture. Not your typical tasting guacamole, this fluffy topping made the dish. SERVING SIZE: The amount of food is for those who are into portion control and don't over stuff themselves. I am a walking bear. My legs are just here to propel the stomach. ;) LOL. So for those who missed lunch, like moí, and now it's dinner time, you probably want to order an appetizer and you will have room for dessert as well. The good part is that you get try the appetizer, main meal, and dessert and come out full, but not over stuffed like at a Thanksgiving meal. COOKING TIME: We didn't have to wait too long for our food, so that's always a plus. SERVICE: For those who look for a pretty face in their waitresses...and those who just want great service and don't care if it's a garden gnome who gives it to them, you can each be happy. The servers are all pretty and ours was nice as well. The service is prompt by both her and another waitress who check our drink levels. I always watch for water glass refill offers before the glass is 1/2 empty withOUT me asking. I shouldn't have to ask and thankfully, I didn't have to. It's always a sign of how the rest of the service will be like even when they are not making money off of the drink. (Some are diabetic or dieting and don't drink soda, some, for various reasons, don't drink alcohol), but it's a nice sign when we are treated well as if we were paying for a drink. So instead, we happily put our money towards other things like dessert. ;) ha ha) DESSERT Their Apple Tart was so popular that it ran out. My boyfriend got the classic chocolate lava cake with ice cream. It was beautifully presented and tasty. It is a smaller position than what I am used to seeing, however, this is clever as there is no food waste and it's accounting for you being somewhat full from the appetizer and/or the main meal. MENU: Note that that their menus are digital, so make sure that at least one of you brings your smart phone to use the QR code. BAR: They have the main bar, and then they have a bar with a marble looking top (I didn't closely investigate). It's in the back room where you can rent it out for a small company party. People can walk around all sides of the medium sized, back bar for a nice traffic flow. ATMOSPHERE: Back area lighting and seating: Think of a bar stool raised, table for four or maintained, leather-like, cozy, rounded corner bench seating. A semi-casual classy vibe, but not stuffy. There definitely was thought put into their furniture materials and decor elements from the glasses to their lighting fixtures to their seating. The lights are dimmable to give you just the right atmosphere vibe and was dimmed appropriately for us without us even asking. Low enough to feel romantic or to give that pub feel, and raised high enough that you can read words withOUT reaching for the nearest light on the table or wondering if the electricity bill was paid. It's nicely lit so no tripping here! :D CLEANLINESS: The tables were clean and not sticky. You can tell that great care had put a lot of the detail in running the place. For those who think that it's just a nice review, put it this way... I am just a regular person, but when I am at another restaurant, eating my usual dish, and it's visually it's fine, I can tell when the chef/cook goes on vacation and the dish is made by someone else. ;)

Yelp
This bar is actually beautiful and quite large, would be perfect for an event or a large group, while the service is a bit lacking and the gin cocktails weren't great, the fries and cheeseboard were good. The Aioli with the fries was a huge winner, even when the cheese was a little lacking. Looking forward to be back!

Yelp
Really fun spot in Midtown. Lexi and Mia are so nice and make their own cocktails for us.

Yelp
Had my birthday celebration at Bubo in the backroom and it was such a great experience, from contacting the team to the oustanding hospitality on the night of. I've walked past Bubo many times but never realised how deep the restaurant goes, with the front of the restaurant featuring mainly high top and bar seats, that leads into a bar like area again with high top seating that is a little more intimate, to an open space at the back and then the backroom that is lined with a long L-shaped dark blue velet couch. It was the perfect space for people to mingle, shift around seats as needed, and reach to grab food and drinks. The dim lights with their lit up wall pieces really set a moody atmosphere. For food and drinks, their assorted choices of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes were great to cater to the dietary restrictions. Drinks were also a hit and I believe with everyone there, we were able to try almost every drink on the menu! Lastly, wanted to shoutout Elizabeth from the team at Bubo for helping and guiding me through the entire planning process, for being patient with me and all the questions I had. The waitstaff were also extremely generous and patient with us, and gave the perfect balance of friendly hospitality with letting us do our own thing. If you're looking to gather friends together for a special occasion, I highly highly recommend Bubo!

Yelp
We found this place by accident coming from another event and looking for a cocktail. So happy we found Bubo! We initially told the friendly hostess we were there just for drinks, but after soaking in the chill atmosphere sipping our tasty Boulevardiers, we moved to a table more suitable for eating and ordered a few plates to share. The lamb chops and risotto were sooo good! And the service was excellent and very attentive. A great place to meet and chat with friends. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Espresso martini was bomb but the mushroom flatbread lacked flavor. Had potential but needed more sauce/glaze. Points for the upscale cozy vibes, cute back bar area, and sweet service.

Yelp
Bubo is my go to spot for a good cocktail and appetizers! I have been going to Bubo for the last 3 years or so and they are always consistent. Beautiful atmosphere and cozy vibes for a date night or dinner spot. All of the staff has been nothing but wonderful. Great wines and beers available but cocktails are my favorite! Wonderful espresso martini & spicy margarita, hiiiiighly recommend. The best appetizer is Halloumi cheese and meatballs. They also always play great music! Recently my fiancée threw me a surprise engagement party here and it was fantastic! The service was incredible and everyone was so happy. The bathrooms are clean. They made everything incredibly easy and comfortable for everyone. Love this place!

Yelp
Love coming here for late night drinks and light bites. If you can, I highly recommend sitting in the back room. The lighting is dim and warm, and the booths are comfortable. I believe the private room beyond the back room is also available to book for private events. (PS. Random, but I also love the water glasses at this restaurant. They've got a beautiful corrugated look). The drinks are normal prices for a cocktail in NYC, but the food is more on the pricey side for the portion. I really liked the fig cocktail. The saganaki was good but more salty than I've had at other places. The shishito peppers were good too. Haven't had a full meal here, but would come back for dinner!

Yelp
Order: - Prix Fixe Brunch: Crispy Chicken & Waffle (5/5) Pros: - Great value brunch prix fixe menu ~ only $20 for a cocktail, a drink, and an entree - Great tasting food ~ the chicken tenders were nice and crispy and the waffles were sweet - Cute presentation ~ the food is nicely plated and the silverware were cute Cons: - Small outdoor seating area on the sidewalk ~ I came on a warm fall day so it was fine, but I'm not sure how it is now during a cold December day - The menu says you get 2 cocktails, but my friend and I were only offered one Overall: - Bubo is a great spot to visit if you want a tasty brunch that won't hurt your wallet

Yelp
Everything was amazing- from the service, to the ambiance, to the food to the drinks! Lexie was an amazing hostess. She was attentive, sweet and fast! The octopus was so tender. The wagyu burger melted in my mouth (even though I ordered it well done), my partner's salmon was cooked perfectly. Our experience exceeded our expectations and we'll be back!

Yelp
3.5 on good food but the ambience and vibe round it up to 4. Out of the 4 dishes we ate i would recommend the bruschetta the most, it was delicious. The burger was solid and so was the cauliflower. The flatbread had the potential to be the best dish but it was lukewarm and not hot enough.

Alex B.

Yelp
My wife and I came to Bubo for a nice dinner after a long walk with my child and service animal. Upon entering one of the staff members asked if our dog was a service animal to I replied, yes. He continued to press further about what service our dog performed and what my wife's issue was, which embarrassed my wife because she has a debilitating anxiety related issue that our dog helps with, this is different from an ESA pet. She began to explain this, but upon explaining, got very frustrated because the question was extremely inappropriate, asking about the state of her health in front of the whole restaurant. We never got to eat here and we left because of how disrespectful and inconsiderate the person asking the question was and we will not be coming back again.

Yelp
This is the hidden gem of Murray Hill; great spot, good food and amazing Bartender! Their Brunch deal is probably the best bang for the buck and you can find me there every weekend. Say hi to John for me, he makes the best Spicy Margs and Mimosas!

Yelp
Great for a date night. A variety of small plate options and drinks. Good service and would definitely return

Yelp
I love this upscale, yet unpretentious neighborhood spot. The interior is gorgeous, comfortable for that awkward first date but also great for any friends & family gathering. They have outdoor seating with the barrier that shields you as much as possible from street traffic, enough so you don't feel as if you're playing chicken while having a drink. I LOVE their happy hour $1.50 oysters. I cannot emphasize this enough. It's so fresh, shucked so clean & beautifully displayed. Their service is also on point. You genuinely feel that every staff member is there to serve - regardless if they're "your" server or not. Highly recommend and will likely be back over and over.

Dave H.

Yelp
Typical slow service from the owners of Ted's. What TF are you guys thinking? Thank goodness Bella was there to take take of my wife and I. She was very nice and we connected on both being from Texas. Food took 45 minutes...and that's with us two and one other patron in there. Wife's eggs Benedict was not great: Eggs were almost hard boiled and English muffin was burnt. My breakfast burrito was ok but nothing to write home about. With 45 minutes of cook time, I expected something more. Too bad. You are merely a few streets away from and we love supporting neighborhood places. But this ain't it.

Yelp
One thing about this place is its gonna be cozy! Had so much fun here with coworkers. They have very accommodating staff. The food were really great. Drinks are strong but it works for me so I get drunk easily lol but if you wanna have private parties, book it here. A good space for 15 people and yall can party and have fun without disturbing other customers.

Yelp
Bubo is one of my go-to places for a good drink in Murray Hill. It helps that the food is delicious too! I've been here for brunch, happy hour, dinner, and late night drinks. Everything has always been great. Brunch: It's never crowded during brunch and the brunch options are all light, fresh, and delicious. The avocado toast is deceivingly simple, but perfectly seasoned and prepared. Also tried the eggs benedict. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked with a gorgeous runny yolk. Happy Hour: Weekdays from 4-6:30 PM. Fresh $1 oysters. Not much more to say! Dinner: Most of what is served is Mediterranean inspired. So far, I have only had the opportunity to try the mussels, charred shishito peppers, and truffle fries with feta. All three were spot on, and prices are extremely reasonable given the quality. Late night drinks: The bartenders that have served me have always been friendly, but more importantly also made great cocktails. Most of the cocktails are around $12-$14, which is actually quite cheap compared to most of Manhattan. The Boulevardier is honestly one of the best I've had in the city! They have a bar area up front and a larger dining area in the back, which also has its own separate bar. Bottom line: Highly recommended for both food and drinks.

Yelp
This is a cute place for happy hour. The service is excellent and they are super dog friendly. The wine list is great as well.

Yelp
It's Saturday night, the seventeen of us went to Bubo for after dinner drinks. Loving it here so, we stayed till the wee hours of the morning. Sophisticated is the interior of this bar at Murray Hill. Creative are their cocktails. Attentive is the service. Cozy is their "library" semi-private room. At this writing, I cannot attest to their food. Instead, I will treasure this gem of memorable sweet sips with my peeps of then and for years to come. CHEERS!

Beth G.

Yelp
Beautifully designed bar with a super priced brunch! We had the chicken and waffles. Portions were generous, it came with fresh fruit. The chicken was nice and crisp. The waffles were fluffy and crisp on the outside. Service was excellent.

Yelp
This was definitely an accidental find when my friends were looking for drinks in the Maryhill area. One of the coolest things about this place is that it is deceptively large. And the drinks are really good. I feel like the service was also very good. The items are more in a top of style. Our favorite was definitely the appetizers. The flatbread was also pretty good. Protip: there are phone chargers in case your phone is dying lol.

Yelp
Came here for oysters which were $15 a dozen during HH 4-6:30 PM! They were delicious and not overly salty! Got a glass of the white wine and enjoyed the ambience.

Yelp
Stopped by as a last minute decision because it was very cold out, other places were hella packed and we were hungry. now. Quickly looked at the menu and it looked good. We saw that there were heaters so decided to stay. Server was working alone, but still managed to serve, bartend and buss FIVE tables. He was very friendly and efficient. Very impressed! +1 star Food came quickly and tasted really really good. I had the Greek burgers. Super juicy and the feta inside hit the spot. I added the greens inside and it was the perfect bite. My friend had the zucchini fritters and warm grilled octopus. the Tzatziki was sooo good. you could tell it was made in house. packed with flavor. the octopus was v tender. +2 stars Bathroom was clean and had really nice smelling soap and large, tough, soft paper towel to wipe your hands! +1 star Honestly, I'd love to give this place 5 stars but I have to minus one star because the heaters were not on or didn't work(??). I inquired about it and was told to wait and that it would warm up, but it didn't the entire time we were there. Yummm! Brrrr! will be back though, hopefully during warmer times!

Yelp
Bubo was real good. Matter of fact, it was fantastic and our server Soleé was a sweetheart. I came here on an empty stomach but that changed real quick after slurping down a dozen fresh oysters neatly arranged on a tray of ice in a neat clockwise fashion on small bulbs of ice. I wished they gave out a little more mignonette sauce, but I appreciated the simplicity of serving the condiments within an oyster shell. I thought the concept was super cute!! We were here on a whim for my sister's birthday celebration but after such an experience beyond what we were used to, I definitely will be coming back!! The owners were terrific too!! 10/10.

Yelp
Good food, especially the chicken tocos! This place has a great outdoor space and really chill atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend and come back!

Yelp
A follow up review on this place because I find myself going here whenever I need to think and have a good drink. My drink of choice is the Last Bubo. It is a drink made with mezcal and it is delicious! I welcomed the new year with a cocktail of infections. Everything but Covid, strep and the flu. I am not sure if it is due to my job feeling like a job and entailing me having to take it for the team and be put in a situation that I absolutely detest, my current dating situation being everything but green fields and sunshine, or if I have been frustrated that I wasn't able to go to the gym for a month due to the ailments, but I was down in the dumps. I haven't been in the mood to hang out with ppl and just needed a drink to myself. I first went to Docks, but it was just so crowded. So I made my way to Bubo and met Andres and his business partner, I was on my way out after having the Last Bubo (my favorite drink) and truffle fries and they stopped me to ask about things here. I sat with them and they brought out various dishes that were new on the menu. The mushroom pizza, was delicious! I wish I wasn't so full from my fries. The fries used to be shoe string, but now they are thicker and are batter fried. Not mad at all. This place is so dear to me and my friends that we go here often. Next place to try is Ted's, which I am 100% sure will be just as great as here and Aunt Bernie's. If you are around here, try it out. Great date spot.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this brunch spot, and was pleasantly surprised by their outdoor dining option. They have separated dining seats with ample, comfortable and heated seating for each party. As for the food, it was definitely good, but not amazing. Chicken and Waffles: The chicken could have been more crispy with a crunch to it, as well as more juicy as well. The waffles also needed to have more of a crunch to them - they had the texture of the kind you'd make yourself of a breakfast buffet. 3/5 Avocado Eggs Benedict: This dish was also good. Eggs poached well - overall quite standard. Came with a side of delicious potatoes and a salad. 4/5 They offer a fantastic brunch deal where you can get two mimosas + one juice + one entr

Yelp
Phenomenal service! I really wish I got her name but my friend and I were served by a super friendly and just all around wholesome server. Food - 5/5. Only had the calamari (lemon'd up), the octopus (made me think they got the octopus on the spot with how delicious it was), and the chocolate lava cake with ice cream - the chocolate oozing out of the cake deserves its own review. Drinks - 5/5. I ordered a reliable Malbec, and it was very delicious Bathroom - 5/5, old school interior design that gave me shady Mad Men deal vibes, ample space with a sliding door and good accessibility! Mints - 10/10, love a free mint!

Yelp
Drinks: 5/5 Ordered a bottle of sparkling wine for the table & it was popping! It was a nice Brut wine on the sweeter side, which I LOVED! Service: 4/5 We walked in on a Tuesday evening and there was no host in the front to greet us, which was a bit odd. We ended up sitting in a booth in a corner and within a few minutes we were greeted and they took our order! Staff checked in occasionally. Vibe: 5/5 This place is a secret gem! I've walked past here so many times and never gave it another glance. Upon entering, it was SO much bigger than I thought. I expected a hole in the wall but it is a large space. In the front is a pub vibe and the further you go back it gets dim and a nice intimate, classy but laid back vibe sort of like a speakeasy! Perfect for a girl's night out, date night, or large group get togethers! Will have to come back to Bubo during happy hour!

Yelp
Marg check: it's a cocktail bar marg. It's good. Sorta spicy and it comes with a straw. Thank god I forgot my lipstick so I can't loose any on a night out. The place is adorable. I'd like to think when I become bffs with Gwyneth and get a place in Brentwood my kitchen will look like this back bar. Yes I just want the bar I have no intention of actually cooking so just the bar please. The crowd here is typical bridge and tunnel Mixed with some older bro "Murray Thrill" as they called themselves residents. I'm not above getting free drinks so Ash and I went for a walk through the zoo of patrons to find the most welcoming cage. A table of mid level finance bros was doing shots next to us so we invited ourselves over. Ash tried to talk about the pending Ukraine conflict but all they cared about was some oil pipeline and how it would impact the price of crypto. Crypto was mentioned so I left for the front bar solo to avoid the eventual demise of this conversation into how Kanye West is the greatest living artist and how navy sheets are acceptable bed coverings, they're both just morally wrong. I had another marg it was delicious. I called a Revel, bc fossil fuels are tacky and got back to civilization in the west village. It's fun to visit the zoo but you don't want to live there. Bubo is like a really nice snack bar at the zoo. It has potential I mean they have nice hand soap in the bathroom...he just needs to leave his 3 roommates on 33rd and Lex and get that 1bed on Barrow he keeps talking about

Yelp
There is so much to say about Bubo. Great location, beautiful space, excellent staff and service. Their oysters are so fresh you can smell the ocean. We had the grilled octopus with a heavenly sauce, shrimp and pork tacos, calamari, lamb shank...I can go and on, but please go and taste for yourself.
